Great bowls Sigurdur, the grain pattern in option 2 is better, but option 1 is my fav. The both have a fantastic finish on them. Thanks for sharing.
    Keep on turning.
    Cheers, Bluey 👍

Hi Bluey. I tend to favour no. 2 but simplicity of shape of no. 1 is very pleasing. Thank you for watching and commenting. Most appreciated.

Both very nice and I cannot easily decide on a favourite. Perhaps no 2 though.

Although both bowls are pleasing, I have to go with option 2. it just seems more bowl like.

hey sigurdur, i suspect that you`re from Iceland. How do you get hold of the wood?? There are no trees in Iceland??? I belive.

Hi Lars. Your suspicion is correct, but I live in Denmark now. In Iceland there are some nice native Birch trees though not very big. Also, some planted Pine that originate from Canada I believe. Iceland is not just lava you know. But even though Denmark has more trees that Iceland, I must buy wood like Walnut. Thank you for watching. Appreciated.
