I have a question for Americans. Do you learn or sing the state song - the song officially recognized by the state - in school?
No they just kinda exist and most people are unaware there state has a antham
I only learned that my state had an anthem a couple years ago. I’ve lived here for nearly 15 years.
I only found out because fallout new vegas had it.
No, they just exist...at least only in California.
Only West Virginia and maybe Texas teach their State Song. However all the US Territories do have it as part Civics(ex. Puerto Rico)
