@terryoliver1410 Terry you're so right bro. Alot of people say some much nonsense about it without actually holding or shooting it. I'm glad you're loving it as much as I am.
I probably have close to 1000 through mine now. I agree, this pistol definitely has a break in period.👍 Mine has ate everything I have fed to it so far, but I am dang glad the UpLula works on 380, I still can't get the last round in either mag without the UpLula🤦♂ As a reccomendation to those that buy an UpLula, get the bright yellow, orange, or pink one.👍They are much easier to locate in a cluttered mancave and the pink one doesn't dissapear at the range.🤷♂🤣
My story with my BG2.0 has been identical with yours after 500 rounds. My 9mm Shield has needed a wear in period too and now after about 2000 rounds it runs like a smooth machine! The only thing I did to my BG2.0 and my Shield was polish the feed ramps and that is just to increase reliability to be honest. On the BG2.0 its 2 sections, just do not remove material just polish with polish compound and a dremel and a cloth wheel. Funny....I have a pink Lula and it just doesn't disappear! lol
@Disastrous.Affect That's awesome D.A, and shoot, that's some good advice because mine definitely does disappear in that dark range 😆 🤣 I'm glad that you're still in love with your bodyguard as I am aswell. Damn, 2k rounds, you didnt waste anytime breaking in that badboy huh 😆. I have a great holster for it that I'll finish testing out and make a video on soon. As always, thanks for your feedback and support bud.
I think most all the negative comments are those who are New Shooters, Female Shooters, people who have weak Hands or People like me who have a Nerve condition in my fingers and hands! Having said this as a 80 year old experienced shooter, I under stood all this stuff that you are talking about and I made adjustments during this break in period for this gun and I now use it as my EDC! I shoot every week at my KGR here in Sunny Florida and Life is Good! Thank you for this great Video!
@stevekatz4372 Hey Steve. Good to hear from you again buddy. I would've never guessed that you are 80 years old and still actively shooting every week. God bless you sir 🙏. I'm glad you're through that Breaking in period and is enjoying your bodyguard 2.0 the way I am. Have you experienced any malfunctions ?
Oops, you forgot to add the people who are not “new, female, or weak” who are still waiting 7+ weeks for it to come back from the factory after repairs.
My son just got one we have been shooting for a long time and this 2.0 is going way left right out of the box I say about two are three foot to the left
@rmax2 Hey Rmax. I'm glad you're enjoying it as much as I am bud. I was very close to getting the LCP Max aswell but it just didn't feel right. Glad I held out. This badboybis in a class above the rest. I found a really good holster for it if you don't want to always pocket carry it. Thanks for your feedback and support. Stay blessed and stay safe 🙏
@jagpilotohio Hey Scott. I'm glad you're enjoying it as much as I am. I was very close to getting the LCP Max but it just didn't feel right. I'm glad I held out. I love this little pocket rocket aswell bud. Did you have any malfunctions with it?
@@R.PTactical zero malfunctions but only have 100 rounds through it. The twelfth round is impossible to load without a mag loader but that isn’t a “malfunction”. It shoots a bit low left like everyone else’s apparently. The blacked out rear sights will need to be changed for me because I can’t see them at all in low light. My up close vision isn’t great with my glasses on. I will find some fiber optics or tritiums.
@jagpilotohio Oh nice. Yeah seems like the same small inconvenience issues like mine and most other people. Still not a deal breaker for me and I'm happy with it. A small suggestion about the mag is, I loaded it up and left it fully loaded for a few days in the safe and that loosen up the spring in the mag and it became alot easier to load by hand. Thanks for your feedback and support bud. Stay blessed and stay safe 🙏 P.S. I found a really great holster for it if you're interested, check out my review on it.
@indysbest9851 Oh nice Indy, so it's just like carrying a baby Shield plus right 😆. Thanks for your feedback and support pal. Stay blessed and stay safe or be deadly 🙏
Nice. It's an amazing carry gun. I really like the .380 and think it's an excellent carry round in general. Mix that with Underwood Xtreme Defenders though and a .380 can be more powerful and more effective than just about any other round in 9mm. I'd carry them myself if they weren't so expensive. I think their greatest ability is their barrier blindness. You can shoot them through sheet metal, glass, plexiglass, cloth, leather, drywall and countless other things and have them still penetrate just as well without over-penetrating like JHP can do. I've never seen another round that compares, except the other "Xtreme" rounds they used to make (like the Xtreme Cavitators and Xtreme Penetrators), but they weren't quite as good for self defense.
@thomascooper7219 Hey Thomas. If you're asking between the shield or the bodyguard 2.0 the it's really up to you and what you're using it for. I have both and They're both fantastic, reliable pistols. The shield is compact and fits on your waist very well. The bodyguard 2.0 is more of a micro pocket pistol for more of a discrete, deep concealment carry. It's really up to the individual. I suggest you go to the gun store and get a feel of each one in your hands and if possible rent then at the range and see which one you're more comfortable with. Keep me posted on what you decide. Thanks for your feedback and support. Stay blessed and stay safe 🙏
@@R.PTactical It's so hard to recommend guns to people, especially if you don't know precisely what they want/need/expect. I still try to do my best and almost always recommend several guns, but sometimes people want you to tell them exactly which gun to get, but I have so much trouble telling anyone to get a specific gun.
I have the Shield 9 Plus. It has the same stiff springs out of the box characteristics as your Bodyguard 2.0. Your solutions are great and they worked as well for me as they did for you.
@voiceofreason9238 Hey Voice of reason. Nice, I'm glad it worked, another thing is to lube it and leave it racked back in the safe for a few days. That also helps loosen up the springs on stiff recoil springs. Merry Christmas to you and your family bud. Thanks for your feedback and support 🙏
I bought this for my wife and she is very discouraged with how stiff everything is. I worked on racking the slide, pushing down the slide release, and the safety. It seems to be loosening up some. Just everybody be prepared. Straight out of the box this pistol is STIFF! Can't wait till it runs like yours.
@yanceyrobertson2414 Hey Yancey. Yes sir it's definitely not easy to manipulate at 1st. I would suggest you to lube it, rack it back and leave it racked in the safe for about 2 weeks and same with the mags. Fully load them and leave them in the safe. After 150 rounds or so it'll definitely loosen up to where it's much more manageable. Please stay in touch and let me know the results 🙏. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your family bud
Good morning brother in Arms. Hey buddy I just got this gun brand new Sunday and I am very excited for it. When I 1st opened it & I was messing around with it, damn everything felt so damn hard to move or rack the slide I actually thought the gun was broken, but after watching so much videos including this one well now I understand why. Thanks 🙏 for sharing man. Great information!! You got yourself a new supporter here. I would appreciate support boss man. Merry Christmas 🎄🎁 to you and your love ❤️ ones!
@adrianmateogunz Demilo!!! Lol. Good morning my brother. I'm glad it was helpful, alot of people that got theirs encountered the same Stiffness so I had to make a video to explain it just need a break in period. A suggestion is to oil the slide, rack it back and leave it like that for about 2 weeks, that helped loosen it up aswell. I just checked out your page and subbed back fam. I appreciate the feedback and support 🙏. Stay blessed and stay safe or be dangerous. Merry Christmas to you and your family aswell.
@AliceAdams-cx8sz awesome. I'm glad it helped. It was meant to be helpful and lay out both sides so everyone can decide if those are things they want to deal with or not.
Thank you very much. Two other concerns, no rail for light/laser (the previous version came with laser), and the trigger guard appears small; would your trigger finger fit while wearing gloves during winter? Thanks!
@quartamile Hey Quartermile. My guess is that in order to keep it the size and dimensions that it is while making the trigger guard larger they couldn't accommodate for a light/laser. Yes, I wear a size Large in gloves and it fits comfortably. Thanks for your questions and support. Stay blessed and stay safe or be deadly 🙏
The whole gun is thinner than a pic rail. Likely crimson trace will offer a trigger guard laser at some point for this. As for gloves I can get my fancy dress leather gloves in there (although not completely effortlessly) but I do have smaller man hands. That said most are just using this for summer carry.
Good demo and points. Possible issues and fixes: The recoil spring comes off the guide rod cap end. That's why it has so much resistance or won't go. Use a flat head screwdriver or punch to push the spring back under the guide rod cap end. If it's faulty and out of spec will need replacement. Disassemble your mags. Check and clean the spring and follower. S&W followers are known for QC issues. Burrs and horns get stuck in the mag tube holes and the spring can bind up. Clip/sand off the excess lip or burrs that get caught.
@BAdventures Hey BAdventures. I appreciate you taking time to explain that. I heard the same thing from other people aswell. I don't have any issues with the 4 mags I have but if it does occur I'll definitely try that out. Thank you for your feedback and support bud. Stay blessed and stay safe 🙏
@phyzixguru Hey Clarence. Yes sir, you'll have to use some elbow grease initially for her bud. But I assure you it'll loosen up in time. Thanks for your feedback and support. Stay blessed and stay safe 🙏
I really enjoyed this video and you're so right about everything you discussed. Mine is/was exactly like you talked about. Like I told you, I'm older and not as strong as I use to be and I still have trouble with racking the slide and have to use a loader to load the mags. But, I'm willing to live with all this as I love the little gun so much. Keep up the great work and video's. Hope I do get notified on all your video's as I really do enjoy them. I was in the sporting goods business for over 35 yrs, sold many, many, guns, millions of rounds of ammo, etc., over all those yrs. and been shooting a gun since Dad gave me my 1st b.b. gun at age 5.
@jerrepeak9083 wow that's awesome bud. For mine, it really loosened up after roughly 150 rounds and racking it at home to where it much more manageable, Maybe you should ask your son to rack it a couple times for you to loosen it up a bit. Just a suggestion Jerre. What the name of the sporting good store and what state are you in? I appreciate your kind words buddy, thank you.
