This video has me crying so much. Bulldogs don't do well seperated from their loved ones. They are a very special breed. I'm glad you guys got her. Most people don't know how intelligent they are. They have them at the bottom of the list for obedience. Obviousley whoever made that list never lived with one. My last one was my service dog. She was brillant ( all of them were that I had). I was at Lowes one day, and a man came over to talk to me and said he was a retired Marine. He trained dogs (German shepards) for war. He pointed down to Lilly, my bulldog and said that is the most intelligent dog there is. I told him I agreed with him.He had one of them since they are the Marines mascots. I've owned a lot of dog breeds and loved all of them. BUT, these dogs are different. They are so smart it's errie. One man said that to me once after owning one. I knew what he was talking about. I am so happy that she found a great loving family. Thank you for adopting her.
Completely agree Pamela. People also sometimes don't realise that intelligence and obedience are different. We try to give Peppa the best life has to offer, because we know she didn't have much before. She really is our world and every decision is made daily with Peppa at the top of our priority list.
@@peppapooch You said it right. Bulldogs have a mind of their own, and they use it! They had me very well trained. I never had any other breed of dog do that.
kudos to you! concerned and responsible owners. i still remember Bullet my bulldog. He is gone already because be got sick just before the pandemic sets in. i jjst content myself now watching bulldogs on YT. just say my "HI!" to Peppa.😀
You’re both lucky to have found one another ❤️🐶 I see her pacing a lot. Is there a window she can look out of? Maybe put the couch under the window. They like to lie on top of the back & look out. Just one of their many quirks ❤️🐶
She does love to people watch. "The watchdog" is just one of the many nicknames we have for her 😆. I'd love to re-arrange the couch for her but our apartment is not suitable and also i worry for her safety from climbing up whilst we are not at home.
@@peppapooch Gotcha. When mine did it we were on the first floor & there was a big enough ledge for them to lie on. Like a cat 😂 but they are the nosiest Neighborhood Watch ❤️🐶
Peppa is absolutely adorable, seeing her reminds me of my bull dog that passed away couple months ago. Every time when I miss my dog I would watch Peppa's video. I just want to thank you and thank Peppa for all the wonderful videos. Hope you will make more videos in the future - please give Peppa a big hug for me -
We’re adopting a 2 yo English bulldog in a few days. What would you say we should do to make the transition to the new home and family go smoothly? Got 3 kids
Congratz! I think it all depends on your Bulldog's personality and you have to work on the best transition process based on that. Peppa was rather shy and timid so i gave her alot of space and let her come to me when she was ready. She also only really warmed to just one of us in the beginning which was me. She wasn't the type to explore new areas so i had to walk around the back yard to spread my scent so that she felt comfortable sniffing around and going potty as you see in the video. Bulldogs are loving and very loyal dogs so separation from previous owners is a big thing. We made Peppa feel welcome by giving her a lot of love and attention whenever she came towards us. Again, we always gave her space and never bombarded her. She was free to come to us whenever she wanted. Every time she did so, i would drop whatever i was doing and all my attention was given to her. Have a great Christmas and enjoy your new Bully!
Peppa is a cuttie one and is settling in as you have put the bone the she sure will settle in well after all the fuss and the thing is whoops about the poops and pees we'll keep going it will be all go
more like they bred her until she had made them lots of money and then they didn't want her. puppy breeders are unscrupulous. don't buy from them. buy from rescue places.
Hi Dean 🥰. Thanks for your comment. TBF they were nice breeders. They took care of Peppa very well but they can only do so much with the time they have. They do not over breed like some others do. They were quite upset to see her go but knew it was the right decision because Peppa would have the life she deserves in her retirement years with us. Not all breeders are unscrupulous but i understand what you say and those bad ones give the others a very bad name.
@@peppapooch I help rescue dogs and the situation with these poor dogs is far bigger than people realise. I am glad Peppa (whom I absolutely love 💓) didn't experience that but she is the exception. 300,000 healthy dogs are put down in the UK every year because the demand for them is not there because too many puppies are being bred. Often these bitches are kept in squalid conditions. It's even worse in Wales! They are used as profit makers! Animals and money don't mix. Thank you for your text and I love your channel.

We got our first bully when I was 10. Many years ago. A repairmen was over once & as kids we loved his tattoo of the Marines bulldog ❤️🐶
