I am certain my daughter has this. She changed overnight 2 years ago and has not been the same since. It was less than a week after her 3rd Covid vaccine. We are seeing a PANS/PANDAS specialist in November. I never heard of this thing prior to last month. Pediatric Neurologist mentioned it. Once I rea=searched it, I am certain. Thank you for your support.

Hi. I escaped UK back in January and now in Germany the doctors are theretening me with court if I say no to SSRI's. And my son is gettig better without any medication but still on NG as afraid to open his mouth. I feel like the doctors between UK and Germany communicated and are trying to corner me again.

You are a legal adult and if you have custody over your child, unless legally cannot force you to take anything you don’t want to. Your son must be vaccinated for disease to attend class but psychs are not mandatory!! They’re out to get your family!!! Do not take anything they give you!!!!!

@@green5028 Thank you. I mean the psychiatry wants to go to court to strip my rights so they can start medication on my son 12 and therapy. The doctors are ok in Germany but I don't want medication. I can agree to neuroleptika and 6 week therapy or it will go to court. I need to move aswell by this time, where my brother lives on Swiss border but it will be still in Germany and they would just move the case. One doctor is trying to help me by saying the child doesn't need drugs but only therapy.

Hey Rose, I tried sharing videos in the German ADHD groups but it did not work, quite the opposite is true, I got shamed and called a conspiracy theorist when talking about micronutrients or alternative types of solutions. Cognitive Dissonance and believing hardcore in authorities is a problem in general in Germany. doctors are blocking off alternative ideas immediately. Very important to mention, that certain minerals need to be measured in the whole blood (like Zinc, Mag, Iron, copper, etc) not only in the serum (if it is low in the serum it is already critically low in the blood cells), and testing for heavy metals is also very important. We call this test (nutrients + metals) 11+6 in Germany and the price is roughly 80-95Euro (not covered by insurance). Most doctors don't know how important that is and subsequently will not inform us. Tests for chemicals are important too because they are everywhere (especially in Americanized countries), but these tests are costly. 230bucks for Formaldehyd, BTX, CKW, Lindan, PAK-Mix, PCB, PCP, Permethrin, Latex, 1,6-Diisocyanatohexan, Phthalsäureanhydrid, Dichlofluanid)

I’m diagnosed with adhd (diagnosed at 11) and depression, as well as ocd. I take Vyvanse and Prozac but wasn’t medicated until I was 24. I am 30 now. ADHD meds for me help but I could go without if absolutely needed. The Prozac I cannot go without- my ocd and depression get too bad and I end up hating life and myself. Prozac makes me who I am outside my mental illnesses. I’m glad my parents didn’t medicate me as a kid for adhd as my school helped me with accommodations and such, and there aren’t as huge of consequences being unmedicated for adhd in my experience as there are being unmedicated for depression and ocd. One makes life hard and I have to find ways to be productive but one is the difference between wanting to be alive or not. I told my husband if our kid has adhd and depression/ocd, I’m open to medication young for the illnesses (such as Prozac,) but I’d rather them be an adult to decide if stimulants are for them. There’s just so many things you can do for kids to naturally help with adhd, but sometimes illnesses therapy alone isn’t enough if your mind isn’t in the right place. Also I never needed stimulants until my career- jobs are much less accommodating than schools lol.

I was diagnosed with ADHD as a child and I took Ritalin. Without a doubt my mother over medicated me as anytime I acted out ect she stated ( you didn’t take your medicine and made me take another one, since she didn’t believe I originally took it). My 5 year old daughter was diagnosed with ADHD & I will start her on Ritalin, because I am experienced with the side effects. We’ve tried behavioral therapy with no change.

