I picked one up today and went straight into the range. Shot ball and hollow point in 50, 90, 94, and 100 grain. Ate everything I fed it. About 250 rounds straight out of the box. More comfortable to shoot than the LCP Max. Great video!

The fact I've yet to hear a single negative thing about this pistol from big reviewers to small has convinced me to get this. I've been in the market for a 380 pistol as well as something for conceal carry that fits my smaller hands and smaller frame and it seems like this a perfect fit.

I've seen one review where the person said they had a problem with the Bodyguard 2.0. It was about a week ago, so I can't remember who it was or exactly what the problem was, but if I remember correctly, the problem he thought might fix itself over time.. Basically he thought it was a breakin issue. Personally, I don't think it was a breakin issue because like you, I hadn't seen anyone else say they had a single problem with it. Once this gun gets on the MD handgun roster, I'm getting one. I've got a Ruger Security 380 and hate it! It has trouble loading and it stove pipes too! I've only got around 50 rounds through it, but I haven't heard of anyone else having this problem. Because of this, I never shoot it! I need to get a few hundred rounds through it to see if the problem persists or not. BTW, the Ruger Security is the only Ruger handgun I own, but when I compare it to my S&W, there's no comparison. The S&Ws are just built better.

I was surprised because I was far more accurate with the LCP max than with the new Smith. And I was also more accurate with the P365 380. That said, the new bodyguard feels much more solidly built than the Ruger or the Sig.

Mag springs are VERY TIGHT so the 10th or 12th round sometimes causes the slide to be out of battery while trying to chamber

To each their own, this is what makes things so great about this country. Great video bro appreciate the review and a thumbs up. Regarding your EDC I looked up the weight of a fully loaded G45 which comes in at 30.34oz. Add in light, compensator, red dot and holster and we are looking at what? 40oz more or less in AIWB. No way me personally I'm carrying that much weight on me. When you start adding in the weight of other stuff lots of us carry (knife, keys, phone, wallet etc) it's just too much for myself. S&W fully loaded with 12+1 mag and a holster will be about 15 oz of insane firepower.

Just bought one! Cant wait to get it! One thing to note is that pocket carry is a better for those that have issues with waist carry. Being over weight, even slightly can make it very uncomfortable and some cases impossible to carry all day. This causes many to pick and choose when to carry. With a pocket pistol this not a problem but you do have to train well because it could be a slower draw.

Another good way to carry a pocket pistol is to get a big enough cell phone holster. The gun will fit in fine, horizontally with the grip up and the flap covering it. With your shirt draped over it no one will suspect you are packing. It is quite comfortable either standing or sitting.

I picked up a Bodyguard 2.0 Tuesday.👍 The way I see it, It is a pocket pistol for a crowded environment where you only got room to pull it out of your pocket and shove it in someones chest to get them off of you, hence the extended steel guide rod. For me, it is going to be my, "slip into my sweat pants pocket when I let the dog out in the yard in case a skunk shows up pistol", much more likely to find me in that situation than a crowded environment.😁 I have been wanting a pocket pistol for a while, been fondling the Ruger LCP Max for over a year, I never took a liking to it... Held this sucker once, and I brought it home.👍 I had only one last round slide lock back in the 5 mags I shot, not sure if it was me or a break in issue, but I am not concerned, she is very tightly sprung and thankfully the Uplula works on .380.👍 Good review and good information on the option, thanks.

This is ...such a horrible take. With the sights and trigger on this gun you can easily hit 10-12 yard shots consistently if you actually practice. Also shoving your gun into someone's chest is just a horrible idea. Unless you have a revolver it can induce a malfunction and regardless of what gun if you put it that closer to an attacker they will try to snag it.

I'm guessing nobody is watching you that closely. People don't see guns everywhere, they don't even think about it, not even when they should. Everyone else is in their own heads, thinking about their own issues, not yours! Get some suspenders with your belt and and wear a covering shirt- perfect base for a gun + holster, much more comfortable and concealed, no sagging pants. Even with a pocket gun like this, it's faster and safer with a proper carry rig.

Do you happen to have a M&P Shield 380 EZ or experience with it to compare the felt recoil? The original bodyguard looked horrible, and once I learned the micros were snappy, I went with the bigger EZ and may aging hands have been happy, though it's a bit large to conceal. Also, was on the verge of getting a Glock G25 for my wife to try (potential nightstand gun) since the recoil on it is supposed to be butter smooth. Everyone raves about low recoil due to phenomenal bore axis alignment and the beaver tail helping hand placement on this BG 2.0, but maybe that's only low recoil compared to snappy G42, Sig 365-380, Ruger LCPs, etc. Once my local ranges have these, probably just going to have to have a rental session with several 380s versus my EZ to compare how they fit me. If the BG 2.0 is serviceable, being so much easier to conceal, the faithful EZ may just become my wife's nightstand gun.
