We have had our Roomba since 2010. My wife loves it. Our daughter also had one; she bought a newer model and gave her old one to us, so we now have two. I have had to replace the battery only once in ten years. that's pretty good, I would say. they are super easy to maintain. The manual and on line information give very complete information on use and maintenance. Excellent product.
So far so good with this vacuum. th-cam.com/users/postUgkx8ISPQRRAfpAaX4msGjyodObTBnlj4T5g I was a little concerned to find it seems to be all plastic, but the reviews were good, so I'm hoping for the best. Very easy to assemble Recommened, and only attachments I've used so far work well, and are easy to use. Doing a good job on the new carpet in my bedrooms and stairs. Works well on the hardwood on my main floor too. Reasonable weight and cord length. I already knew from an earlier review that it wouldn't fit under furniture, but I can use my Eufy for that, so no problem - the high traffic areas that need a stronger suction was really what I bought this for. If it continues as it's started, it will be a good buy and well worth the money. I have had two Shark Rocket stick vacs in the past that are super easy to use, but the motors just don't last well, even with scrupulous cleaning of the filters. I'm hoping for better with this Bissell.
Had my Roomba iRobot since 2006/7 and this is identical except a couple of minor modifications. Now in 2019 and still going as good as new - just need a brush bearing which seems to have fell off when emptying and cleaning. Still with its original battery and will still run 45 minutes to an hour. Worth every penny and a fantastic vacuum that does the daily clean while i walk the dog, other than that its a big dyson and its hand held cousin.
you Know the best i have found for cleaning the been is a can of air, you know the kind you use to clean off computers, makes that bin look factory clean and new every time
It works pretty well🌼 It wanders around the house like a drunk toddler. I got it because I was cat sitting. The cat left and I didn’t want to vacuum. The bin fills up if I’m particularly slobbish, but for most cleaning it does my 900sf main level. Mostly hardwood and rugs. 200sf carpet. Takes about 3 hours and a charge stop. I don’t care cuz I’m not at home. It has made my bachelor pad much more lady friendly. I’d buy another.
Where do you find I Robot rumba info,,, I have 4 and the brushes don't fit in the one that needed a new brush? Where do I find the model to order the correct brush part. It says I Robot Roomba on top, nothing else, inside: serial # JBN805021708220300068. Input 19-24V. The brushes must be for larger Roomba or am I missing something? The replacement brush I ordered from Amazon is too big..Again, I have 4 so this may be older but NOT THAT old!!! Thank you for your posting this, very helpful....LMK which brush to order if you have a chance.
Hi Susan i hope this helps, by your SN provided it looks that you have a model 502, this is the brush you need www.amazon.com/3-Armed-Brushes-iRobot-Replacement-Accessories/dp/B085RYTBQF/ref=sr_1_34?dchild=1&keywords=roomba+500+brush&qid=1596469141&sr=8-34 go to the roomba site in case that's not the model number and you should see a picture of what you have.. although the model number should be by the wheel from what I read...
Hi Warren, thank you for the great video! Good to see a nice handy instruction how to clean that baby :-) May I ask: what multitool are you using there exactly? Cheers, Arianna

I too use compressed air.
Mine keeps showing a basket with lines thru it.
Thank you. I use a small new inexpensive paint brush for the Roomba bin.

Ha ha, great to hear you're keeping the bachelor pad in tip top condition!
I ran the bin under the sink and got some water stuck under the battery can I wait till that dries?
My mind keeps hearing debris extractor as “Debra’s tractor.”
Thanks for very good video.
Me suddenly realizing that i need to clean my roomba and awaiting the horror that awaits
Can you recycle an air filter by cleaning such? Versus trashing it and replacing with a new one?

Raise your hand if you’re watching this video because your pet poo’ed on the floor and your roomba started cleaning the floors 🤗
It makes a smeared mess on the floor and clogs the unit.
Pulled & cleaned the rollers the attachment trim as well as the base of the unit, wheels, etc.
Ended up getting water in the right drive wheel assembly and had to replace.
All is good now
Thank you!
