thanks man! i just found it dure searching tutorials on yt and its so helpful! i can understand everything as a german young boy! thanksgiving from germany! keep that stuff dude!
Hey this video is awesome!! Your videos are so helpful in allowing us to create music on what we have available in the best quality possible. Do you think you will do a video on making lo-fi with samples? I really learned a lot from you other trap sampling video and I was wondering if you might have a different approach to sampling in the lo-fi genre.
The approach wouldn't be anything different other than these fees things. The tempo would be lower obviously to match the what I would assume is a slower lofi track. Lmk if you want me to talk about tempo changing of a sample again to make it match the samples tempo. You can actually have a faster sample slowed down for a lofi track. If an original is fairly fast, then slowing it down (again using that time stretching) can make some cool parts out of it. The drums that you put in too, not the sample but you drum around it, can come from Cymatics' lofi pack, it's super good and easy, I would totally recommend them. Here's the link cymatics.fm/products/lofi-toolkit Hope this helped, again lmk if you want that time stretching info, I'll drop it in the trap video I'm about to upload in a about 2 hours
Appreciate that Arman! You do not need the 2 eqs I put on, you can possibly get it with 1, in this video the 2 eqs got me to where I want, I could have maybe done it with 1 eq, the most important thing is that the end result sounds good for your instruments👍
@@FrogToneMixing Thanks man! Keeping on rockin n rolling and putting out these value bombs to the world!! Would love to hear your music if you have a channel/Spotify,etc. I'm sure a lot of ppl will be looking forward to listening your tunes
Hey hey biggest tip I'd give is to start with high quality sample. Cymatics' has been my goto for them, here's a FREE to download EDM STARTER pack from them. Check that out and ask anymore questions u need! cymatics.fm/pages/edm-starter-pack
Ayy dope! If you already know that stuff, making a good sidechain dance kick is something you could experiment with. If you need, look into my bass vid on the channel and it talks about sidechain, you want the pumping sometimes for dance music. Also, getting things generally louder is also a bmgood idea. Making sure things are compressed, saturated, and not too cluttered will make something like a drop really hit. Also risers before the drop work really well🔥maybe even those incraseing faster snares in combination with risers are a huge part of a drop
I don't know If you are still replying to this video at this point, but I wanted to know if you did anything to the siren bell or tuba automation-wise, because you kinda skipped over them.
Hey! Really nice video, helped out a lot! I have one question - when you copy the piano notes 3 times and you end up with three tracks full of notes, how do I separate these notes, is there a sequence? Like I don't know which to delete from track and which to keep in. Thanks!
Great question man glad to clarify! Which notes you keep and delete are totally up to you and there isnt a set order. What you have to do though is keep or delete different notes between the 3 tracks. If all the notes are the same, nothing will change when you pan them. A good guideline though is to keep the lowest notes in the center, not panned, and the highest ones seperated and panned. Hope that helps! Do I still need to clarify anything??
@@FrogToneMixing Thanks! I will try this method. I used to separate them like the first track had 1/3 of notes and these were high notes, second had mid and third had the lowest, it wasn't too bad but I knew I could do something better. Thanks once again!
Or I have one more question - I have a problem when I pan the separated tracks, do all that stuff, It makes that i hear some sounds on right ear, some on left and it isn't the effect we wanted, so what can i change?
Ok for sure, changing the notes to be more dramatically change, like not having any duplicate notes in the right left and center track could work, it would seperated them more and make them more distinct. Also applying very small effect change to each side helps. I found that adding very small delays or reverbs, changes to existing delays or reverbs, slight eq moves, slight compression, or any other subtle effect could seperated them, therefore making things more wide and destinct. What that what you were asking? Does that help exactly?
Hey, I don’t know if you’re still replying to comments on this video, but if you see this, I’m having trouble finding where you got the Tape Noise from. I don’t see it in the Google Drive, did I miss something?

great video thank you very much🤎
can you please explaine me how to play the lofi drums with mpk mini on soundtrap?
Is this song on Spotify? Me and my kids love it!
The drum beat section. Do you manually place them in? Since they are samples, I guess soundtrap can't do like a piano roll like on the samples?
Yep exactly! I manually put them in in other dates as well, and it's the only way for a custom kit in Soundtrap
how do you add the kit on there it only adds the audio
Thanks for sharing all these tips with us! Much appreciated 🙏🏽. Can u pls elaborate a bit on why do we need to have 2 equalizers in the effects?

hey, I was adding the vibrato and it just did not sound right, any tips?
We need lofi radio hosts
Can you show all the pianos
what is the setting to make in very lofi viby style liike without duplicating ? is there a way for that
How much for that mix and master my boyyyy???
is there a tutorial to remix a song to lofi on soundtrap?
thank you

Thank you! i dont wanna pay ._.
😅ikr! I have the paid version, and the piano is literally the exact same with 1 plugin added, we can get major vibes from the free stuff fs👍
How do I import the Lo-Fi KIT sounds to soundtrap?
Once you download and see the files in your computer, you can just drag and drop them into your Soundtrap project👍
