I was brought to tears in the first 30 seconds when I watched this. It's so beautiful.
I lost my mom last year to cancer - she was in home hospice for two months prior to her passing on April 13th. My siblings and I split time to be there with her and my dad. It was hard being there and watching her die and it was equally as hard not being there. Thank-you for summing up the emotions I felt while listening and watching the video.
After losing my dad over the summer then Fisch’s mom who was like another mother to me, I realize more and more everyday that it’s best to let your emotions out as they come. We all experience loss, but our loved ones would want us to remember and honor them. But more importantly keep moving forward and live our best lives. Love you bro. 🫂
My mom passed March 26 th. 7 yrs ago. What i miss most are the chats we had. Mother to daughter. They are what I cling to when life gets hard.

I lost my mom 2 years ago on December 19 to lung cancer. I was there with her when dhe took her last breath. Its something you will never forget. i made sure i told her how much i loved her and that i couldn't have asked for a better mother.

Wow, what a beautiful piano solo! As usual Ren surprises us, no lyrics, no words, just a rollercoaster of emotions played out on the keys of the piano...Sometimes there are no words and it's through music one can still communicate and express their thoughts and emotion...No Words Needed. I too lost my mom last May, she suffered from COPD and towards the end, I was taking care of her with in-home Hospice. I totally get what you said about there being bittersweet emotions that are born out of her passing. Hold tight to the best memories and use them to keep your own flame alight...Peace Brother.

I held my beautiful Mum’s hand as she passed. I still hadn’t cried all these years since she’s been gone… my first tears for my mum today.

Most of us have said the word thousands of times, yet Mom can still catch in our throat long after they're gone. And thankfully the love that's wrapped around that word, for most of us, is eternal. That's one place I find my comfort, and I'm grateful for my mother every day. My mother's talents were many, especially music, and the love of it was something we shared. I in turn am grateful for the love of music my children have, and the understanding that is the Limitless way to share almost anything with anyone no matter who they are or where they're from. Ren, the gift sharing the universal language.💙 I'm so very sorry for your loss✌️
Oh man, thank you for sharing about your mom and that experience. My mom passed away 13 years ago from cancer and I held her hand right before she passed as well and the way you explained it all hit so hard. My dog of 15 1/2 years passed away this January with her head laying on my foot, and the pain, relief, anger, sadness, etc. is almost impossible to even describe. I feel ya brother, hang in there, and thank you for what you do.

I’m sorry for such a huge loss. You actually remind me of my Dad, who unexpectedly passed away more than 25 years ago, 3 days before his 47th birthday. He was a musician like you. His name was Darryl Kutz ❤️ You should check out his video called, Holy Smoke, he sang with Starbuck in the 1970s Don Kirshner’s Rock Concert. Epic performance and he was just a vessel for music, a musician’s musician, just like Ren. Never got to say goodbye to him… but hopefully he knew how loved he was….. 💔

My mum passed on 13 April 2022, at almost 94 years . My dad's birthday was 14 April. He passed 27 years ago, it takes a long time to come to terms with never seeing a loved one and telling them about your day. April is our month, in our family. My older daughters birthday is 15 April and my niece's birthday is 18 April. A lovely month to have a birthday .

Just wanted to add my condolences for your loss. I was with my wife a few years ago when we watched her mother draw her last breath... It was a whole mix of emotions; naturally sadness and tears, but there was something beautiful to it all as well; after that last breath she looked peaceful. It's not easy to get your head around such feelings. Life is short, even for the oldest among us, and at some point we all go back to that place before we were born.
Later when we drove to the funeral I was struck by all the wildlife and animals that passed us on the roads - far more than usual. Everything from boar, to birds of prey, rabbits, deer, a horse and cart... I didn't think too much of it. Last year, two young deer came into our back garden (something that never happens!), and walked right up to our back door as we were eating. I thought it very odd, and then just a couple of minutes after they disappeared, my wife got a call from a nursing home to say that her Nan had passed away at 101.

This was so moving on my first listen (thinking about my childhood friend that I too lost tragically at the age of 16) This time it’s my mama and agree this beautiful arrangement takes you on a journey of raw emotions that can’t be articulated with words! Ren clearly understands how to express himself musically when words fall short!

Shewww!!!! Christmas Eve brother I'm sorry. Anytime it's hard but especially when it's around a family holiday or a birthday its never the same. My grandmother was around Thanksgiving and it was hard to continue on with gathering for the holiday that year but we did and it helped. So keep those nearby for that comfort my brother. 🙏

My heart’s with you brother, it’s one of the most difficult things in life to loose your mom.. I lost mine nearly twenty years ago and I still think about her all the time. Was very luck to have had a dream that she was in just about a week ago, dream didn’t make any sense as most of mine don’t lol but just to hear her voice was everything. God bless you!

There is something about instrumental piano songs that always makes me so emotional. I lost my grandma on Tuesday and this brought me to tears. Also I feel just like you said about your mom, my grandma was very sick and we spent the last seven motnhs constantly in and out of hospital with her and it was SO DAMN HARD, I am glad she is resting in peace now and that I have so many great memories with her but I miss her so fucking much and I don't think I've still processed that I won't ever see her again. Sending you much love man

Rens two long time friends Joe and Mackay passed within 6 months of each other when Ren was 21. Ren was unable to write anything in tribute until now. He was at the piano just playing around and said this flowed out of him then.,.i have heard this like 4 times now and the waterworks still flow. The anniversary of my moms death is April 9th. Many years ago but still gets me each year.. it was a breath of fresh air to hear a Ren piece all the way through u interrupted. I don't understand why reactors have to stop and talk every few mins on Rens stuff when he will never penalize a reactor. Please keep it up uninterrupted for us. Much appreciated.
Bro, the hole will never get filled but just know brighter times are ahead, lost my dad years ago and he never met his grandson and things my son does now often catches me thinking “dad would of been so proud”

I like that Ren said the music just came out of him. Some time after my husband's death, I began to write a poem. Each part of it began, "You left me... ". You left me... you left me... you left me... Then the final words also just came: "You left me satisfied." All of that echoed in Ren's wordless music tonight and your own reaction was akin. That's the effect of music like Ren's... it brings people together as kin.
