First off … your Son is darling.. second thank you so much for your react … the way I felt was it really was the story of Callum… the beauty of his life and their friendship… the fun, the memories etc… sadly Callum unfortunately drowned in rough waters and I felt that pain as Ren got to the middle of his composition… then as we come to the end it is a combination of Callum letting go but also Ren having to let go of him… it gave me immense sadness as I can only imagine it did Ren hence taking him so long to write it … I think also when he finally completed his tributes to Joe he was able to move forward to this chapter of closure. I feel so fortunate to have been invited by the Universe on the journey of Ren and the many who love and appreciate him including you… so thank you always for your thoughtful dedication… ♥️🫶🏻♥️
I couldn't imagine having to go through that much grief in such a short amount of time for 2 people so close to him.

Notice the little yellow butterfly fly directly in front of the camera at the 2:26 mark near the end of Ren's video. In this reaction video, it's at the 7:20 mark, but if you watch the original music video from Ren, it's right at the 2:26 mark. Feels like Callum was popping in just to say, "Hi, Ren". "I'm right here with you buddy!" 💛🦋

Wonderful reaction. The times the tempo rises my interpretation is the moments, of anxiety where the fight or flight response takes over during the grief that's taking place.

Your son is so adorable. I want to go back and enjoy my now adult children when they were that age. Collabs we know about : 2 Chinchillas, done. Webby (tracks done, music video recording next weekish in Connecticut on his NY trip. There's a Prof collab in the works and Ruby J (artist from Brighton he's busked with). I'm sure there's more stuff we don't know about.

I think also, in my head anyway, that the middle part towards the front of the end? is describing water and waves. Callum died in an accident. He drowned and another if their friends died trying to rescue him. Thats what that sounds ir feels like to me. But just my opinion of course, as wrong as it may be.

I take too many breaks at this point. Sometimes you have to assess whats wrong with the situation and make the change thats needed.
As gentle as I can say, it is not necessary to comment on everything. We listen to reaction videos to share not just to get an opinion and dissect.
I appreciate the respectful and constructive criticism. I understand that view point. But anyone can post a video of themselves listening to a song with their facial expressions and expletives. Separating yourself from the hurd is important; and finding a way to enhance the video is key. I try to bring some knowledge where I can. And it is hard to know which songs should be uninterupted or not without having listened to them first, which is inauthentic, imo.