@@R.PTactical Thanks for the suggestion on racking the slide, but sadly I don't have any living family left. I'll just have to do it myself, but again, thanks. My sporting goods store's name was Anniston Sporting Goods in Anniston, Ala. I actually live in Oxford, Ala., though which is very close to Anniston. Take care, keep up the good work one the video's my friend !
@jerrepeak9083 Oh nice, Sweet home Alabama!! Sorry to hear that my friend. Another trick that might be helpful is if you put some CLP liquid in the slide rails, rack it back and leave it racked back for a week or so that might help. If you try it out please let me know how it turns out. Have you experienced any malfunctions with any ammo ?
@@R.PTactical Thanks for the tip on the slide rails and keeping it racked back for a while. I will try that and let you know. I bought an extra 10 & 12 round mag and I have them loaded with several shells (can't get them fully loaded) and am going to leave them loaded for a while to try and help with the spring tension problem. So far I've shot Federal, Fiocchi, & PMC fmj's....90 & 95 grain and Federal Hydra Shok, Hornady Critical Defense, Fiocchi XTP, & a cheap Ammo brand hollow points. I'm guessing I've shot about 200 rounds and I have had no malfunctions of any kind with all this ammo. So far I love this little gun about as well as any I've ever owned....and I've owned quite a few over the years. Have a good evening my friend !
@jerrepeak9083 Oh ok. That's nice.yoid you ever hear of uplula mag loader? That's what I used to get the extra rounds. It really helps but I don't want you to put to much pressure on your hands bud, if you try and all you can get in is 6-8 rounds that's should be enough 😉 l. Did you receive my reply to your other message regarding the holster?
I’ve never bought a carry gun with a safety, but it’s the only one they have in stock by me. If I just leave it off, is it pretty difficult to engage by accident if I decide to pocket carry in a little pocket holster? Is this a legitimate worry, or not really? Thanks in advance.
@honkhonk1555 Hey honkhonk. Yes the safety if very stiff. You literally have to disengage it for it to come off so there's no way for it to accidentally come off as a pocket carry. I don't know if that's why S&W made it so stiff but I had to oil it and constantly press it over 50 times to break it in to disengage it more comfortably. Try it out at the one they have in the store and you'll see. Keep me posted on your thoughts of it bud.
Two things for me why is the dovetail so hard to move mine shot left I had a heck of a time moving it and the recoil spring I have to fiddle with it to get it back in is there a easy way love mine as well
@terryholloway9930 Hey Terry. I have over 700 rounds through mine and trust me, it loosen up over time with use. Thanks for your feedback and support bud. Stay blessed and stay safe 🙏
@manac2334 Hey Manac. I appreciate that, trust me, after roughly 150-200 rounds that tight slide will loosen up considerably to where it's much more manageable. Another trick for the slide is to lube it, rack it back and leave it racked back in the safe for a week or so and that'll help loosen the spring to. I really do love mine. Have you had any malfunctions with any ammo? Thanks for your feedback and support bud.
Thanks for the information. I've had a Glock 42 for years and I've been considering buying 2x Bodyguard 2.0 as a replacement for me with a better grip and more capacity and as a soft-shooting, easy-to-carry/handle choice for my partner. Doing the research now, hoping to get some hands on with a rental later.
@ShooterQ Hey ShooterQ. In my opinion it's an amazing little pocket rocket and I love mine but it's not for everyone, some of them is to stiff and don't like certain brands of ammo. I would advise you to get your hands on one to test out before purchasing it to see if it's right for you and your needs. I was really close to getting the G42 aswell but glad I held out for this badboy. Please stay in touch and let me know how you feel about it after you test one out. Thanks for your feedback and support bud
You guys dont know that recoil springs have "service life" which is composed of "cycles" usually but NOT always the smaller the platform the more frequent you have to chamge recoil spring assemblies...a recoil spring is NOT something you want "loose" and easy to rack..its purpose is to slow the slide down from a 20k psi or so explosion going off in your chamber...the recoil spring slows the slide down from battering the frame....im sure Smith and Wessons engineers have put the right spring poundage in the bodyguard 2.0....trust me you do NOT want a loose or "weak" recoil spring...its advisable to call Smith and Wesson and ask how many cycles your recoil spring is good for...im sure its likely good to replace them around every 2000 round (cycles) intervals or around that number for preventative maintenance... definitely something to think about...especially if you plan on shooting "hot" defense ammo ✌🏾 tiny platform firearm with a loose or easy recoil spring shooting a stout cartridge like a 380(not a 22lr) is a bad combination for durability
@kevinrichardson8859 Hey Kevin. All of that makes sense and I agree however I never said to do anything to have a "loose spring", but fresh out the box it way to difficult.Seems like you don't have one or else you would how hard it is to rack the slide. Why wouldn't you want the Rack loosened up to be manageable? Some 1911 and 2011 slides can be racked with 1 finger and that runs like butter. Thanks for your feedback and support. Stay blessed and and safe 🙏
It loosens after like 200 rounds fired. Likely not realistically reducing the life of the firearm that much dry racking it to loosen the spring. Also this is not rated for +p so you shouldn't be shooting hot defensive ammo.
Also for reference the LCP Max has a lighter slide than even a broken in BG. This is also a tilting barrel action, not blowback, so it's not sending all that pressure into the slide. Much of that energy is spent unlocking the barrel.
600 rounds and all is good. My bg 2.0 has loosened up. The only thing i don't care for is it requires rear sight removal to access the striker channel. Kinda a pita to clean. Thanks for your review.
@raymccreary7120 Hey Ray. That's awesome bud, what kind of ammo did you shoot? Yeah that was definitely a bad design by S&W but hopefully it's not a deal breaker for you. Thanks for your feedback and support my friend. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your family.
Yep, dry fire and rack a few hundred times is faaaar cheaper than going to the range. Pro tip, get a pair of gloves (thin leather is best) to save your fingers on those sharp serrations on the slide.
@demandred1957 Hey Damanddred. Yes sir, after all that racking it definitely loosened up to where it's more manageable by hand now. After that break-in period then it's time to head to the range for the real fun. Do you have the BG 2.0 aswell?
Hey RP, great insightful review! Good suggestions including the UpLula, leaving your mags loaded, racking slide and exercising safety. Racking slide is also good exercise for the shooter! I asked a CCW instructor how to handle the difficulty of racking slides, and his answer was "lift weights!" The stiff return spring is worth it for the softer recoil. For those who simply can't handle the the hand strength issues, I've been very happy with the small size, accuracy, reliability, simplicity, low recoil, ease of racking and acceptable ballistics of my Kel-Tec P32 in 32 Auto equipped with an Armalaser TR1 instant-on laser.
Hey Geoffrey. I appreciate your compliments bud. That CCW instructor is a ball breaker huh haha. I'm glad to see you're enjoying yours as much as I am mine. I must say mine loosened up tremendously after roughly 200 rounds to where it's way more manageable now. Man you seem to have a nice P32 setup there. Did you experience any malfunctions with any ammo? Thanks for your feedback and support pal. P.S I found a company that makes a great holster for it, here's the link if you're interested: th-cam.com/video/iaRwaixsRyg/w-d-xo.htmlsi=O7y5T6trG1ysjw07
@@R.PTactical Thanks RP. I have had no problems with about 6 common types of 32 auto ammo, trying the cheap stuff including Aguila 71 grain and Federal American Eagle 71 grain. I settled on European ammo because 32 auto is more accepted in Europe and their ammo is supposed to be a bit hotter. #1 Fiochi and #2 Sellier & Bellot. The P32 is reputedly almost 100% reliable if you stick to FMJ and avoid hollow points which are shorter and subject to Rimrock jams in the magazine. The 32 cartridges are semi rimmed and were designed for pistols by John Moses Browning before semi auto pistols were developed about 1903. Nice holsters, but after cataract surgery removes the ability to focus on sights, I add lasers to all my pistols. Yea! Yesterday Armalaser and I outshot my 82nd Airborne weapons expert buddy at the gun range! The addition of the laser makes it hard to fit holsters.
@geoffreyarnold7292 Oh ok, that's some great information, thanks for sharing with me. Wow that's huge, congrats on out shooting the expert!!! Thanks for your feedback and support my friend. Stay blessed and stay safe 🙏
@mitchellhawkins1063 Hey Mitch. Thanks for checking out my content and taking time to leave me some feedback. It's a great gun for me but it's not for everyone. I don't mind the breakin period nor putting in some elbow grease but thats a deal breaker for some. Do you have a bodyguard 2.0, if so have you experienced any malfunctions?
Absolutely the best small pocket gun I’ve ever had. Big hands little hand it works perfectly. Magpul has rubberized zipper utility pouch that fits it perfectly along with an extra magazine an inside zip for extra goodies. It’s flat and whether protected 20 bucks. As to solve the loader issue for about 14 bucks EZLOADER Markets a non-mechanical loader that is made especially forThe 2.0 Bodyguard. Evidently the utility pole just do come in a couple of colors. By the gun by the solutions and you’ll have a happy family
The utility pouch from Magpul also has space for the flat pocket pistol sleeve pistol holder at most carriers used to reduce the pistol print in your pocket. It’s flat and doesn’t print even without it that pistol sleeve Does stay behind in your pocket when you draw. Do it guys get all three you’ll be real happy.
@terryoliver1410 Yup I totally agree. Even with the minor issues people are complaining aboutlothsi gun is still the best pocket pistol EVER and it's not even close. What ammo did you use in it and did you have any malfunctions?