Thank you for your channel. On May 7th my 9 year old started to have extreme OCD symptoms they came out if now where. I made her a drs appointment she was seen on May 10th. I asked about Pans and Pandas. The Dr looked he over order blood works and checker her out. May 11th and May 12th she got blister on her hand feet and mouth. We went back to the Dr in May 13 and she was diagnosed with HFM. I told them in think it’s linked to Pans or Pandas. They gave her prednisone for 5 days and Azithromycin do 5 days. She woke up and had a bed wetting accident. I took her back to the Drs May 15th. They tried to get a urine sample to rule out UTI my daughter had extreme anxiety, shaking and rapid heart beat. They ordered more labs for pans and pandas. She is in a OCD loop thinking she is wet after she goes to the bathroom even though she is dry. She likes to tucks her thumbs in her hands, her eye pupils get so big when the anxiety and OCD kicks in. As a parent it’s heartbreaking to see your child go through all this. Happened all of a sudden. Thank you for the information on Pans and Pandas.

What I did to make my life better and more productive was crucial: I was wasting a lot of time in life, spending the day procrastinating, not sleeping early, and not practicing sports. I knew I had ADHD, but I wasn't doing anything to improve. So, I sought out a psychologist. However, it wasn't great at first; actually, I was looking for the wrong type of professional. Then I found a psychiatrist, and he recommended a psychologist who works with cognitive-behavioral therapy. Yes, it can't be just any psychologist; at least the others didn't work for me. Sometimes it works for you. I found out I had the worst diagnosis of ADHD, meaning ADHD with comorbidities, which means I had ADHD and anxiety disorder. This is very important because it could be that a person only has an anxiety disorder, which also causes a lot of bad things. So, my doctor prescribed only 10mg of Ritalin once a day in the morning, and my psychologist used cognitive-behavioral methods. Slowly, she removed some unhealthy habits, such as irregular sleep schedules, lack of daily physical exercise, and excessive use of social media. Additionally, I silenced my WhatsApp. I started practicing physical exercises every day; initially, 20 minutes of walking, but now I exercise for 45 minutes a day, every day. I don't consume alcoholic beverages, sleep a minimum of 7 hours a day, and continue to use only 10mg of Ritalin after breakfast. I don't drink coffee, soda, or alcohol. In fact, you need to want to change. It's not enough to go to the doctor and not use the medications he prescribes, nor is it enough to go to the psychologist and not follow their advice. Don't use medications without consulting your doctor. Here in Brazil, you can only buy Ritalin with a prescription. Find the psychologist that's best for you. If you don't like the first one, find another. I don't know how it is in the United States; here in Brazil, there are private and public psychologists. In my case, my health plan covers the doctor and four sessions per month with the psychologist. I see my psychologist every week; the doctor every three months. My life changed. I believe you need both professionals: the doctor and the psychologist. My psychologist changed all my habits. I believe that in America, you have to pay for medical treatments, right? If you can't afford a doctor or psychologist, I'll give you some advice: avoid coffee or any product containing caffeine, thermogenics, alcoholic beverages, and fatty foods. Drink plenty of water and exercise daily (consult your doctor before starting any exercise). Don't use Ritalin without consulting your doctor; don't use medication on your own. The doctor studied for this; only he can tell you what's good for you. The result of all this was that I finished law school, passed a very difficult exam, and became a lawyer, with a postgraduate degree. I learned to speak two other languages and have a good job. I am a happy person. Having ADHD is not a problem; it's not the end of the world. You can be whatever you want, even with ADHD. People see ADHD as if it were the end of the world. Don't waste your time. You can and are capable of being everything in this life. Today, there are many medications for ADHD, but don't use them without consulting your doctor. If you cannot see a doctor and the psychologist, I, in your country, will tell you what you can do to improve: do not smoke, do not drink alcoholic beverages, never drink coffee, do not use thermogenics or anything else that makes you agitated, drink plenty of water, sleep for at least 8 hours a day (nighttime sleep is more important), engage in physical exercise for 40 minutes a day, even if it's just a walk. ATTENTION: Before exercising, consult a doctor to see if you can exercise; start your physical exercises slowly. Never give up on your dreams; you can be anything you want to be. Today, I am 55 years old and am learning my third language. Next year, I will fulfill an old dream: I will go to university to start my Medicine course. You know what's great about us with ADHD? We have a lot of energy. Count on me; keep going. I hope I've helped you and anyone reading this message. Big hug from Brazil

Last year my son went through a great regression and started exhibiting ocd that consumed his ability to complete basic daily self care. I think it happened after covid.
