i was watching the sunset today while listening to my chiptune playlist, and this song coincidently came up as i watched the sun begin to sink underneath the clouds. you’ve truly captured the lackadaisical Friday golden hour / sunset vibes immaculately with this piece!
Fearofdark has a style of music that is easily recognizable so when I listened to this music I knew it was not him. by that I don't mean that this music sucks precisely I love it!
Yeah i was thinking the same thing. Youre music sounds great! You could definitely get hired or commissioned for games if you put youre music more out there! Good luck!
@@PROMANIA-q3v Thanks a lot! I’m actually in the process of learning game development for NES, so I look forward to eventually putting my music into my own creations. It’s a slow process since full time job, but I’m sticking through.
@@Sizzyl I simply think it’s cool to make homebrew for old consoles. It’s far from easy, and there are far more modern tools and ways to make retro-looking games without having to deal with the quirks of original hardware. Simply put, it’s very rewarding, and with the NES being one of my favorite consoles, it’s my go to for wanting to do homebrew.
I found this about a year ago, I unfortunately forgot about this but fortunately I remembered, took some hefty efforts remembering but I was pretty lucky I found it. I wish it was more popular so that can actually find it.
lol i dont remember being inspired when i was doing this song, but maybe for listening a lot of city pop and other chiptune music from people i like helped me to achieve these sounds you mentioned
gosto muito do seu trabalho, seu esforço em cada música sua é muito lindo de se ver, e agr eu posso dizer que uma das minhas músicas e artista favorito de chiptune é de uma pessoa q nasceu no mesmo país q o meu :)
What software do you use for creating music and what did you use too create this song? Also i really like this song and Nicecityview, Youre doing a great job and i hope youll have a great future!
Wow! This is an amazing composition. I myself also work with famitracker, which includes me coming up with original concepts to turn into a song or making full on covers. Making chiptune with famitracker is something I've enjoyed doing for the past year and a half. I've been look for ways to improve but don't know what direction to turn to. Do you have any tips or advice?
Practicing sound design and learning some music theory can help a lot for original compositions, you can also see other chiptuners source files to have a look on how they managed to make a certain sound that you liked or some technique that they used in their music (thats what i did lol). You can practice with no expansion chip or at least other expansion chips you prefer and try the new stuff you learned and combine with your own stuff. I am not the best at giving tips or advices but I hope this will be helpful for you :))))
@@gabrieljakerson7344 That does help, thank you very much! Definitely gonna sharpen up my music theory knowledge some more. TQ Jam is another chiptune artist who also composes music. She's got some pretty good songs out and I've been quite inspired by her work but now you're another inspiration to me.
@@Karnage233 to open this file you can use j0cc or dn-famitracker, but if you dont want to download it, i will just put a download link to a wav file instead 👍
A song so good it doesn't even need the triangle channel
and all it took was two different enhancement chips
what a glorious day to have ears 😌i feel like i'm ascending, incredible music!

One of my favorites ever! I listened to this while i was walking through the city while there was a sunset, it's so good!
This is damn good. You should really consider composing for an indie game or something. Really solid stuff here.