@@R.PTactical i’ve set shot a number of personal defense rounds and all are fine. I can’t remember the name of the round right now but there is a copper polymer blended round that looks like a full metal jacket with three serrations the closet to twist. Here in Michigan Dunhams sells them for 1995 on sale. Always on sale 25 rounds per box. I also Stack a few boxes of those away too. It spins delivering huge kinetic energy to the initial impact and then spirals in without any sheep change like most hollow points would
@terryoliver1410 Hey Terry. Yeah that's a great deal for $20. I would definitely load up on those. I always hear about the deals in Dunhams. I want to visit one day. Thanks for the feedback and support bud. Stay blessed and stay safe 🙏
Taurus G3 has a two part ramp as well, I just removed the coating on the grip ramp and polished it then polished the barrel ramp. 5-10 mins with dremel. feeds awesome if the ramps are an issue for anyone. nice video brother. little small for my hands but I see the appeal.😁👍
@Barikade Hey Baeikade. I heard a few people said they did the same polish trick to this one aswell so I'm going to donit and then retry those gold dots to see if it runs better. You sir must have some big bear paws 🐾 😆 😂 because even with gloves on it fits my hands 😆. Taurus don't get enough love, they put out some quality Firearms in mu opinion. How do you like your G3?
The 2 part ramp. Both areas metal? Haven’t held or looked one over in person yet . First I’ve heard about 2 part ramp & interested to hear if a polish takes care of some or all of the guns ammo appetite and a couple ppl had to bump it back into battery with certain ammo .Ramp polish might kill 2 birds with 1 rock. ??. I have done some ramp polishing on a few guns through the years.just a little bit at the time. And that was only when I was seeing a lot of marks on the ramp. With about everything leaving rub marks from nosing in .Not just a wide hollow point digging in hard & maybe even causing malfunctioning. When im seeing traces of copper wash from even the most tapered round nosed range ammo rubbing ,I do a little polishing. Even hand polishing with a rag/paste polishes & a finger have been just the ticket for a gun or 2. Just needed that tiny little bit of extra elbow grease,TLC & personal attention that they don’t get when they are getting pumped out as fast as possible on an assembly line. That goes for a bunch of products. Not just guns.Give whatever it is a little extra fitting and finishing & it can be mo better . The devil is in the details.…+ dk if you heard about some of the first ones that hit the shelves.?.Apparently,SOME,of the followers in the mags were catching on the round count reference windows, for some ppl.(mainly when loading I think, around 3rd rd especially.?.maybe while loading & shooting .?.?Sure they would most likely eventually wear down on their own,but can be disassembled and snip or file off that corner .S&W supposedly found out about it and already fixed that issue. Worth checking out & wouldn’t take but a second. I found some rust on the inside of a sig 12 rd 365 mag on accident recently.Trying out a pinky extension and happened to notice it. A lot of sweat had been going in there for a while. Cleared it up,put heavy penetrating oil (pb blaster)on it for a day,day and a half, wiped it down good and went back with a thin thin layer of WD on one & some dry lube made by WD on another. Have checked and no more rust on either. Haven’t shot enough through both of those mags yet to see if there is any difference between the dry & regular WD. Don’t really think either was necessary,or that either will be getting any more dirty than they would’ve without any of that stuff. But the penetrating oil,I think that was a good move. I checked a bunch of different mag after I found the rust on the 365xl.Nothing.. but hadn’t carried those others near as much & a lot less -no IWB wear with the others. This new S&W,Checking out /liking/disliking any particular holsters yet??thx again & take care. Enjoy!
@wbwills2 Yes and No, Marry. While both parts are metal, the barrel metal is a little more dense than the lower half so even tho both are metal, it's 2 different types of metal. However I will still try out that polish trick to see if it works and let everyone know my findings. I've tried out 3 different brands of holsters and I didn't like them for various reasons. I'm currently testing out a new hybrid holster and really liking it so after another week of testing it out, if it continues to be a great holster I'll make a video of it(stay tuned) 😉. Thanks for your comments and support my dear. Have a wonderful day
You are right. I have these early problems. I just shot 120 rounds, first time. I am going to take all your advice and am confident it will get better , Thanks !
@andrewclix..photography3146 Hey Andrew, after roughly 100 rounds mine loosen up and was much more manageable but I've heard people say theirs took 200 rounds. I have over 700 rounds through mine and it's running flawlessly. I did clean and oil it after 400 rounds. I hope yours loosen up and works as intended. Please keep me posted on how it's running over time. I appreciate your feedback and support bud. Stay blessed and stay 🙏
Great video. I can really relate to what you’re saying. I started shooting in 2020 and most of my pistols are Sig Sauer including P365, P226, P938, P229, P320 even an Sig 1911 but others ranging from Colt to CZ to name a few. But I purchased a S&W M&P 2.0 .40 Cal early on because I wanted a .40 and it’s all I could find at the time. As a new shooter I totally hated it. Nevertheless, after range time and several pistol courses and learning to properly grip a pistol ( I didn’t know and didn’t know I didn’t know) how to grip a pistol. Now S&W 2.0 15:21 M&P .40 is one of my favorites. I also recently purchased the MSX that I heard so much negativity about and I love it. I’m also gonna purchase this one as soon as I can find one. I’ve discovered that for me and my taste in pistols, S&W makes a quality pistol that can hang with anybody. I own 3 1911s - a Dan Wesson Specialist, a Kimber Ultra Carry II 3” and an Sig and virtually all but the Sig required a minimum 500 round break-in period because they’re so tight from the factory; all eventually loosened up perfectly. Sounds like this little pistol has tight tolerances like a 1911 and will break in just fine. Still I really appreciate your patient insights I found then very helpful and true to my experience with S&W as well as other pistols generally. 😅 I can’t wait to get one on the range. Also, my current pocket carry .380 is an Sig P238 SAS and it was very tight as well. The safety was especially hard to engage but like you said I just watched TV and manipulated it and range time loosened everything else. I literally expect to have to work with a pistol out of the box to get to where I want it.
@jameslogan6127 Hey James. Wow, in just 4 years you've seem to aquire an awesome collection there. I see we're alike and have similar taste in pistols. I really the the sig sauer collection aswell. My EDC is a sig P365 Xmacro and I got the BG 2.0 for the times where I can't carry the Xmacro but to be honest most of the time I just carry both because the BG just fits so well in the pocket and so compact and comfortable that it's like not there at all. I'm also on the lookout for another one since my wife loves it, her edc is the sig Rose but after playing around with the BG she says it's a better fit for her. When you get your BG please let me know your thoughts of it. Thank you for your feedback and support brother. Stay blessed and and safe 🙏
@@R.PTactical I will indeed. Interestingly my wife got me started and wanted a pistol so for our anniversary I got her a P365 XL and we went to training together and got our CC permit using the same pistol. That was awkward and she didn’t like me taking hers to the range all the time so I purchased a P365SAS and the rest is history. 😂
@jameslogan6127 Oh man that's a wonderful story Jimmy. You're a lucky man, my wife isn't into guns but I insisted that she get her permit and carry in her purse just in case, in these crazy times you just never know. P.S. let me know when you get your bodyguard 2.0, I found a company that makes really great holsters for it, in fact they make great holsters period.
One issue I ran into was that there was a piece of plastic on the 12 round follower that was preventing loading the mag past three rounds. A nail clipper solved the problem….snip snip……cured.
Hey Foto. Wow that's such a coincidence. My friend Jerre had the same issue and said he did the same thing. Took a nailclipper and clipped off the "tit" from the follower. I'm glad that worked out for you. Thanks for sharing your feedback. Have you had any malfunctions or anything else wrong with yours?
My solution to loading the magazines was the Uplula. I also left rounds in the mag to help with breaking them in. It's easier to load but I'm not to the point where I can load that 10th and 12th round, but I will get there. Great video!
You are correct, load your mags full like you said and just leave them like that to break in ...after a couple weeks of doing that and a few hundred rounds through mine I am able to load my mags now by hand
@pendude1256 Hey bud. Yup, it's one of those cases of time will help. After a few more weeks of sitting fully loaded will help even further. Thanks for your feedback and support. Stay blessed and stay safe 🙏
@johnfreshwater1668 Hey John. I'm glad you're loving it as much as I am. It really is in a class all by itself. How many rounds do you have through it bud?
Good review - I had all the same problems early on, but usage has resolved them all. One other issue I encountered - the double slide spring was difficult to get in place. I had to maneuver it around a bit to get it to seat on the barrel. Better now, but still a minor issue.
@donwhite1442 Hey Don. Yes sir, putting rounds through it definitely did break it in nicely for me aswell. I haven't encountered any issues with getting my spring to sit properly but I'm glad you got it resolved. Thanks for your feedback and support pal. Stay blessed and stay safe or be deadly 🙏
@jimt2853 Hey Jim. Sorry to hear that, I just field strip mine again but had no issues landing that spring back on point, I'm guessing it's a certain batch that went out. Tricky isn't to bad as long as it goes back in thankfully it goes in eventually. Thanks for the feedback and support. Stay blessed and stay safe 🙏
Just bought one earlier today. Going to take it to the range tomorrow after I check the feed ramp for the ledge. I was able to get all 10rds in the flush mag but was only able to get 11 in the 12rd. Time will tell
@nathanbrinson8489 Hey Nate. Congratulations on getting one of the best (if not the best) pocket rockets ever!! That's my opinion. Please stay in touch and let me know how the range trip goes and what brand of ammo you try out and if you have any malfunctions. Just so you know i had a few malfunctions in my 1st 30 rounds for the break in period but the rest went smoothly after.
