You are most welcome in SA and I love your message and views. The colour of our skin doesn't differentiate us, it's our cultures. The more we integrate, the more we understand and accept each other. Keep smiling people and let's embrace and respect one another. Mooi man!
Loved this. I think I followed you because I was so impressed at your language-learning capabilities. You even have the accent right. But I love your overall message. I love that you believe in our rainbow nation. And I will always welcome someone like you.
You are such a blessing!! Yes, I agree…we follow where our Lord leads and do what He says! You are a breath of fresh air in South Africa and for it’s people! I love watching you because it reminds me of how special South Africa and all the people are..! It is amazing to see how you adapt and enjoy the different cultures in South Africa! I am an Afrikaans South African and we have been living on your turf for 27 years!! The USA is where the Lord lead us too and it was not an easy road! We have no family here and we miss them! I love where we live in beautiful Naples, Florida and I love the American people and the different accents like the Southerner’s etc. Keep those video’s coming!❤
Rugby... Strangely enough... Is the sport where SA is in complete unity. Dis you see the people in the streets in the videos after we win the Rugby world cup. It was amazing!!!!
I love your story and i am so happy that you started doing youtube. I already love your content and to know you are posting on youtube brightens my day. I am so glad you love South Africa so much, it truly is a beautiful country. ✨
Amen Sister! I think sometimes us South Africans need a fresh perspective. Also, anyone saying you don’t belong here…there is a very good chance that if they go far enough back they don’t either 🙄🙄🙄 South Africa belong to all who live in it! Also married as a English/German South African to an Afrikaaner…the best 😁
Thank you for the video! I'm doing a research essay for my final year at Stellenbosch University in Cape Town. The topic is Afrikaans culture, specifically around Afrikaner Nationalism, crime, fear and how undivided we are as a country. So from your perspective, how would you describe Afrikaans culture? What is Afrikaans culture all about? I am an Afrikaans Christian lady, so I know what my personal answer would be to that question. But it would be really interesting to hear what you have to say. - Melissa
I thought you were famous 😂 weird seeing your yt with so few followers 😮 but us South Africans love you…. The negative people are just jealous they aren’t home
@@heyvandermerwe ok... Cute! I'm just wondering if you won't attract more viewers or connect with the audience more of you look at the camera. Love your hair by the way!
If everyone could be as optimistic as you the world would be a better place 😊
