Goddamn 10:56 Legends of Azeroth finale. That is the epic climactic music you would play if this was truly the finale for the entire World of Warcraft story
10:03 is actually a mix of antechamber of Ulduar and Dark ironforge, Not only dark ironforge. Some of the lyrics are in latin, But you can hear them say "Admira Aman'Thul" in the end. "Admira" translates roughly into "A friendly and divine individual" as Google puts it.
The Legends of Azeroth version at the beginning sounds so dark/epic, love this version. I really appreciate the nostalgic feelings that this log-in music particularly offers because of the more pronounced use of Legends of Azeroth in all of its form, which sounds so much better and clearer than the Classic version, thanks to the use of the orchestra and the talent of Brower. Interesting how "Alliance"-oriented the choices of the music is for Cataclysm's log in music (not that it matters to me), I imagine this is unintentional. I also like the variety of locations picked here, which honors the name World of Warcraft. It's kind of funny how Gunships was picked (strange choice but incredible music!) even though I imagine they didn't know at the time that the gunships along with their theme will be reused for patch 4.3. All of this made for the longest log-in music at the time for WoW, and still one of the longest today. Definitely one of my favorites as well, mostly because of nostagia with probably the best version of Legends of Azeroth, even though it's cut off.
1:55 is the same melody as 1:57 on "Xaxas", i'd think the cinematic music was composed first and then they decided to use that on here and expand on it.
My favourite rendition of the Legends of Azeroth track at 1:30. I love how all the instruments sound here, especially the drums/percussion, they have this heavy sound to them that i really like. Love 5:26 aswell, too bad it's quite short, here and in-game.
Cataclysm was an interesting time for world of warcraft, truly an exotic expansion. It was the begining of a new world of warcraft, a worse one but a more exciting one. The music reflected that. It became somewhat more generic but more epic at the same time. Forever burning crusade will be my favorite, even if I did not have a chance to play it when it was current. However, cataclysm, especially the music, left a huge impact.
so this is just a walk from classic to cata. stormwind, dun morog, night elves, dark portal, Arthas, elemental vortex, Gilneas which was suffering because of the flood... And titans at 10:03
2:37 This version of the Stormwind theme is nowhere to be found except in "The Shattering" soundtrack. It's like a grand version of the vanilla theme, and is not part of the "Stormwind - Cataclysm" OST.

I disliked this when it was current (the length of time before Legends of Azeroth starts properly pounding was draining...) but it's come to be one of my favourites now I can listen to it in full. In particular, when it drops into Invincible it can bring a tear into my eye. Something I really admire though is the fact it has both gilnean and goblin music in it but they feel quite naturally placed in it. The goblin one stands out, but it does blend. Not many of the other login themes managed to fit diametrics in so nicely.
I used the model viewer from this site called WoW tools. Some things didn't look quite right, like the lighting on the main building was too bright and some of the bricks on the leftmost wall were missing textures. But for the most part it looked great, just needed to make some slight adjustments to it in my video editor. Cataclysm rly changed "the world" and its music for the better too bad it was the last great xpac good warcraft could've gone a bit further down the road...BUT it seems smth happened maybe the good ppl left 😔 let's just be happy we experienced it at least.

It's one of the tracks that plays in Stormwind and some monestaries/chapels from classic WoW.

The world got way worse imo, the music is much better though.