@@R.PTactical Took it to the range. Ran 250rds of ball ammo flawlessly. Tried a cheap box of hollow points and it would ftf every single time. Now I’ll be on the hunt for a box of hollow points that will run. It’s a great shooting gun
@nathanbrinson8489 My man!! That's awesome. I have a video testing different brands of 380 Self defense ammo dropping Sunday but I'll let you know now. I run hornady critical defense, over 100 rounds with no malfunctions, pick up a box of those bud
If you have trouble loading mags take mag apart the follower is too long it hangs on the hole in mag take a nail clipper take a little off each side it will load fine thanks for video enjoyed it
@terryholloway9930 Good tip Terry. In my case it was extremely tight to load but eventually it did loosen up over time and is much more manageable now. Thanks for your feedback and support bud. Stay blessed and stay safe 🙏
Can’t wait to try one- if it’s anything like the shield plus then I think I’ll like it. anyone who has issues with racking a slide or loading mags should consider trying the ruger security 380
@johnnail532 Hey John. It's exactly like a micro version of the shield plus that what I love about it. It doesn't feel like a toy gun like some of the other pocket pistols. It feels like a more compact version of the shield plus, they could've just named it the baby shield 😆. Please let me know your thoughts when you do try one out. Thanks for your feedback and support bud. Stay blessed and stay safe 🙏
@honkhonk1555 some people don't think 380 is enough, I never heard anyone that wants to get shot by it tho lol. It's more than enough to stop a threat in my opinion. Stay blessed and stay safe 🙏
@@R.PTactical you’ve heard the saying slow is fast, well my motto is small is big.😁 Seriously though, what I try to explaining to people is that many, if not most SD situations are ended by just the presentation of a gun without even firing, so having even the smallest thing that goes bang is very big if you’re ever in such a situation. I also live in the deep south where it’s hot as fuk most of the year, and I love to pocket carry because I believe it gives me an advantage of already having a full purchase on my weapon while walking in shady places like parking lots and gas stations without anyone even knowing. On the occasional cold spells we have, a hoodie Is almost always enough, and that’s when I pull out something like my ruger max 9 which I’ll also pocket carry in my hoodie pocket. I love pocket carry so much, and it’s not cause I’m a fat ass, it’s because I find it to be the superior option especially today with the amazing pistol sizes and capacities we have. My original LCP was my deep concealment, and it may still remain as such, but I have to admit, this BG 2.0 is much smaller and lighter than I thought it would be.
@honkhonk1555 Well said HH, what part of the south you're in, Texas?. You're so right on everything u said. No one want to be shot by any caliber bullet so just the mere sight of a gun will deter most assailant. I'm not going to lie, I bought the BG 2.0 for the rear occasion when I can't carry my Xmacro but I find myself carrying it more than the Xmacro, sometimes I get dressed and carry the Sig just out of habit and still throw the BG in my pocket just because it's so comfortable, it's like it's not even there.
This is why I love the S&W pistols. It was a very similar thing with my Shield 2.0 and Shield +. When I first got them all the controls were stiff and the mags didn't want the last round. But after a break in period, everything turned out great. Guns that feel great in the hand and are super reliable. A long time ago I was out in the desert shooting with a buddy and he handed me his LCP. It was the first time I shot a 380. He was having an issue with the mag release getting activated while firing. I tried it and didn't have that issue, but it did not feel good or natural in my hand, and it felt more like a toy than a gun to me. Not pleasant or fun to shoot, and it felt kind of flimsy. After that I was extremely interested in owning a 380 but there was never any particular gun that made me want to buy until this came out. I've been jonesing to get my hands on one since they came out and I bought a new Bodyguard 2.0 yesterday. Haven't shot it yet, but I'm expecting it to be on the same level as my Shields, an excellent gun after the break in period. It feels great. Great texturing, good trigger, can easily slip it into a pocket. I think it's amazing that the fit is so tight, and seemingly designed to be that tight out of the factory so that once it breaks in, it is a solid machine. Thank you Smith & Wesson for continuing to provide the market with reasonable, innovative, and reliable guns that directly meet the needs of so many gun owners.
Hey Carlos. I can tell you're a huge S&W fan just like me. Over the past few years they have definitely stepped their game up and provide some great Firearms. I also feel the same about the LCP max. It just didn't feel right in my hands. I was really close to buying one since I wanted a pocket pistol but thank God I held out and the BG 2.0 came out. Thank you for your feedback and support bro. Stay blessed and stay safe 🙏 P.S. I found a company that makes some really great holsters for it. I have a video on it, when you have time check it out and there's a directly to the site.
This gun is a good one. Going to be my first 380 ever. Like to let the new hot guns go for about a year to get past any hiccups that might pop up. So being patient for now. You mentioned you liked some of the S&Ws ,especially the last couple years.. I agree. Me too..Ever tried a 2.5”-2.75”,no dash 19 or 66?not JUST those 2 .A bunch of the older models. Simi autos too…Pretty sweet!! My brother got into the S&W 2.0s when they first came out.Bought a compact & the full sized .Really was enjoying them and asked me if I wanted a revolver he’d gotten from a pawn shop. He didn’t have to ask me twice! One of my favorites to this day. It’s a 2.5”,66-2.the original black rubber pachmyers were making a black gummy mess from years of solvents, oils ect and I put a set of smooth red & black /wood looking G10 VZs on it. Heads up…Those grips are made for newer mim guns and need some hand fitting unless a gap about the width of a credit card doesn’t bother you.Found out about that after buying them. Small print on return policy,%20 restock fee + shipping.Called them up & didn’t love their attitudes .Got a little pissy when I suggested that they mention the made to fit mim guns on their website. At least in the small print they are so fond of.I was being a little bit sarcastic by that point. Took 2 hrs on the phone and pictures/videos to get it out of them. I was not the first person to have that issue. Can’t stand ppl beating around the bush. Anyhow, word to the wise…. LOK is the way to go for any G10 grip needs you may have. No small print & great customer service!have some of those in the thin checkered, red & black /wood look on a beretta …Fine grips. Feels like a different gun. Way better. Back on the subject .thx for sharing about this one. It’s a good one for sure.
@wbwills2 Hey Mary. I don't blame you, I usually let the new toys settle in for awhile to work out all the kinks before purchasing one myself but to be honest with this one I was so impressed with it's size and feel that I had to have it in my collection. Your brother is awesome for giving you that 2.25, 66-2. I like my grips to be tight and secure as possible so again I don't blame you for reaching out to that company and they should definitely have that in writing somewhere on their website even if it's in (tiny print). Glad you were able to finally resolve that issue and I appreciate you sharing those informations with me. Thank you for your feedback and support. Stay blessed and stay safe 🙏
@michaelhoward8072 Hey Mike. Yes that's absolutely true, there's a slight ledge by the 2 part feed ramp that not all ammo seem to pass through leggings. I have another range video out with some types of hollowpoint brass that I tested out. Check it out if you're interested but in short, I run hornady critical defense in mine and it runs great. Thanks for your question and support bud. Stay blessed and stay safe th-cam.com/video/bWDOKJQfwVw/w-d-xo.htmlsi=BlBtcIxd1Gcw7R8X
I'm thinking about getting the 2.0,it's October 2024, how do you know when a gun is manufactured? Hopefully if recently manufactured they would have most of the bugs out. I've been looking at the 2.0 or the lcp max. Sometimes reviews can be confusing.
@Crazycat4me Hey Ed. It was released March of this year 2024. I was close to getting the LCP max but glad I waited and ended up getting the BG 2.0 and I love it, even with those minor bugs I satisfied with it the way it is. I drifted the sights over to be on point and have over 500 rounds without any issues so no complaints here bud, I carry it everyday even when I have my Xmacro on me. Thanks for the question and support bud. If you do decide to get it please share your thoughts on it. Stay blessed and stay safe 🙏
Just ordered mine 2 days ago. Can't wait to get it. Im 64 and my 9's are a little chunky. like the deep concealment of this. Speaking of hard to load mags. I have the Springfield HC pro, Ive got well over 2000 rds through it and those mags are still way stiff. I always use my Uplula for it.
@tedross2424 Hey Ted. I'm 40 and even i feel the same way haha, I love this little baby. Please keep in touch and let me know your thoughts of it when you receive yours. P.S. I found a company that makes a great holster for it if you're interested I have a video on it on the channel. Thanks for your feedback and support pal
@tedross2424 Yes sir that's absolutely correct. The owner named Thomas is such a cool, down to earth guy that makes a great holster. I have a full video explaining the holster and the company is you're interested
Right now, I have 590 rounds through this gun with no problems, other than me riding the side stop. I got another 12R Mag for the Gun. love the way it shoots & carry It's the only gun I've been carrying since I bought it, I do wish the Orange was a little brighter on the front site, but it's not a big deal. This gun has definitely become my summer carry
@quoththeraven7 Hey Judah, are you saying it replaced the spot of your Xmacro? I just noticed you had a channel and checked out your video on it and subbed. Great breakdown bro. Thanks for your feedback and support. Stay blessed and stay safe or be deadly 🙏
@@R.PTactical I have not carried the Sig since I got the bodyguard 2.0. but when it starts cooling down here in Michigan. the SIG and others will work their way back into my rotation. But right now, for summer. it's the bodyguard. 2.0. That's it... And your video was Really Great. Very informative. It confirmed some things that I noticed about my own bodyguard.. New Sub
@Tom-t4z9c Hey Tom. I can tell you didn't watch the whole video lol. Yes bud, after about 100 rounds of so that Stiffness went away. I guess is that's a "break-in" period to loosen up the mechanics because it's much smoother now and I have almost 400 rounds through it. Thanks for your question and support. Stay blessed and stay safe 🙏
@Tom-t4z9c Yeah bud, you're right about that, alot of people don't like having a safety on their Firearms but the way I look at it is if you want it then use it and if you don't then don't use it but I for one really like having that extra safety on mine. I had the same concerns with the toughness of mine at 1st But once you use it a couple of times it breaks right in and loosen up alot. Hope this was helpful 🙏
@@R.PTactical I'm surprised gold dots didn't work, they're one of the brands that would work in everything. Fiocchi/S&b are the ones I hear have a problem. If gold dots aren't working (if everything else is otherwise fine barrel wise) I would look at a different taper like the sig v crowns, they meet the expansion/penetration.
