Interesting....I know exactly what went down since I was a fly on the wall when it did. The reality however is just this the system of selling and buying art has always been broken - what we simply seeing now is just 1 of the thousand examples of what goes down on the regular. So to artists the real advice would be this: If you play in the woods filled with wolves - be prepared to get bitten. It is wishful thinking that parasites will ever vanish from this arena, infact it is the tiny percent of these parasites that actually keep the ecosystem like it is. As an artist I realised long time ago what the game is - if you know how to play the game then whether you get rewarded at times or burnt at other times you need to understand your plan B, C and D. We as artists are also a big part of the problem, as that feeds into this ecosystem, all involved is accountable on one level or another - not all artists are victims of this - many artists I know are greedy as f**k and are unable to play the long game. I make sure that I educate myself enough so I don't need people around me to even advise me, unless an artist is having a gun put to their head to sell.....this is the game.

HOW DO YOU STOP GREEDY PEOPLE FROM FLIPPING YOUR ART PEICES? I have already been thinking about how other people go and make more money on an artist work, especially when they are no longer on earth. Me as an Artist would want a Collector who genuinely will want my works and appreciate it and the story that comes with it, along with myself the artist being paid what God Almighty thinks I should be paid.
