Well that does make sense what you're saying but I think it makes sense that you should pay with your teammates because I've seen like when I do that myself but it really is true that it works
This is an excellent video and speaks to what I try to tell my rando's in a duos/trios lobby, and this is spot on! I have a regular team mate that I jam with. By applying these I went from a 12.7% win rate with a 3.68k/d in C4S2 to a 33% win rate with a 7.24k/d in C4S3. Thank you for sharing this video, hopefully this reaches a lot of players who didn't know this.
I'm only playing for a month, I have severe skill issues, I loose my temper under pressure too often, I often do not even use the basic concepts I do understand, yet this one is very clear to me. On our better duo days with my slightly more skillful pal we bring home VRs. And when communication, coordination doesn't work as it should and could, we're helplessly slained. One thing to add though: being supportive and appeciative with your teammates boost their performance, while being toxic, judgemental or putting the blame on them will just make them play worse. There is a time to evaluate what happened: after the match. And even then if you feel you have to point out a weakness in cooperation, be compassionate and be open to criticism yourself.

Anyway, thank you very much for this video. It helped me a lot, and I'm sure with more of your guides ill just keep improving.
I could put this video on loop on every TV in my house forever and still find my two sons wandering off on their own mid game, finally asking for backup when they are one tap and then complaining that nobody came to help out. The problem is they are good enough to win a lot of fights with 2-3 players so they often get away with it, but they always run out of luck sooner or later. I've pointed out how we have won so many games with great comms, emphasise how powerful it is to work together but 10 mins later they are back to playing as if most kills wins. Like herding cats! Yea, what comes off as the right move sometimes is exhausting to some players eventually. Some people just don't like what I like to call " a slow game ". They need that adrenaline to stay interested, so if they feel like someone is holding them back from pressing that " move forward button " to find another face, they'll lose patience and go and find trouble lol

Good tips. Covers almost everything. I think your tips on communication are great. @@TobyWanShinobi the price is good if you are a master in what you do my friend, you are a zerobuild expert, but what do you know about normal BR modes, the rotations, stormsurge spots etc are a bit different.
My biggest problem since I've gotten decent at the game is being impatient with my teammates. They want to completely loot everything until they get the exact loadout they want with a decent rarity before they move on and I'm fine taking off with a gray pump, any secondary, and anything with some range until I can get something better off an enemy. I'm also bad at communicating when and how I'm rotating. I just expect everybody to go to the right place at the right time but people that don't have a lot of experience with br's just don't know.
I'm the same and I'm just trying to do better with patience and encouraging my teammates to move quicker - give them a goal (boss comes in soon, lets move out so we can get god loot, or eliminate other players for loot, etc. Its always more efficient to kill another team for loot.
Yes, this is a separate skill itself. Plan rotations around the storm for sure... Always arrive early if you can. Probably should have mentioned it more here. Good call.

@@TobyWanShinobi yes, I'm connected to a WiFi network but the router is about 3mts of distance, and the computer doesn't seem to have connectivity issues should I try using a wired connection 🤔💭
Great video but how do we deal with someone who 1) runs off hundreds of meters away because he thinks he can take a whole squad and dies. And 2) someone who doesn’t want you to shoot at who ever he’s shooting or help him in fights because you “taking his kill”
You need to have an honest conversation with him. 1) Ask him to wait up and you will join him shortly. Let him know that if he dies then the team is at a big disadvantage and might lose the game. First person to go down is usually the cause of a loss... 2) Once you've played enough team shooters, you'll realize there is no such thing as a "kill steal" anyone who thinks that is doing themselves a huge disservice. If they want a good chance at getting a kill - then they should hit more shots. I've played 10 years of competitve FPS games and I'm always team shotting with teammates because its the most effective way to play - I'm not going to hold fire and risk a teammate or myself dying so that they can have a number added to the stat board. Even if they aren't in danger, holding fire on an enemy give other enemies the chance to sneak up on you while you waste time watching your teammate fight someone without your help. And yes, I get accused of stealing kills all the time, but its odd that people try to "steal my kills" and can't seem to do so - because I just land more shots. In the end, it is a team game and you should care about the team success - which means keeping everyone alive, together and getting the win. If you are worried about kill stealing, deep down you are being kind of selfish and you are focusing on the wrong thing. If there is ONE STAT that matters - its damage done, not kills.
My little bro tells me not to kill anyone when we play duos and it gets so annoying to the point that if he gets knocked i leave him :\ I need to show my bro this video

