    Great video! My son had a teacher who would constantly complain about him and she even said, “I don’t know what to do about him. I don’t think he is ready for kindergarten.” Actually he is gifted. Academically he is several grades ahead. Socially he has some trouble. She didn’t know how to help him and blamed him for everything. She rarely even commented on how well he was doing in so many other ways. That experience really discouraged us. Thankfully the following year we enrolled him at a different school and his new teacher saw it right away. She said, “I’m going to find out exactly how I can challenge him and help him.” I believe both teachers and parents must work together to help kids, gifted or not.
