El meson de la cava is an old restaurant maybe more than 50 years old , an exclusive upscale restaurant one of a kind, the Guacara Taína is/was a different place located more west on the mirador sur.

I’m not sure where I’m gonna go first my wife loves a good steak. I can’t eat them currently but that’s a story for another time. If I find myself in town, I’ll give you a shout. Of those six, I've only visited Two: Don pepe, and Meson de la Cava, definitely great ones. My Recommendations for you: 1-Nipau: great pasta and seafood 2-Laurel: Very mixed menú (Rissotto Is amazing) 3- Buche Perico @t Zona Colonial: Mostly a standard menú with a Mediterranean and local touch, beautiful ambient (great cocktails) 4- Elizondo: Spanish Food (very good meat's and seafood) 5- La Bodega.
Great options except for Buche Perico. I've eaten there and didn't like it. I don't like any restaurant in Zona Colonial. Laurel I've been to. It's good too. Nipa, Elizondo, and La Bodega have been on my list. I definitely want to try them.

Nice video and great selection of restaurants , Turo's definitely best Steak House in town ,is not a coincidence that it's the best Steakhouse and Don Pepe the best Seafood restaurant they're both owned by the same family, You should Try San Marzano in Blue Mall and Casa Luca both are great.
I love all the restaurant that I visited while in SD, the food 🥘 is great. Each one has their own specialty. I remember the Cave, the atmosphere and service was amazing. I loved been under ground, yes, the Cave is top of the list.

I visited the cave restaurant and the club for the 1st time in the mid 90s it was incredible then. It was an amazing night. They had a famous merengue band at the time and the elections had just taken place. A jumbo Presidente beer was $15.00 pesos. Life is beatufil.
Good food (cheaper than the US), great weather, nice beaches friendly people. that is the life. I envy you, especially now that the winter is approaching in the East of USA. Enjoy yourself.

Yes El conocu is a good restaurant but it sells traditional Dominican food. These restaurants aren't like that. I will do a video on traditional Dominican food restaurants.

Ive been to the Caves. It feels very romantic . You can take some amazing pictures there. The food is good and the experience is amazing. The staff was very nice. These are all High-End fancy restaurants. What about Good vibes, good food and good people? Where are the real hidden gems?

The restaurant itself is very nice. Recommend to go on a day that isn’t too hot to sit outside, since it’s very nice scenery.

Now Don Pe Pe is definitely very Elegant…. I’ve been visiting Pe Pe since 2017… the Stuffed Crab Avocado is the best… yea your gone pay for it but it definitely worth it… very classy. And El Conuco is a damm good one as well, real homie now to pricy.. I’m gonna have try Toro out as mention.

The Zone isn't consistent and can be hit or miss... but Maracas has always been A+ whenever I've dined there. I loved Vasuvios, unfortunately it closed. Great choices tho.

Loretta and Okazu, I've been to both. Okazu love their sushi. I've passed by Mijas many times. La Rambla has been on my places to visit for a while. And I've never heard of Maneki Neko.

@@JayAbroadfacts. I do like the cafe at the El Conde hotel😮 Nice spot for a light lunch and excellent view of the plaza, but not a decent selection of restaurants in the area. There is a steakhouse on the Plaza Espana I may try out.

Loretta and Okazu, I've been to both. Okazu love their sushi. I've passed by Mijas many times. La Rambla has been on my places to visit for a while. And I've never heard of Maneki Neko.
HIGUERO.... is a restaurant to check out. Family fruendly....serves typical dominican food. Upscale-ish.

I went to turo twice last month I had the T-bone steak the first time second time I Had the rib eye steak have you ever went to rancho steak house is pretty descent as well
