The "home" she refers to is New Zealand. Pokarekare Ana is a Maori song, though the version here has translated English words. The movements are based on Maori female traditional dance movement.
The song can be sung with a faster tempo, and versions of it range from pop to opera. It's a song worth searching, to see the variants.
