I now recommend practicing in Red vs Blue Rumble - MAP CODE: 6207-0778-2857. I no longer recommend Anvil Square deathmatch or Coney Crossroads. They are not populated enough, and often the players there are very skilled.
"Make them chase you." I ended up playing Trios alone today because my teammates left and making the teams chase me is exactly what I did. Almost as fun a one vs Squads. I got third place.
I've won battle royale in build mode quite a few times, but not since this new chapter dropped. For the last two weeks, I've used your strategies and come in second so many times with more than 5 kills. I've also enjoyed the game even more because the confidence has me finding cool things all over the map.
The swapping tip for me…with a shotgun shot first! I usually just spray first then shotgun. I’ve only been playing since Christmas it’s soooo very addictive lol. Great video I will definitely try that tip 😊
How do you move well in close range fights, I feel like good players all hit me easily close up, they don't miss at all, I don't know what im doing wrong with my movement.
Those are the hardest, especially against controller players because the aim assist is so strong that they lock on at close range. You have to jump, slide, clamber to try to break it for a moment and gain the advantage. This video might help you with general movement: th-cam.com/video/f2Z321QE4Gc/w-d-xo.html
Sorry, it was actually at the very end of the video... its the "how to get good fast at any game" video. Highly recommend it if you are "serious" about getting good at a game.
Thank you Shevaun! ❤️ checkout my "under the hood" videos as well. People seem to be getting a lot of value from those and they expand on what's being said here.
What do you have your sensitivity set on? I really appreciate all your videos, I played in seasons 2 and 3 when it first came out, ended up taking some years off but now I'm back in and was struggling to get used to all the new things they added to the game (i.e. sliding, large jumps, and all the odm gear and junk.) Watching your game play allowed me to learn about all the new gear and how to improve my game play!
I've been playing on switch. I tried computer 1 day and never had a chance to even begin lol but that was also before the days of all these practice maps. 😅 I have ptsd from that day and haven't been brave enough to try again! Lol
"Head glitch" was already common usage when Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 1 and 2 were new games. The visuals of it were egregious; the camera angle presented to the player was high enough on their model that they could stand behind a box, and shoot over top of it. From target's viewpoint, the enemy's hat is the only thing visible, which shoots them. That's when I first heard the term anyway. It's at least 14+ years old.
Ah, so that's where it stems from. Now it's not so much a "glitch" just a tactic to have an advantage. Sounds like it was literally a Glitch in early COD
These deathmatch maps are good, but very frustrating. There Is alot of good players there and you gotta earn your kills but that makes ppl third partying and getting both kill that much more raging
Yeah. But it's good to play against solid players because it will accelerate your skill building - forcing you to adapt and get better to compete. Also each kill re-heals you. So it teaches you to end fights quickly. Science show that when you are the most frustrated you actually learn the most, so push through it and keep training and you will get better 💪
@@TobyWanShinobi That's the only thing I play as of now ^^ but It's the opposite of the TDM maps, alot of casuals just trying to hace fun with rocket launchers or snipers. I'm playing It because there Is always alot of ppl playing It where as TDM, It's between 9 and 40 ppl everytime I look
For sure. With Red v Blue you often have to back out and re-queue a couple times to get a good lobby where you can actually practice well without people just camping in their spawn or using rockets. As soon as rockets come out, I usually move to a different lobby or call my warmup over.

Damage output matters... you can hit someone with a maven from 20 meters out, while someone hits you with a sharptooth and swaps to an smg - they are going to be doing far more damage. Watch my shotgun aim training video to make sure you are hitting BIG shotgun damage and not just 40s or 50s per shot.
@@TobyWanShinobi I’ll check out. It gets frustrating losing every 50/50 fight especially when I try to avoid them as much as possible. And thank you for your videos 🙏🏼
@@TobyWanShinobi bro, I can’t thank you enough. I’ve been doing the aim mechanics and pit zero build creative using your tips.