@Tom-t4z9c Yeah bud. That gold dot caught alot of people by surprise to. I actually picked up some V-crown and other defensive ammo to test out the next time I go to the range but work is hectic these days so not sure when I'll get there. Will keep you posted on how they run tho.
@inojoking Hey O H. You might be right, I don't see any abnormal ledge on mine either. Thanks for your feedback and support bud. Stay blessed and stay safe 🙏
Looked at one today, nice and smooth, no lip. I had them open it up so I could see if it did. Gonna grab one next week. My carry permit expired last month and I didn't want to wait. Gonna renew it today. But the hurricane has the DMV shut down.
@SSTupperware Damn Rusty sorry to hear that man, hopefully your home wasn't effected by the hurricane. What state are you in? Please let me know how you like it when you do eventually get your hands on it. Thanks for your feedback and support. Stay blessed and stay safe 🙏
@FoHoCo Hey TJ. I appreciate the kind words and for you taking time out of your very busy schedule to view and leave a comment. Since I received your gift it hasn't left my side (literally) and I'm amazed that you perfected something so small. Kudos to you my friend. Thanks for your feedback and support. Stay blessed and stay safe 🙏
@BooBahh-uh5jk Hey Boobahh. Yes a few people said the same thing, and even I had to fiddle around with it a few times to get the recoil spring to retract to get back in. But eventually it does go back in properly.
@@R.PTactical by chance and frustration I pulled the barrel halfway out at about a 45 degrees then inserted the spring so it sat properly on the barrel and keeping my thumb on the back of the barrel and spring, I pressed both forward and downward at sametime and that did the trick for me.
@BooBahh-uh5jk Damn bro, that must have been tough on your fingers. Glad it worked out for you, I just kept twisting and messing with it til in fit in properly. To be honest that's a poor design 😕 but I still love the gun lol. Thanks for your feedback and support bud. Stay blessed and stay safe 🙏
@dinkjs Hey John. Yes sir, now that's the spirit 😆 Just get it done. Thanks for commenting and your support bud. Do you own one and have you encountered these issues?
@ I am saving my Pennie’s as we speak! Researching these “problems” looks just like when a car manufacturer sends out a new car. Gotta know those issues in the real world. I don’t see ANY OF THESE ISSUES as a deal breaker.
@dinkjs My man John. I couldn't have said that any better. You don't know how many people nit pick on these small minor setbacks. I don't mind these little things either, not enough to make it stop me from getting this awesome pistol. Please keep in touch and let me know how you like it when you do get it. P.S. i found a company that makes a great holster for it aswell. There's a video on it when you're ready. Thanks for your feedback and support pal.
@edwardwalker2066 Hey Edward. No worries bud, alot of people are feeling the same way. I found Fioche ball ammo and hornady critical defense runs great without doing any work to the feedback ramp. I have over 700 rounds with those and No malfunctions so that's what I'm sticking to. Thank you for your feedback and support bud, please consider subscribing 😉. Stay blessed and stay safe 🙏 P.S. I found a really good company that makes a great holster for it, if you're interested, the video in on the channel.
@Cyborg-911 Hey Cyborg. S&W didn't officially say it has a break-in period but in mine and other people that I trust findings we all came to the same conclusion, after roughly 100 rounds or so it loosen up tremendous. Everything seems to operate so much easier.
I just bought one last month and used my Uplula to load the magazines. I'll find time to fire it after I return from vacation. Thanks for letting this 67 year old know I'm not the only one having issues.
@jerryl.1033 Hey Jerry. God bless you sir. Most of th3 issues will sort itself out after roughly 150 rounds. The gun will loosen up and be much more manageable. Enjoy your vacation and let me know how you like the way it shoots and if you encounter any malfunctions. Thanks for your feedback and support bud.
@jsm136 Hey JSM, I really appreciate that. Everyone is entitled to their opinion but sometimes some people take it a bit to much lol. Thank you for your feedback and continued support. Stay blessed and stay safe or be deadly 🙏
Yeah, the safety on mine wasn’t broken, it’s just that I was a keyboard expert, too stupid to see that it really is supposed to flop around unable stay on or off.
@4StonesHandcraft Haha 😄 glad to hear it. I know you're really pissed about having to send it in for so long and I hope it comes back working properly because it really is an amazing pocket pistol far above the rest in my opinion, however no gun is good if it's not functioning properly.
Thank you for running through these things. It is absolutely a fantastic pistol, and does require some break in. I am a firearms instructor and work at an LGS, and I am always amazed and shocked at how little people shoot their EDC's. Very regularly, a person will come in and say how much they love the (fill in the gun) they bought last year, and carry it every day. I ask how it feels to shoot, and they say something like, "well, I haven't shot it yet, it's my carry gun." 🤡🤡
@woodystube1000 Hey woody. Wow that's awesome, I'm Randy. Nice to meet and interact with an actual instructor. Haha, it crazy just how many people walk around with a CCW and don't train with it, in my opinion training is just as important as carrying. I'm glad you love yours as much as I love mine. Have you experienced any malfunctions with yours?
@ Just one FTF within the very first magazine. A tap on the back of the slide quickly solved it. I always give a new pistol some leeway for the first few mags for breaking, regardless of brand though. Zero failures since with ~400rds. Good to know about the follower issues, I will definitely be looking at them close.
@woodystube1000 oh nice. I'm also the same way, I allow for some hiccups within the 1st 200 rounds. I found hornady critical defense to run smoothly, with over 100 rounds later thats what I carry. You would be surprised how many people discredit a pistol and say it's garbage but when you ask them how many rounds they shot they said 10 haha. I appreciate your feedback and support bud. Thanks for taking time to chat.
I got the 2.0. I like everything about it, but when I disassembled it, the ejector fell out of it. I had only put 22 rounds through it. I sent it in for repair and I haven't gotten it back yet. It has been about 5 weeks. Hopefully I will get it back soon.
@801guitar3 hey 801. Damn that sucks bud. Sorry to hear that, you definitely did the right thing by sending it in to S&W. From what I hear their turn around time is 6-8 weeks so hopefully you'll get it back soon within the next 2-3 weeks. Please keep me posted on when you get it back and how it's functioning. Thanks for your feedback and support bud. Stay blessed and stay safe 🙏
Got one Thursday night….huge burr on the end of the spring and the safety locked and would not release:( Back to the factory yesterday….guess I will have to wait 6 weeks now. Factory rep was cool and helpful but jeez! Hope it all works out.
@Kkess617 Damn Kkess, that sucks. Sorry to hear that, seems like iteaseasy for them to replace it at the factory but yeah they still take 6-10 weeks to get it back to you. In my opinion it's still a fantastic gun and worth the wait. Hopefully when you get it back everything will be sorted out and work flawlessly. Please keep me informed when you get it back
The mags, even after a few days, loaded/unloaded, are still too stiff to reliably pick up the first round when racking a full mag. Also, the full mag is so swollen, it will not eject from the gun, and it requires being pulled out. The 10 round mag is more reliable than the 12. I'm considering removing one coil from the mag spring to see if this cures these problems. For now, I'm running the mags one round down. Also, sometimes the recoil spring can jam up. It's not ideal out of the box, but this gun has the potential to be really cool. Therefore, if I need to mess with it a bit to make it right, I will. Also, S&W will take care of you if you need it. I like mine, but it's just a cool range toy. Im currently awaiting a new recoil spring and guide rod assembly.
@clutchcargo1239 Hey clutchcargo. You might need to load it and leave it racked back for a little longer. I did that and left mine sit for 3 weeks, after I got past roughly 150 rounds the slide and mags all seem to loosen up tremendously to where it's way more manageable however each gun might be slightly different and need some rounds or time than others. With over 400 rounds through it, it runs smooth and reliable. I agree S&W have a great customer service team however it's a 6-10 weeks turn around time. I'm glad to see you're like me and not afraid to put in a little elbow grease. Please stay in touch and let me know how the new rod and spring turns out. Thanks for your feedback and support bud. Stay blessed and stay safe 🙏
@4d4Spl Hey 4d4. That's absolutely right bud. And after 100 years have passed and we all still love our 1911's and they are still running great today, right. Thanks for your feedback and support brother. Stay blessed and stay safe 🙏
In the dozens of TH-cam reviews I've watched, "stiffness" of everything is indeed the main complaint. The only other complaint is failure to feed of some JHP ammo. Oh yes, also the magazine inserting problem.
@cvdevol Hey Chris. Yes bud, in my research I've found all those to be common issues but to be honest they're all minor and for me not a deal breaker. After time and shooting rounds out of it everything loosened up nicely and it much more manageable now. I found hornady critical defense ammo run well in it. With over 200 rounds and no malfunctions that's the one I load up with. Do you own the Bodyguard 2.0?
@johnniehall3692 That's the same thing that happened to me Johnni. I had mine for 3 weeks before I got time to get to the range. Thankfully I wasn't disappointed and hope you're experience is likewise. Yes sir, after roughly 100+ rounds it's breaks in much easier. When you do, please stop back to let me know your thoughts on it. Take care pal and stay safe 🙏
@QuintinWeaver-t2u Oh nice. Yeah bud that uplula will save your thumbs. Also a trick I used was to fully load the mags and leave them in the safe for a couple days. The spring compressed and is much more manageable. Thanks for your feedback and support. Stay blessed and stay safe 🙏
@@R.PTactical no problem man thank you for ur video. And I’ll definitely have to get it bc yesterday I received 3 more 12rd mags in the mail!!! Each one didn’t wanna take the 12th!

I rented 1 at PSA range and I'll be receiving mine in a few days. I've seen drag marks on the spent primers with the one I rented. I will be looking for that with the I get.
