If you read the discription for the "Zero-G Breachloading" ship module, it says that the default method of reloading ship ordinance is muzzle-loading. That suggests that they either need to drag the cannons into the ship or, even more comically, send out some dudes in space suits to put a fresh round in the barrel.
Then I really be making those bastards work calling I'm 120,380 and the walking in every 3 minutes to nuke the tower bases missions. Almost can't tell something existed their 😅

Those descriptions are genuinely hilarious, I read them all My favourite is an increased payload for the eagle craft, which goes something like “we removed useless features like airbags, ejection seats and fire suppression systems to fit more missiles”
One of my favourite details that no1 seems to have noticed is that when they nerfed the breaker shotgun to have less ammo, they actually went in and change the model of the magazine changing the type of magazine and its size to reflect it had less ammo, people wouldnt have batted an eye if they didn't, but they decided to anyway.
What's hilarious is one of the people who work for the company that made Helldivers 2 is having mental breakdowns because no one cares how woke the company is since it keeps real life politics out of the game

Another fun fact: no matter how many times you play the game and load in, the npc that comments on your last game will tell you occasionally congratulations on completing training since all helldivers are frozen until deployment :)
Also fun fact. When tossing a partially used mag. You can see the unused ammo sitting in it. When tossing a fully empty mag. There are no shells visible in it.
Some weapons reload by round, not mag. Revolvers and some shotgun are single shot reload, meaning if your mag is 5/8, it puts three in instead of putting 8 in and losing five. It’s a weapon specific thingy(bottom right of gun stats) and is really interesting.
By the way, clankers chant goes like this: "Heart, steel, we kill, wake up on to war! Heart, steel, we kill, wake up on to war! Cyberstan, can't keep her down!" And it repeats (for those wandering how I know it, I was taken prisoner on malevelon creek)

The reason why we have helldivers in the first place and not just bombard all our enemies from orbit, on which we can clearly do, is because super earth has a major population problem. Getting killed or friendly fire is the whole point of helldivers.

I’m willing to bet my friend has heard some of those friendly fire lines, he takes the laser rover a lot and that thing seems to LOVE putting me between it and the enemies I swear. Legitimate had runs with him where the only deaths are that damn rover team killing me.
As gun nerd, i really love the revolver reload where usually when you use the ejecting rod it eject all the bullet in the cylinder but this revolver is so advanced when you use the ejecting rod it only eject the empty shell. Not to mention that is a big ass round for handgun so is no wonder that it able to penetrate steel and take down the tinman.
@@TheRogueWolfspeed loaders wouldn't work with the "don't eject unused bullets" tech already in the gun, you'd be trying to shove bullets into filled holes.

It seems like it might overcomplicate an otherwise simple weapon, but we are dealing with a sci-fi setting. You'd probably want a way to eject live rounds when necessary, but in combat, being able to quickly top off the revolver seems like a useful feature. Making a revolver that can selectively eject spent casing would be a lot easier than FTL travel that can reach anywhere in the galaxy in seconds or instant communication over many light-years.

Remember once I was the only one out. Everyone else had samples, but I couldn’t get bat to grab them and make it to extraction, so I just left with the few samples I had. The officer said something snide about me not getting a lot of samples. Just watched three of my fellow Helldivers make the ultimate sacrifice after completing all side objectives as well as the main ones, and you’re getting on me because of samples you wouldn’t have gotten anyway if I joined them…
Something I noticed last night is when you launch from a destroyer the bottom of the destroyer will actually open to let the pod launch then close they didn’t have to animate that since you barely see the underside but they did anyways. Another thing is with kinetic automatic weapons when you get to the last couple rounds they will turn into red tracers which warn you you’re about to run out of ammo

The ships in the sky actually determine the angle in which orbital strikes come in from. So you can tell if the orbital will hit a rock to your left if the ship is to your left.

The same goes for the grenade launcher. The number of rounds left is visible in the belt, and will get tossed aside when you reload.

Just watched three of my fellow Helldivers make the ultimate sacrifice after completing all side objectives as well as the main ones, and you’re getting on me because of samples you wouldn’t have gotten anyway if I joined them…
Something I noticed last night is when you launch from a destroyer the bottom of the destroyer will actually open to let the pod launch then close they didn’t have to animate that since you barely see the underside but they did anyways. Another thing is with kinetic automatic weapons when you get to the last couple rounds they will turn into red tracers which warn you you’re about to run out of ammo
I got one that said “zero friendly fire incidents, thats a lot less paperwork “ or something along those lines 😂
Had the shipmaster tell me "I've never seen democracy dispensed so swiftly" or something along those lines and i felt so proud of myself lmao
I once heard one of the automatons say something that sounded like: „don‘t hurt me“
When I was sneaking around and one turned around and said "There you aaaaare." before opening fire. I jumped!
All i hear is " i need to be liberated"
While sneaking into a base on a snow planet I could hear one automaton saying. “Im freezeing” or something to that extent.
I saw an automaton hiding behind rocks grenade themselves. Another time, I saw two troops gun down in chase by a strider.
The atomatons be marching in dubstep 💀
They sound like those soldiers from The army of statues in Lego Ninjago when garmadon had that hat
If you don’t die (including teamates) the ship master gets impressed
one time me and my died from our own Grenade and I swear the automatons said, "He Killed Himself"😂😂😂

we came back with not one sample
the ship npc can say stuff like "lots of samples extracted" even if you extract with none

The ships in the sky actually determine the angle in which orbital strikes come in from. So you can tell if the orbital will hit a rock to your left if the ship is to your left.
i always thought that the cadence during marching was the sound of their gears or something... it never occurred to me that it was vocal
