Hi Lars. Your suspicion is correct, but I live in Denmark now. In Iceland there are some nice native Birch trees though not very big. Also, some planted Pine that originate from Canada I believe. Iceland is not just lava you know. But even though Denmark has more trees that Iceland, I must buy wood like Walnut. Thank you for watching. Appreciated.