@@fpav4049 Hey FPav, I'm glad you liked it enough to order one, I love mine. I haven't noticed any drag marks on my spent shells. Let me know how it is when you get yours. Thanks for the feedback and support. Stay blessed and stay safe or be deadly 🙏
@rodlapin3057 hey Rod. I appreciate the kind words. It really is a game changer. In my opinion it's the best pocket pistol ever, a class far above the rest. Please let me know how you like it when you do feel it for yourself. Thanks for your feedback and support. Stay blessed and stay safe 🙏
@crabjoe Hey Joe. Lucky you, over here in NY they're all out of stock and can't even be ordered at this time. I'm trying to get one more for my wife. When you get it please let me know how you like it. Thanks for your feedback and support bud. Stay blessed and stay safe 🙏
@@R.PTactical My dealer got it in in under a week from order. I still haven't picked it up because I'm in MD. It just got added to the State's handgun roster yesterday. I stopped by my FFL to fill out the 4473 and also the other paperwork for the State's background check. Now I have to wait the 7 day waiting period. When I was there today, I was told he just ordered another one for someone else. You should check with you FFL. All mine did was call his distributor. Good Luck!
I watched a few videos that mentioned how stiff the springs for the slide and mags were. What I did was load the mags full and lock the slide open for two weeks before I took it to the range. The slide was much easier before I took it to the range. The mags are still pretty stiff so I have them loaded in the safe. A few years ago I had a mag I took apart and cut a turn out of the spring. Mine took the mags the first time I tried them without having to force them in.
@Troy_Built Hey Troy. I did the same thing, I loaded the mags with my uplula then let it sit for awhile. After a few weeks it was so much more manageable to the point I can load it by hand but I still chose to use the uplula. Mave you had any malfunctions with your BG 2.0? Thanks for your feedback and support bud. Stay blessed and stay safe 🙏
@@R.PTactical I've had two both with the first mag of Blazer steel case. One was a light strike. The other was a slide that didn't close completely. Those were the only two and I shot the rest of the box of Blazer without another problem. The rest of the time I've used Federal brass case with no problems.
@Troy_Built Oh Nice. I also had 2 early malfunctions but after that no more issues and I have over 700 rounds out of it. I'm glad you're enjoying it as much as I am. What state are you in and how's the ammo situation? Any shortages?
@@R.PTactical Illinois and yes 380 is a little hard to find. I bought some when I bought the gun. When I went back to pick it up the shelf was empty. Most calibers are available but some is pricey. 38 Special, 357 and 380 were the only ones that were sold out. They had a pallet of each of the popular ones.
I just load my 10 rounds to 9....and my 12 rounds to 11...they dont seem to want to accept 10 and 12...i usually download my mags by 1 anyway for total reliability purposes anyway!!! I load my 30 round AR mags to 28 for example
@kevinrichardson8859 That's one way to deal with it. If the manufacturer design it for 10 or 12 rounds I want all of my rounds in there respectfully. Thanks Kev. Stay blessed and stay safe 🙏
@R.P._Tactical you too brother...just make sure the long term reliability is there...10 rounds in the 10 rounder is VERY tight..and getting 12 rounds in the 12 rounder is almost impossible...my MAIN focus on a defensive carry pistol is RELIABILITY even if I have to sacrifice 1 round...stay safe and keep up with the excellent informative videos ✌🏾
Yeah, I do the same thing... as does Hickok 45 per a recent video. I don't think one round is going to make a difference as you worry less about feeding the first few rounds 😉
@kevinrichardson8859 Yes Kev for sure bud. With the 10/12 round mags, I've loaded them up to full capacity and it ran good so I'll continue to use them fully loaded. But Just like you With my AR P-Mags I leave those at 29 because I did have a few jams at 30. I appreciate your input and support bro.
@johnniehall3692 Hey Johnnie. Did Hichkok make a video on the BG 2.0? I'll have to check it out. Thanks for your feedback and support bud. Stay blessed and stay safe 🙏
I used the old “work it 100 times and all will be well” plan with the stiff thumb safety. Now I’m into week #8 waiting for it to come back from the factory with the broken safety hopefully repaired. I hope you don’t have the same result with your working the slide.
@4StonesHandcraft Hey 4Stones. Man that sucks, sorry to hear that. Thankfully mine broke-in just fine and the thumb safety loosened up. Hopefully yours will work properly as intended when you get it back. Please keep me posted on how it is when you do. Thanks for your feedback and support bud. Stay blessed and stay safe 🙏
@4StonesHandcraft You really shouldn't have to "just live with it" like that. If it does come back stiff, I'd suggest dropping a few droplets of oil and rock it back and forth a few times to loosen the tension. My was extremely stiff at 1st aswell. Please keep me posted
@eddiesmith9278 Hey Eddie. Sorry to hear that but it's true. I've heard alot of people say theirs same thing. In fact mine shot left when I got it but I was able to drift the sights to make in align. Did you get it back yet? If not, how long has it been gone?
@KevinSandy2 Hey Kevin. Yes, I sprayed it with CLP and let it sit for 20mins then put it on a vise to hold it then good old hammer and punch the front sight. Hope this was helpful. Thanks for the question and support 🙏
Hey binjy. It's an assistant mag loader that makes loading magazines so much easier. It takes away all the tension from your thumbs. It's called uplula. If you want I'll make a video on it
@BinjyBroban Sure buddy, I'll make a video and try to get a link to it. It will be out in the next couple days. Happy Thanksgiving. Stay blessed and stay safe 🙏
Thank you for the honest evaluation. Lots of gremlins in it. You used the term "run like butter". A new pistol should run like that out of the box. I've bought enough new pistols to know. If a pistol will not run a certain brand of ammo - there's something wrong with it; and it can not be trusted.
@Packrat1947 Hey Roland. I totally agree that a new pistol should run like that straight out the box but that's not always the case, some manufacturers recommend a "break-in" period for a reason which i like to follow. I disagree with the last part of your statement (respectfully) I find some pistols operate better with certain brands over others, that's why I test out different brands in every gun I buy. In this case with such a new, small gun and so many internal parts I'm not surprised to find some issues with certain brands. The small solvable issues wouldn't stop me from purchasing such a great pocket rocket. I found a few brands that run great without any malfunctions and that's what I carry. I trust it with my life everyday but respect your decision if you don't. Thanks for your feedback and support bud. Stay blessed and stay safe 🙏
The Recoil spring does not work well you have to manually pull the spring down to get it to go back in the gun after cleaning the gun a very bad malfunction
@LarryHammock Hey Larry. I've cleaned mine twice and haven't had any such issues with getting the recoil spring or rod back in place, as you can see I put it back together pretty simply in the video. I hope it was just a minor mishap and will work better for you next time. Thanks for your feedback and support bud l. Stay blessed and stay safe 🙏
@@R.PTactical Smith&Wesson has sent me 2 new springs and rod assemblies and they are all the same. The spring comes over the end of the rod and the you cannot push the rod and spring into place on the barrel. I gave talked with S&W numerous times and they say that they are trying to find out why that is happening to SOOO many guideros and spring assemblies.
@LarryHammock Damn Larry, it sucks that you have 3 of them now that don't adjust properly. Seems like it's not the guiderod that's the problem it's that assembly piece. Hopefully they have some sort of recall on it. Sorry you're going through this bud.
@@R.PTactical I live in Knoxville near S&W factory and I am talking with them a lot. There are several others that are having the same problem. The spring gets over the tip if the rod and locks up. I have been to the range when I first got it and it ran fine until I came home and cleaned the gun and then tried to reassemble it but the spring keeps popping over the end cap and will not function. I can manually hold the spring down and if I can hold it I can get it in but that is NOT the way it is suppose to work. There are lots of others on the S&W forum and they are having the same problem. S&W tells me that they are getting lots of calls with the same problem.
@@R.PTactical I really like this Boduguard 2.0 and would like to carry is as a duty back up but until we get the problem solved I cannot carry it the way it is with the unreliable spring and guiderod assembly.
Through the years Ive loaded magazine without any mag loaders pretty well use to it when I worked as sheriffs deputy with glocks. I recently acquired a s&w shield plus 9mm. I bought a couple of new 13 rd mags and they were stiff also but not as bad now. Im gona get the 380 eventually. Im with you on testing ammo for your gun. Some weapons dont like certain ammo. Had many handguns in my time. Far as semi autos glock s&w and the 2 taurus I have had have been great. New guns may require a time of usage. Brands is not end all be all. Ive got a Taurus g2c that has ate many thousands of rounds no issues. My oldest son has a taurus also g2c. He bought a Beretta 9mm and it absolutely was a jamomatic. Dont remember name it was a sub compact
@robtans5042 Hey Rob. You sir must have some strong finger tips after all these years of loading 😆. I've noticed the same thing, the new mags are a little more difficult than the older generations of mags. People don't give Taurus the credit they deserve, I find them to be reliable aswell. Thanks for the feedback and support pal. Stay blessed and stay safe 🙏
@@R.PTactical You just get use to it. Like a plumber working under a crawlspace basement. The hardest mags I found to load when new are the 22 rd extended mags for the glock 22
Mags: Bought a Shield Plus a year ago and extra 13 rd magazines. It was impossible to load them to capacity. Researched and found that the springs wouldn’t go into the follower but catch on the sides. Took them apart and trimmed them (can’t remember how maybe just were I could see the contact). After that I could load all 13. I bet these magazines have the same problem. Note: 1911s have double feed ramps also
@j.michaelcooper8167 Hey J.Michael. That's good advice and maybe that's the same issue with some of them. In my particular case, it's not impossible, but instead difficult at 1st. After I loaded it and left it alone for a few days that spring loosened up and I'm able to load it by hand normally, I think it just Needed to be used a bit to open up. But that is great advice for future use in case I do encounter that issue. Thansk for your feedback and support bud. Stay blessed and stay safe 🙏
@ScottWoodruff-wh3ft Hey Scott. I feel the same way bud. With it coming in stiff like that, over time it loosened up where everything is sturdy yet manageable now. I don't understand why some people mind putting in a little elbow grease for such a great pocket rocket. Do you own a bodyguard 2.0 aswell?
