Another area of technical specialization is learning about how Enterprise GIS systems work (ArcGIS Enterprise, or Enterprise Open source like Geoserver and Geonode). Learn about servers, networking, ArcGIS enterprise architecture, how the enterprise system routes requests and traffic, how to tune and optimize your enterprise deployment. After you have learned that you can learn how these systems work in the Cloud. Many GIS systems will move to the cloud or are already in the cloud. People that understand Enterprise GIS systems and their components, as well as the IT infrastructure behind the systems are valuable.
Awesome ! From Automation Engineer to Data Scientist now re routing my career path to Trees 🌳 starting from zero, but little by little learning GIS … I’m exited and thanks for your videos , there a not many good ones about explaining GIS in a more human way. Hey as a beginner how to start the preparation to become gis analyst. Can you please make a video I wanna start my career in this because I fine geaography very interesting. Can you please explain roadmap to become gis analyst or gis specialist
Thank you, it corresponds very well with my situation. I started as a geographer and still worry a lot about my developer hard skills level. But I lack ideas about my own projects for portfolio, anybody knows some place I can volunteer for an existing one?
@DrDude-fp6mr from where I can start learning arcgis pro from scratch to become a professional . And I want to know if there is a difference between remote sensing and gis filed
