José Carioca causes Donald's best side to emerge; when else did you see him so happy and selfless, lost in the glee of a friend visiting and wishing to give him a treat just because? Thanks for the upload!
Fun to know that the Pelican and the Snipe was a scrapped sequence from the Three Caballeros, so it was interesting to see Donald and José giving commentary over it in this episode.
Oh, Donald!!! Good Ol' Joe! Leave it to Donald to make so much chaos making a cake! Wish we had the recipe! I love seeing the little porcelain figurines on the ledge in Walt's office!
I'm so happy to finally see this episode uploaded in full, Donald and Jose are such a fun and likable duo, their antics are just so charming. It's a shame Panchito wasn't featured, a fun Three Caballeros throwback would've made this perfect
That is all the magic of television making, just a superimposed background. Most of Walt’s lead-ins were filmed on a soundstage in a nearly exactly duplication of his office!
A shame that didn’t get a chance to make The honey capers friend Jose, all because of that stupid bee 🐝. Jose could have at ease help him get honey 🍯 and since he was smoking 🚬, he would have blow smoke at him causing the beach to choke.

Donald with Jose and Panchito > Donald with Mickey and Goofy
@@enchilad6799 Very true, what reflected Mickey and Donald's friendship in those times was the bullying they did to each other XD
My sentiments EXACTLY!!!!! For someone so well known for anger, I've never seen him smile more than when he's with his caballeros :')

A cool fun fact, just wish TH-cam wouldn’t have blocked it from the upload. It’s one Disney Treasures Rarities set though, if you can find a copy.
@@keepingwaltindisney Yep, I made a whole review series on the Disney Treasure DVDs featuring animated shorts.

José Carioca is the greatest parrot of all time.

Donald Duck quacks FOREVER 😺👍!
Also, it's great to meow back to your channel 😹😺👍.
Greetings from Vantaa, Finland 🇫🇮.
You can see the water tower from Walt Disney’s office in this episode.
