- Indiahikes founder Arjun Majumdar Reviews the AdventureWorx Xplore 55 Backpack. He took it on a 7 day Himalayan Trek.
He says this backpack was at par with some of the best backpacks that he has used. He reviews this backpack on 5 factors
1. Structure
2. Compartments
3. Accessories
4. Design and Look
5. Cost
He rates each of these components on a scale of 5. At the end of the video he gives a final verdict on the backpack.
The backpack's structure is pretty amazing. When it is filled it takes a lovely hourglass shape. It shifts the weight from top to bottom providing just the right balance. This is very important because it provides stability on a trek.
The compartments are absolutely perfect. All the standard compartments are there. This is what is expected from any top branded backpack. The compartment to place a water-bottle is spacious along with the added compression strap. The waist band is also very useful to keep things that you will needed again and again like GPS, camera etc. s everything. There is a lot of inner space for clothes and sleeping bags.
The various accessories like straps , buckles, etc. are of top quality Shoulder straps are perfect.- not too padded not too thin. Waist padding is the right amount. It fits very well and makes the backpack sturdy.
Design and looks are excellent. The basic design looks really good when you wear the backpack. The colour goes very well with yellow and black contrasting.
When it comes to costing, it is fairly priced. Given it's premium quality design and materials used, it comes to par with the standard pricing.
Watch the full video too see how Arjun Majumdar rates each component, and gives his final verdict.

This is one of the best rucksack bags I have ever used. Have tried multiple international brands on the treks but using Adventure Worx for the past three years and they are the best. Highly recommended for high latitude treks. The best part is it's completely designed and made in India with great customer service.
Adventure worx is probably my go to brand for any rucksack needs. I’ve been using their Xplore backpack for over a year now and it’s everything I’ve ever needed to carry around. The quality is just great and the comfort is perfect. Even after a long day, the backpack doesn’t wear you down. The best feature I loved in their backpack is the Airwire tech which keeps the back airy and doesn’t make me sweat like other backpacks. Would love to get my hands on this rucksack for a trek, hopefully soon!😊
I think this is the first time IH has uploaded any product review on utube.. Till now it was difficult to reach to this section on their own website.
Good initiative.
Glad you like it Vivek. You'll see a lot more of these coming up! :)
@@Indiahikes thanks, pls do it for more specialized products also... Something like Swati did for sunglasses for those who wear power glasses... Thanks..
@@Indiahikes is this sufficient for 7 to 10 days?
@@vivekpurshottam6601 is this sufficient for 7 to 10 days?
I used the very same bag for my Annapurna circuit trek. The bag held great for the entire trek. Only damage to the bag was a scratch due to rat attack at high camp the day before thorong la pass. 😁
₹5600 seems to be a little overpriced for a 55L backpack. Any reason why people will prefer this brand over Forclaz/Wildcraft/Trawoc/Impulse?
I’m using this now, trust me, the R&D behind the aerodynamics of bag this deserves it. Would compare it with a Ospra. Never harsh on your shoulders or back.
@@koushikreddy6084 Hi Koushik, would you recommend me to go with this one for long term use or the forclaz mt500 priced at 6999 and space of 50+10 l?
I saw this video today morning and I'm glad that someone is reviewing this Indian made product.
I bought explore series 35L which cost me 3.5k and I'm really happy with the quality of the product also they are running a FREE Himalaya trek contest and I hope I'll win 😝 Thank you @adventureworx and good video @indiahikes 👍
Why Does it look like a paid promotion ?
Thanks for a detailed video on this rucksack. Can you also please review the Tripole Walker Series rucksacks 55/65L? They seem to be very capable at a good price point.
Can you recommend the Decathlon Bagpack for trekking & pls tell which one is best in Decathlon Bagpack for 5 days Trekking...🙏
Which other backpacks do you suggest, comparable with standards of Forclaz? I would like to see videos on such comparison from Indiahikes, as not much content is available.
i think tripole gears backpacks are much more economical , rough and well design as compare to any Indian brand at present. their recent model walker pro 60 litter has nailed it and on top of it any damage to bag which is repairable is covered under 1 year warranty. Everyone who is reading this comment and thinking of buying a rucksack do give a try to tripole gears.
I want more videos on beginner and budget friendly rucksacks, I did checkout the decathlon range but could not make a decision. I don't want to invest in something that demotivate me😁.
Hi India Hike!
Did they change the minor problems?
Water proof hai ya water resitant & rain cover hai ?
Would love to buy it if there is a version of 65-70L.
is u find something? m looking for the same
@@Lostandfoundhere lol.... Btw I still didn't buy one 😒
my North face after 20 year of service retired This month. Now it will be used to carry potatos and onions from the market. 😂 m looking for some strong bag for mountaineering in Himalayas. I might go for red fox macalu.
Your regular / recommended backpack ?
Is there a giveaway 😅
How about the gray strips on yellow are fluorescent,
I didn't find the inner support part of this sack,I mean to say is there any aluminium frame/strip like other rucksack.please let me know
In some bags the support is visible outside, in some its hidden, If you have used one of our rental backpacks then the support is hidden inside
@@Indiahikes that means alluminium support is there which is hidden, right??pls let me know,I need it urgently
@@rajatsubhradas0123 hey what you bought after in final?
now a days width of straps .which mostly brands are doing is thin , just to save more on weight of bag, cuz the lighter our pack is the more good for us
Sir we can find two varients Xplore 55 in yellow colour and another in blue Xplore 55n. Are both same?
Hey what you find or what you bought?
@@boganx1291 have purchased blue one which in comparison bit rough than other colours. About quality of buckle and cloth as well

@@Indiahikes I'm trying to purchase one from the USA but can't change shipping country from India. Is there any place in the USA that sells Adventure Worx?

Arjun Sir why choose a corner of your grass courtyard for review which can very well be done on anywhere else more 'normal'
It is definitely over priced. ... Anyway not what I am looking for.
can anyone recommend good hiking/travel bagpack under 2k budget for around 50-60 l VOLUME
Hi,
Getting a high quality back pack under Rs. 2,000 will be slightly challenging. However, if you are planning to trek with us you may choose to rent a backpack.
Definitely overpriced
Tripole Walker 65 litres Rucksack with 20 Litre Foldable Day Pack | Internal Frame with Metal Rod | Rain Cover | Bottom Opening | Laptop Section (Black)
Cost : 2500 rs
For a 6 ft person , 65 ltr is best not just considering the trek but the extra stuff needed to travel till the base village from our hometowns ,( 1 or 2 days journey)
Since I have seen friends use Tripole in treks the quality is not great. Hardly it will last you for a trek or two.
When you are on a trek you make sure you don't carry unwanted stuff and hence drop them in the base camp so undoubtedly you need two backpacks.
@@punithp7622 did 53 treks in tripole bags
About the luggage , I meant, there is nothing bad in in carrying a 65 ltr bag with less luggage. Drop the extra on the base village.
Beginners should not buy a 5 - 6 K bag.
Start small (small treks , small bags ) and then based on your requirements and needs keep upgrading , the one that I have mentioned is sufficient for a 5-6 days trek.
@@trekkerashish2872 53 is a mind-boggling number. Great.
Carrying a bag on a trek that is not completely full, even with adjusting the compression straps might have an impact on the back for the shake and etc.
@@punithp7622 adjusting strap does work 😅, it also has a 20 ltr extra added bag for summit push
@@trekkerashish2872 I completely understand. Maybe it's ur personal choice as a brand but when someone like India Hikes reviews a racksack there is something different and useful. Recommend you buy one and use it to know the difference.
