I used this product on my Astra 2.0cdti a week ago. And it made an immediate improvement on my car. No more boost issues, no going into limp mode and MPG up by around 6 mpg. Do not think this will make the inside of the engine, egr, turbo look brand new as it won't. But It helps to get things moving again and working how they should. I had a choice of an expensive garage bill, sell/scrap car or give this ago. I had my doubts, but this worked. Used on 2011 Astra 2.0cdti 149000 miles.

Does anybody rate the dpf cleaners that are additives to the fuel? Any good

Mixed views about this stuff. Something that is passing at that high speed through an engine doesn't really have time to get in contact with the carbon long enough to work on it. I think this is more like the emperor's new clothes. You see what you want to see

Reason I use it mainly was I tried it on a range Rover that required the body to be removed to replace the turbo and it worked so saved a lot of money.
Definitely doesn't work 100% of the time though

I've a 2.0 tdi that goes into limp mode when cruising at 120kph only. Shows over boost code. No vaccum leaks. Would it be sticky vains, do you reckon this method may help. It happens maybe 5 times on a 300km journey. My wee Bluetooth obd thing clears the code while driving no hassle.

@@Mcevoy91 Mine use to do the same, it's most likely the vanes in the turbo sticking. The reason it happens at that speed is because they close to increase boost then open once your car gets up to speed but if they don't open up within I think 5-10 seconds and stick it flags the ecu and goes into limp mode.

@@MrZimmaframe ah awesome thanks, hard to find specific discussions about it. I'm going to give this method a try hopefully sorts it as the turbo is only 20000kms old and I've done multiple oil flushes to help clean up the engine since. Runs beautifully apart from that inconvenience every now and then. Appreciate the comments 🙏

@@Mcevoy91 Also have a look on the under side of where the intake pipe has a 90 degress bend after the air box, sometimes there is a metal clip attached to the hard lines and it sometimes rubs against the underside of the flex 90 degree pipe (which is after the air box) and makes a small hole, it will allow unmetered air to be sucked in because it is after the maf sensor causing an over boost because of this.

Did the owner of this car feel any noticeable difference after the cleaning?

Is big difference my Mazda 2015 2.2 skyactiv got only 75K on the clock, and have a LOT'S carbon everywhere use only good fuel engin oil change evry 5000 miles. Cleaning manually all sensors was completely blocked ,
check engine light come on show EGR blocked or stop working. After using that product x2 all problems gon. I know one day i must take off the part and Cleaning manually but for now when have not time to do that is perfect option