@Average_Joe_Arms Damn Joe. I'm sorry to hear that. Hopefully it does come backed fixed because it truly is an awesome pocket pistol but only if it works right.
@MitchC357 Hey Mitch. That Taurus is pretty sweet to bud. The BG 2.0 is very comfortable in the pocket and I carry it in a sticky holster and even with that it's not noticeable. I originally got it for when I can't carry my Xmacro but I been finding myself carrying both because it's so light, compact and comfortable, it's like it's not even there. Try to see if your FFL has one and feel it out. Thanks for the question and support bud. Stay blessed and stay safe 🙏
@rickshira6717 Hey Rick. Great little tip. In my case that wasn't the issue, it just came really stiff and tough to load by hand at 1st. I fully loaded it with the uplula and let it sit for a couple days in the safe and it loosened up tremendously to where I can load by hand. Thanks for your feedback and support bud. Stay blessed and stay safe 🙏
@jacobbieler1876 Hey Jacob. That sucks, Man I'm sorry to hear that. But you're not the 1st person that had to send theirs in. I know 2 guys sent theirs in and it came back working great but also know one guy who had to send it back a 2nd time and now waiting for it. So I guess every few batches come all messed up. What's wrong with yours?
Failure to feed and failure to extract, mostly on hollow point ammo but I tried several none worked. The feed ramp looks like it has a defect I would assume I could fix it with some polishing but I'd rather have them do it. All failure to extract cases had deep scratches in the cases. It can happen with anything as long as the manufacturer stands behind it and makes it right I'll still be a happy customer
@jacobbieler1876 Oh geez, that's a tough one, yes I totally agree with that, let them fix their mess. Please keep me posted on how it turns out. I appreciate it bud. Stay blessed and stay safe 🙏
I've been carrying the original bg for years and love it. I'd like to get the new one but I don't believe in buying a new release until at least a year or two after its come out. Give the manufacturer time to work out little issues, and sometimes, big ones. Also the price may drop.
@abc456f Hey Mr.Jinx. I don't blame you, I've been in the market for a proper pocket pistol for years so I couldn't wait to get one for myself after I felt it. Since you're already used to the original one then you can wait out the trial period. Thanks for your feedback and support bud. Stay blessed and stay safe or be deadly 🙏
I picked one up last week. I also had issues with mags. The 10 round mag is only a 9 round mag. It's impossible to get the 10th round in. My 12 rounder barely holds 12 rounds, but I can get them in. The sights were WAY off. You could see it right away just looking at them and it was shooting about 2.5-3" to the right a 7 yards. That's terrible QC! It did feed everything I put thru it on the plus side, including the white box Winchester stuff with the really large flat nose. Needs to go on a few more range trips before I can tell if it's GTG for carrying.
@krisd9506 Hey Kris. My sights were off to the left, I drift them over a hair and it's right on point now. Did you drift yours over yet? For the 12th round you might need an uplula mag loader to assist that 12th round until the spring tension get loosened up a bit. Thanks for the feedback and support bud. Stay blessed and stay safe or be deadly 🙏
@R.P._Tactical I managed to drift them, but not easily. Couldn't budget them with a hammer and brass punch. Had to make an adapter block for my Glock sight pusher and it took a lot of force (and CLP in the dovetail)
@krisd9506 Interesting Kris.My was tough aswell but not as bad as yours. I sprayed CLP and let it sit for about 2hrs and then got to working on it. Glad it worked out for you tho bud. Appreciate the feedback and support. Stay blessed and stay safe or be deadly 🙏
@MrJeronlewis Hey Jeron. Well I'm half way there at 500 rnds and I really believe you on that one. It shoots great. Do you have one, if so what ammo do u use?
@R.P._Tactical I don't have one. I do however know a few things. If you have issues with feeding hollows, I recommend you try the golden saber. Its nose is slightly rounded. Just a suggestion. Most guns will feed critical defense rounds also. Sounds like you may already know this though.
@MrJeronlewis OK cool. I look for a box of that golden saber. I haven't heard anyone recommend that one yet. If you get a chance to rent one or borrow it let me know your thoughts on it. Thanks for your feedback and support bud. Stay blessed and stay safe 🙏
@h_in_oh Hey H. I wouldn't worry about that right now buddy, if that turns out to be the case then S&W will have a recall and just replace them but I wouldn't let that stop me from enjoying such a great pocket rocket in the meanwhile, that's just me tho bud. Thanks for your feedback and support. Stay blessed and stay safe 🙏
@R.P._Tactical Agreed that it's not a deal breaker. Just worth keeping an eye on for when to call in the warranty and that it will likely influence the choice of ammo.
@randyn2396 Hey a fellow Randy!!. I don't blame you, I'll start doing thr same thing with my new pistols. Do you have a bodyguard 2.0 aswell? Thanks for your feedback and support bud. Stay blessed and stay safe
My experience with the gun has been largely the same as yours. However, I do have an issue with the feel ramp. Not that it is two part, I think 1911s are like that too. Other reviewers have also said it is that way to keep the slide smaller. My problem is with the part on the frame. If you look closely, there is a little ridge sticking up at the end. I have had Extreme Defenders and Sierra hollow points get caught on that ridge and cause a misfeed. I don’t know why it is there, and I have thought about filing it off. I know others have had the same problem but I have not heard any other solutions.
@anderss6818 Hey Anders. I haven't noticed that in mine but I have a range review video where I had speer gold dot that kept jamming, that could be the reason. I would suggest that you contact S&W to send it in, I heard a few people that sent in theirs and got some issues resolved. I think at some point they will have a recall. Thanks for your feedback and support bud. Stay blessed and stay safe 🙏
the biggest concern i have heard about is the front and rear sights, i haven't held one yet but i watch every youtube video on them, the front sight is dull pumpkin orange i feel like green would have been better, and the rear sight is much too wide for any real shooting. i really don't even need any sights for 10 yards or less, but i sure do like good sights for longer distances.
@yourmomma2995 Hey Yomomma. You're right about that, my sights were off so today bit aswell but I didn't mention it because I figured that's an easy fix to drift it over but if you want I can make a video on how to do that. I also like green nitride glow but the orange is really nice aswell. Thanks for your feedback and support bud. I hope you get one to hold soon 🙏
@@R.PTactical check out the video Paul W. dropped a couple days ago, search "The S&W Bodyguard 2.0 - Return To Sender (First Impressions & QC Issues)" he says the rear sight is made in a way that it cant be drifted over.
@yourmomma2995 Oh really. I'll check it out and listen to what he has to say about it. I didn't know that but the front sights should be enough to adjust the line of sight and I know that drifts over for sure because I did it, but I'll check it out none the less. Thanks bud
@KevinSandy2 Hey Kev. I only drifted the front sight, it's my understanding that the rear sight is stationary and can't be moved. If yours rear sight is way off you might have to send it to S&W to fix it bud.
Small guns have to have a strong recoil spring you cant argue with physics. Somebody mentioned something about taking the mags apart and finding some kind of a hickey with the follower. A peice ofvthe edge draging ??. dont remember but they claimed was an easy fix the able to easily fully load mags. That 2 piece feed ramp sounds a little scary BUT a lot of people claim no problems at all.
@tonycolca2241 Hey Tony. You're probably right bud, makes sense. I don't mind doing a little elbow grease work to it to make it the way I want it but if I have to mess with mags and do all anything crazy then I'll just sell it. I tried different ammos and found regular FMJ and hornady critical defense works great so that's what I've been carrying. Those work good with the 2 part feed ramp and I'm still loving this little pocket rocket. Thanks for your feedback and support bud. Stay blessed and stay safe 🙏
you are CORRECT, not only was the gun stiff but also the magazines but they have unstiffened up and broken in over usage.. 👍 I HATE the sights and wished that S&W had at least put a green fiber for the front sight...
@8475143117 Hey Rene. I'm glad yours unstiffened up now, how many rounds did you out through it? I understand about the sights, everyone jas their own preferences. I really like green fiber aswell but i also dig this orange truglow aswell. Maybe you can buy the green sights and replace it to suit your needs better. Thanks for the feedback and support. Stay blessed and stay safe 🙏
@@R.PTactical I went through a few hundred rounds to UNstiffen the gun and magazines, I actually didn't keep count per se.... Currently there are NO manufacturers that make a front green fiber sight as this dimensions for this gun are different than others but for now, I have to work with that orange front sight that I can not see well at the range...
@robertfrapples2472 Hey Rob. It's orange Nitrate so it should glow orange unless you got a special one or maybe you're colored blind and never knew lol. Thanks for your feedback and support bud. Stay blessed and stay safe or be dangerous 🙏
@@robertfrapples2472 I remember when I did night shooting training in basic training on Fort Sill back in 1983, well today I am NOT in the Army and NOT a police officer but just a private citizen who carries a gun for personal self defense so why the heck would I be out in the dark where I need a glow in the dark front sight today? If it is that dark in a situation, then I probably should just get the heck out of a bad situation. Better to avoid a gun fight (especially if it is that dark) than to win one......
@Pistolpete3303 Yes you do Pete. I know you carry those big boys but this baby fits so good in the pocket as a backup. Thanks for your feedback and support bro. Stay blessed and stay safe or be deadly 🙏
It’s probably not the best choice for a new shooter. It’s very small and light. It does have a “break in” period, until it becomes easier to manipulate. It’s a great gun, just not necessarily a great gun for a new shooter.
