Lol, I got triple silent pox bursters yesterday. This game bounces between really fun and really really toxic. And like my ex, after a couple rounds both my emotions and fingers are extremely tired.
I have a shovel but it has terrible crowd control and high defense. I should roll another but ya know i hate gambling in this game even though often times it pays off.
Damn, I had a mk V latrine where rngesus blessed me with Thrust and Brutal Momentum at the same time.. but my dumb ass replaced Thrust with Skullcrusher x)
Psyker is so op....the skill gap is just really high you can't take a hit so movement and high DPS are your friend....give it a shot you might like it more especially gun psyker!
I would avoid Psyker in CIVI mission after playing them sometime now. They are super anemic to play, rendering the game almost no fun to play for everyone due to how op they could be for seasoned players. Staff abuse, dueling sword, and smite. Basically you removed attritions and resources management out of the game when playing staff Psyker. I rather go shovel ogryn or zealot crusher club or knife vet just to have more challenge. But going scrier gaze full melee force sword with superiority blessing Psyker is pretty funny for CIVI. But it is still op regardless. Psyker needs redesign. It is no fun playing as Psyker for me when I have the ability to kill everything on the map.
Heavy hits part of the tree isnt worth it when you have good gear its the difference of killing stuff with one hit or 2, with bonuses from other players the heavy line of the tree isnt worth it Bog bois get screwed its gunner boi or melee boi and nothing else
Bully club 3 goes down hit the heavy hit, then down the middle can solo every boss, just by holding heavy hit as the toughness you get back per hit is more than they can take per hit... it's not as if you can hit over 70% damage reduce on big bois oh wait you can

Darktide is the only game ive ever played where i feel like all enemies hate you and the devs dont want you to have fun
My problem is mostly silent dogs and trappers.

the simplicity of rock and gonk is relaxing, i watched this with lofi in another window and it was an experience.

The mkV shovels always one-shots mutants with a heavy pickaxe hit. Makes the rock redundant.
It's no ammo pick up so rocks save ammo for specials kills.

Noooo. Shovel has too many blessings too so it might be hard to craft another decent one.

Yup. One-shotting 4 crushers is very fair and balanced. Still more fun than Psyker and krak vet build.
Psyker is the most fun class! Although I admit this build is quite funny. Mixed horde clear is kinda tough though if no space to do the special heavy.

Trauma staff is literally sexy I been running guns and assail for the high mobility crit

This shovel is brutal but i wish you didnt have to activate the heavy attack again and again after a kill. Annoying asf
True I only like to play this shovel in heavy armoured modifier. otherwise it's too tedious
