But I still love this game and even though some people don't like Pandaria or Cata I think they were both great. There were some things I missed, but that is alright. :)

We thought that we had dealt with the black dragon/old god threat back then but were sorely mistaken. They put a good deal of thought into this one!
I think they intentionally made this theme as a dark medley of WoW tracks so we would think "Now this shit is real" and to make us think that it was truly the end of the World. And it actually worked! I hope Legión theme is equally or more hopeless sounding
I noticed that the moment i listened to this back in 2011 during the beta of Cataclysm cant fully remmeber if it was late 2010 or early 2011 but sometime round those 2 years and omg was i shocked at this cataclysm thing ahh those days were the best good times good times this track soo nostalgic! I quit half way into cataclysm tho .. started playing 2004 and officially quit in 2012 now i just occasionally log in to the game but guilds disbanned all my friends quit soo sad .. but thats life i guess :S /cry

It's not latin. The composer intentionally made it sound like latin. The phrase structures and words even make sense a little, but it's totally different from latin. They're not my lyrics btw, I just copied them from somewhere else because it does sound like what they say. Btw even if you don't know latin, you can kinda understand latin if you're able to speak a few languages that are close to latin or that use a lot of words from latin.
I remember the Burning Crusade login screen. I can't remember it perfectly, though, because I was still a child. Then, I skipped WoTLK (now I know what a pity it is) and came back to WoW when it was Cata. Dayum, I loved the logging screen! Back then, I didn't know who or what dragon it was. And still, the great dragon made of steel and fire, roaring at you and sitting atop of the building... yes, the Cata login screen was the best.
DfRaid BC was great but Vanilla was bad and all of the bosses except some naxx ones would be considered easy by todays standards and would be rolled over by mediocre guilds so I dont get your logic.
For me it would have to be WOTLK. Cataclysm seemed a bit rushed, and there's also the LET'S WRECK THE WORLD bit, which didn't fly too well for me. I enjoyed it, but I felt as though it could have been better. Still better than the Kung Fu Panda rip-off.

Did anyone noticed that it contains extended musics from the previous addons, like 2:38 is somewhere from original WoW, then 7:03 is from Lich King's death, then 8:35 is also from original, 9:29 is Gunship Battle from Icecrown Citadel, and 10:03 is from Ulduar Antechamber. It kind of represents that Cataclysm changed the whole Azeroth.
I really miss cata, at least back then there was community, people actually logged in to play, and not sit all alone in there garrisons. Most of the wow friends i made were during cata, and none of them even log on anymore, or they have changed realms.
I remember back on cata when me and my friends go together just flying around doing nothing or sometimes killin mobs dungeons raids and most of all camping some lowbies for fun 😂😂 it was great though....then later i play wotkl in a private server 😃😃

Blizzard you need to give the art and music department a nap. The way they make their things so perfects makes me wonder how much sleep you give them. When I saw the zones and hear the music I was instantly hooked on the game.
Invincible at 6:38 gets me every time. Even though this was a new expansion the theme had so many throwbacks to vanilla, BC, and wrath, that's what makes it the best one for me.

this one is my favorite, I love how in this expansion the old world came back, and I love the fact that when I create an alt I come across this music and remember the good old days. Too bad cataclysm ended so bad, but I feel lot of nostalgia for cata.
I enjoyed this Xpac to be honest. I enjoyed all expansions. (I didn't play vanilla, only private server but I remember watching my dad play on his warrior). I feel like I'm the only one who enjoyed doing dragon soul LFR. I know I'm going to get hate for this...
hearing the dun morogh music really brings me back. I started playing the game in early cata if i remember correctly.. with my first character being a gnome mage. i logged into a brand new world familiar to my peers and brothers. I hear the beautiful dun morogh music (3:20-4:46), and am in awe. it was at this point where i truly fell in love with the game for the first time. Since then i have been playing, getting better and better. Farming mounts and doing the raids... never looking back on my decision that day, as it was one of my best decisions to date. Cataclysm and mop's login screens are the ones i have the fondest memories of, just staring at it, listening to the music. And also my fondest memories gameplay wise as back then i experienced the world with my 2 nephews, who were at the time also new to the game. i have memories leveling with them, questing with them. What an amazing game this is. Too bad bfa is a bit poorly received.
cataclysm login music is like travelling through time. u hear the different pieces and recall those memories u had when u played WoW during that period of time. the last minute (vanilla wow) is still the best for me imo :)

I liked Cataclysm so much since it was the first time I played with a paid account instead of the free trial to level 20. Even with the random deaths from Deathwing; I greatly enjoyed it until my account was stolen (at that time I didn't know about account security).
Memories. Strong memorie. Cata was my begining of journey in WoW.

Thats usaly how log in screens are. Burning crusde was a mix of vanilla and BC. Wrath was a mix of vanilla, BC and wrath ETC. Thats usaly how it goes.

this one is my favorite, I love how in this expansion the old world came back, and I love the fact that when I create an alt I come across this music and remember the good old days. Too bad cataclysm ended so bad, but I feel lot of nostalgia for cata.

I enjoyed this Xpac to be honest. I enjoyed all expansions. (I didn't play vanilla, only private server but I remember watching my dad play on his warrior). I feel like I'm the only one who enjoyed doing dragon soul LFR. I know I'm going to get hate for this...

hearing the dun morogh music really brings me back. I started playing the game in early cata if i remember correctly.. with my first character being a gnome mage. i logged into a brand new world familiar to my peers and brothers. I hear the beautiful dun morogh music (3:20-4:46), and am in awe. it was at this point where i truly fell in love with the game for the first time. Since then i have been playing, getting better and better. Farming mounts and doing the raids... never looking back on my decision that day, as it was one of my best decisions to date.
Cataclysm and mop's login screens are the ones i have the fondest memories of, just staring at it, listening to the music. And also my fondest memories gameplay wise as back then i experienced the world with my 2 nephews, who were at the time also new to the game. i have memories leveling with them, questing with them. What an amazing game this is. Too bad bfa is a bit poorly received.
cataclysm login music is like travelling through time. u hear the different pieces and recall those memories u had when u played WoW during that period of time. the last minute (vanilla wow) is still the best for me imo :)

I liked Cataclysm so much since it was the first time I played with a paid account instead of the free trial to level 20. Even with the random deaths from Deathwing; I greatly enjoyed it until my account was stolen (at that time I didn't know about account security).
