    I really enjoyed your presentation of this topic! It was easy to follow and more importantly the information is easily generalized to a variety of circumstances. I have not previously learned about the different methods of phenomenological interpretation, I find these distinctions useful but am curious if certain situations would benefit from a specific kind of interpretation. For example, I am writing about using a phenomenological study to evaluate foreign student integration into U.S based classrooms. Do you think that kind of study would benefit from an interpretation of a kind of experience more so than an analysis of the form of an experience? These are fairly abstract concepts and I’m curious if some situations are better suited for one of the three distinctions made in this video.

    Hello, the background ppt slides of your video seem to resemble the content of another video that I showcased to my students in 2019 and that seems to now be deleted. The video offered a wonderful brief review of how to conduct phenomenological analysis (transcendental). Was it your video? And if so, do you have another link for that video? Thank you in advance for your help.

    Can I use phenomenological research to explore perceptions?

  • @thomasjohansen8152
    @thomasjohansen8152 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    i like the video and information, but I often find the "easy examples" as "cats and such" in videos and textbooks more confusing than helpfull. very often the research questions are a little more intrecate than the expamples. I know the examples are ment to be easy, but idk why i rather prefer a more in depth example thats more relatable : D

    This is hard work and it is not made any easier by the fact that Dr Moerman does not know how to pronounce the name of the phenimenon he is describing.

    • @notmyrealpseudonym6702

      How do you pronunciate phenomenon, and which source do you use as a foundation, and if you can understand he is saying phenomenon then doesn't that undermine your proposition?
