- if you have laptop that doesn't come with dedicated gpu, you can try this method to install eksternal gpu to your laptop.

Thats a possibility to install a GPU yes, but, USB will slow down the 1060 to 20% performance, just because of the bandwith limitations, and also the overhead that usb is creating, by being cpu bound, so don't expect any exceptional well performance out of this.
Better go for an NVME slot in your laptop if you have a spare one besides your system nvme and then go for sff-8654, than you have at least pcie 4x.

Am connect external gpu. Gpu showing in device manager. But not connected, not open Nvidia control panel. Please help.
Have u installed the driver? Try open some games to makes sure it's work