Hey Echo. Well said bud. I totally, I love this little thing 😆. It's great for new shooters, females, older people ect. And I found the perfect holster for it if you want to carry IWB. @jacksonbeverly3250 Hey Jackson. Do you have an uplula or any sort of mag loader? I found that fully loading it with a mag loader and letting it sit in the safe for about a week, it really loosen up and after about 3 weeks it was much more manageable and I'm finally able to load it by hand. Let me know if you try this and it helps bud.
I stopped at my local FFL to finish up some paperwork for the one I ordered, so I got a chanced to handle it. All I can say is that this gun if super stiff! Even though I had seen this video stating how stiff it was, I was still shocked at how stiff it is. IMO, the manual safety is worthless, because it take so much pressure to move it. Even the slide release is impossible. I've never touch any gun that was this stiff. I sure hope it loosens up like yours.
@crabjoe Hey Joe. For mine and a few friends that I know that have it, was all the same, after some more oiling and 150 rounds it really opens up and way more manageable. Please keep in touch and let me know how it turns out
The only thing I have to say is I’d rather it start out like this than starling out easy and loose and in a short time becoming sloppy. They’ll break in with use.
@toadranger50 Absolutely 💯 Toad. I'm the same way bud. And trust me, it did indeed loosen up after a short break-in period. Thanks for your feedback and support. Stay blessed and stay safe or be deadly 🙏
Hey Scott. The sights seem to be an issue for alot of them even mine was off to the left about 2-3 inches. Yeah bud that uplula is a thumb saver for sure. A trick i learned was fully load the mags and let them sit in the safe for a few days it'll loosen up the spring alot. The mags are still stiff but not as much. I'm glad you're all good to go now. Thanks for your feedback and support. Stay blessed and stay safe 🙏

I probably have close to 1000 through mine now. I agree, this pistol definitely has a break in period.👍 Mine has ate everything I have fed to it so far, but I am dang glad the UpLula works on 380, I still can't get the last round in either mag without the UpLula🤦♂
As a reccomendation to those that buy an UpLula, get the bright yellow, orange, or pink one.👍They are much easier to locate in a cluttered mancave and the pink one doesn't dissapear at the range.🤷♂🤣
Funny....I have a pink Lula and it just doesn't disappear! lol
@@LostinMIA I am telling you, that pink UpLula has been my favorite range tool.🫡

@4StonesHandcraft Yes, those people aswell. Hopefully you get yours back soon bud
@stevekatz4372 why not recommend something like the EZ ?
My son just got one we have been shooting for a long time and this 2.0 is going way left right out of the box I say about two are three foot to the left

@@R.PTactical zero malfunctions but only have 100 rounds through it. The twelfth round is impossible to load without a mag loader but that isn’t a “malfunction”.
Carry this everyday and absolutely love it. Carried the shield plus 9mm prior
Can't decide which of those two to buy. What has been your experience with each?
Thanks for the review. My wife just got this gun and she cant pull it back. I will have to break it in with some slide action. Many thanks again. 😀
I recently bought a Bodyguard 2 and you are 💯% spot on. That slide is tight!
@rushthezeppelin Hey Rush. You're right, I read that it's not recommended for +P ammo, which isn't a deal breaker for me.
@@rushthezeppelin Good info Rush. Thanks 😊
Thanks for your input on your experience with this fun. It helped!
I can’t wait to get one on the range.
@TADDs101 Nice Tadd. Mine is finally at the point where it's doable by hand aswell but I still use the uplula 😆
I love this gun, first choice for everyday carry. You are absolutely correct, shoot the gun. The stiffness goes away.
Same issue with the recoil spring, getting it to seat against the barrel during reasembly is tricky.
I’ve read that is an issue. Another reviewer said smith sent them new mags and a recoil spring
Any issues with the sites being off?
Just bought one earlier today. Going to take it to the range tomorrow after I check the feed ramp for the ledge. I was able to get all 10rds in the flush mag but was only able to get 11 in the 12rd. Time will tell
@nathanbrinson8489 Hey Nate. Congratulations on getting one of the best (if not the best) pocket rockets ever!! That's my opinion.
The security 380 is 🤌🏻
@honkhonk1555 some people don't think 380 is enough, I never heard anyone that wants to get shot by it tho lol.
It is my understanding that the feed ramps , may sometimes hang up with some
Hollowpoint ammo
@michaelhoward8072 Hey Mike. Yes that's absolutely true, there's a slight ledge by the 2 part feed ramp that not all ammo seem to pass through leggings. I have another range video out with some types of hollowpoint brass that I tested out. Check it out if you're interested but in short, I run hornady critical defense in mine and it runs great. Thanks for your question and support bud. Stay blessed and stay safe

@@R.PTactical good to hear your safety is better, I'm on mobile so I was looking for vids of people with safety's and not many people have them
@Tom-t4z9c Yeah bud, you're right about that, alot of people don't like having a safety on their Firearms but the way I look at it is if you want it then use it and if you don't then don't use it but I for one really like having that extra safety on mine. Anyone having problems reinserting the recoil spring after field stripping and cleaning?
@BooBahh-uh5jk Hey Boobahh. Yes a few people said the same thing, and even I had to fiddle around with it a few times to get the recoil spring to retract to get back in. But eventually it does go back in properly.
@@R.PTactical by chance and frustration I pulled the barrel halfway out at about a 45 degrees then inserted the spring so it sat properly on the barrel and keeping my thumb on the back of the barrel and spring, I pressed both forward and downward at sametime and that did the trick for me.

@4StonesHandcraft ok bud, calm down. You got a defective one, it happens. Sorry you got a lemon. wish yours comes back working properly like mine is.
Taking deep breaths and thinking happy thoughts ( :

@801guitar3 hey 801. Damn that sucks bud. Sorry to hear that, you definitely did the right thing by sending it in to S&W. @@R.PTactical I got it back. Everything looks good. I haven't shot it yet, but I plan to soon.
The two piece feed ramp is probably due to the grip angle, and how the magazine fits in the pistol. It’s all about geometry.
Makes sense. Thanks bud

Yeah the tight mags are just a symptom of manufacturers trying to cram more rounds into these micro pistols.
@@rushthezeppelin Agreed, they're trying to outdo the last hot thing
@@R.PTactical You just get use to it. Like a plumber working under a crawlspace basement. The hardest mags I found to load when new are the 22 rd extended mags for the glock 22
@robtans5042 Geez Rob. What are you doing with a 22rnd mag sir? Lol
After I loaded it and left it alone for a few days that spring loosened up and I'm able to load it by hand normally, I think it just
Needed to be used a bit to open up. But that is great advice for future use in case I do encounter that issue. Thansk for your feedback and support bud. Stay blessed and stay safe 🙏
everything's like butter in a gunfight
@@PaulAmdahl You been in one??
@@R.PTactical I use butter all the time
@@PaulAmdahl lmao. You win 🏆 🙌
I'd rather everything tight and stiff than weak and sloppy. The strong recoil and magazine springs will contribute to greater reliability.
Unfortunately, all my videos have been negatives, lol . I'm gonna send it back and hopefully comes back right .
@Average_Joe_Arms Damn Joe. I'm sorry to hear that. Hopefully it does come backed fixed because it truly is an awesome pocket pistol but only if it works right.
I have a Taurus spectrum. How comfortable is this gun in a pocket?
@MitchC357 Hey Mitch. That Taurus is pretty sweet to bud. The BG 2.0 is very comfortable in the pocket and I carry it in a sticky holster and even with that it's not noticeable. I originally got it for when I can't carry my Xmacro but I been finding myself carrying both because it's so light, compact and comfortable, it's like it's not even there. Try to see if your FFL has one and feel it out. Thanks for the question and support bud. Stay blessed and stay safe 🙏
One other thing.....on the magazines ...the Bottom of the carrier in the magazine gets snaged on the magazine lock...a little trimming problem gone...
Unfortunately i got a lemon which is currently being sent back to s/w, hopefully itll b good to go soon
Bet that thing will be smooth as silk after 1000 rounds.
The two part feed ramp is a little worrisome since the lower part is a different metal than the barrel. They could wear differently over time.
@h_in_oh Yeah bud, you're absolutely right. Will keep an eye out for sure. Thanks for your feedback and support. Stay blessed and stay safe 🙏
Any new gun that I get, I rack the slide 200 times before I even go to the range.
@randyn2396 Hey a fellow Randy!!. I don't blame you, I'll start doing thr same thing with my new pistols. Do you have a bodyguard 2.0 aswell? Thanks for your feedback and support bud. Stay blessed and stay safe
Good review and matches my experience.
@dennisowens301 Hey Dennis. Thank you, is yours loosened up and running smoothly now?
Thanks bud
@@R.PTacticalyes pls show how to move the Rear sight and front sight. A wheeler sight pusher cant move the rear one.
@KevinSandy2 Hey Kev. I only drifted the front sight, it's my understanding that the rear sight is stationary and can't be moved. If yours rear sight is way off you might have to send it to S&W to fix it bud.
Racking on the toilet is hilarious
@chrisr8649 Hey Chris. It's my comfort zone, don't judge me ok lol 😆 😅 Thanks for your comment and support bud. Stay blessed and stay safe 🙏
The front sight turns a greenish yellow in the dark.
Damn! I need one!!! Nice review brother!
Check it out on the channel if you're interested. Thanks for your feedback and support. Stay blessed and stay safe 🙏
Don’t feel lonely I can’t get the 12th round in mine
Had to center the front sight. Factory screwed that up. Had to purchase the uplula. I’m good now
Thank you.
I held one last week and it felt like a little toy!
@mr.c1580 Hey Mr.C. you probably have big bear paws 🐾 bud. It's small but it feels much better than any other pocket pistol on the market in my opinion. Thanks for your feedback and support. Stay blessed and stay safe 🙏
