+Joe Thorpe If it did that more than once and it is an MCB-CCTV crossing from a control centre then it might have been some problems with the crossing activation. I doubt the signaller would have lowered it for fun or lowered it early and decided to raise it 3 times. It might have been some faulty wiring connections which have accidentally set it off, the control centre have realised and then raised it again. That's my idea anyway. You were lucky to catch that, its very rare that happens.
@@eastsussexlevelcrossingsan7853 Yeah, it happened to me at Pencoed and Llantrisant West a few times, and the signallers are probably too overcautious.
I controlled then from Sheffield signalling control centre it's about 0.5 miles from the station and this crossing must be about 5 miles away from there.
The malfunction May of happen in the signal box and on the CCTV it look like Adam was very closest to the barrier on signaler

It did that about 3 times and twice we weren't stood close.

+UK Level Crossings I did that at hampden park. It Hangmaned when I walked forward to film the barrier lowering
