Thank you so much Dave, for the info and insight. However, I can't remember which TH-cam video (of yours) it was that I heard you mention that sometimes it was to the sync composer's benefit to distinguish themselves from the stock composer (hat). I believe you said it had something to do with how sync library reps would look at our music as not being serious. Please DON'T quote me because I can't remember exactly how you phrased it but it did spark my interest in wanting to have a name or pseudonym for my stock music and my actual name with the word music behind it to represent my sync efforts. Please advise... thanks so much for sharing.... jaythan

This is a stellar question and brings up a point I didn't cover in the video!
For stock music services and other market places like selling beats or sample packs, it may be a better idea to post those under a brand name rather than your composer name. Having a brand name will make your tracks/samples/beats appear as if they are coming from a production house as opposed to a single composer, will give authenticity what you're selling, and give the buyer more confidence in the quality of the sounds.

    Me? ABSOLUTELY!!!
100% I'd get more feedback were they unaware I remixed their songs, as sadly, I'm good at losing friends and alienating people.