Also don't yell at your teammates and blame them for everything lol😂. Especially yelling, it can cause unnecessary pressure and cause them to play worse and make them second guess in fights. In the end it's a game, majority of us make no money and don't get paid from Epic 😂. So try to also have fun and enjoy time with your friends.
Exactly, we are all here to have fun. Don't treat everybody as if they play fortnite 7 days a week and study the game like you. Be patient with teammates and laugh it off when things go south... never take it out on them, cuz chances are they already feel terrible and it doesn't help anyone.
Yeah, all you can do in that situation is give first... drop loot, point loot out, give them the feeling you want to get them good equipment and help them, they will usually return the favor.
LOL... maybe say something along the lines of "oh my god guys... I didn't realize how much of this I was doing, apparently I am a terrible teammate... link. (sometimes you gotta take the bullet for the team haha)
I try to be a good teammate... I really do. If you play with random people though or even friends sometimes... You hear this " Dude you stole my kill! " Like buddy! We on the same team. Only kill count I'm looking at is the team kill count. It doesn't matter who gets the last hit! Omg, why are people so aggressive about kill steals. There are plenty times I do 90% of the damage to a player and someone else gets the last hit. It doesn't bother me in the slightest. Also, god forbid you pick up a key from the body on accident, I'm getting vocally abused even before I have a chance to drop it for them ( which I always do just because I don't want to hear the arguements ). I always respect a key if I saw them do more damage to the target than I did. I act respectfully always and still run into people who just want to be rough on headset. This has lead to me using my mic/headset less because I don't want to go off on people exhibiting this behavior, which happens all too often.
Yeah random pubs can be rough like that... the kill stealing thing is something that bad players just don't understand. For one, they have an ego issue. And secondly, team shooting is the most effective way to play the game. The only stat that matters is the Victory and damage dealt. A lot of the people that whine about kill stealing are the same ones that can't put up good damage and feel inferior, so they use the "elim" stat as a way to prove they did well. No, if you want to play well - play with your team, I have zero interest in how many kills you got - but if you save my life when I need you, I won't forget it.
The moment I see this happen in a public lobby, I just quit to main menu. No question about it. Not going to waste my time with people that don't even know to land at least in the same zone.
Squads w/ Fill is complete garbage. People never heal/revive/reboot you. I play with my 3 kids but that's it. Easy for me to yell at them when they're in the same room :)
I love your vids bro, dont get me wrong. I will always watch them, but, it seems like the players you are fighting are not the same cailbur of player i go against. I would never ever have a player just sitting in a bush while i run around looking, and then walk up on them without a shot taken at you? Nah, wouldnt happen to me or anyone in my lobby. It just doesnt make sense sometimes because it seems like the players you go against are super BOTTY. Only saying this because.youre extremely good at this game, but the players you go against just sit and wait for you in a bush without contest ? Just super SUS and weird.
I appreciate the "It's probably not your teammates fault" vibe.

I don't play normal BR builds. Sorry! The training is combat focused mostly unless they need to work on rotations, positioning, etc
Appreciate your video man helped me and my team a whole lot. God bless
Never forget clock management too many BR players miss how important it is to keep track of new storms n zones.
Yes, this is a separate skill itself. Plan rotations around the storm for sure... Always arrive early if you can. Probably should have mentioned it more here. Good call.
Another banger Thankyou ❤
Another amazing video!
My teammates all about kills so they be leaving all the time man. If they see a red shooting indicator go off up top..or someone hits that bounty board....they gone man. Then when they die...its my fault i ain't wit em. 😂🤦♂️
dude i love this vid but i kinda need an advice my duo dont have a gun and sometimes forget to mark
Toby!! Can you make another video like this, but for this current season? This was very helpful, and still is. But i'd like a good instructional video like this one but in this current season, so i have something to send to my team mates. They're a bit too casual and don't have much game sense, i'd like to try to help LOL
"It's okay to sacrifice some action, for the team to have a higher success rate"
Listen I here you Toby, but my squad takes so long to loot, I always tell them "I'm going towards the fight, if I die, I'm sorry" lol. The more I push my 1vX limits the more I can get away with
Haha, trust me I know the feeling 😅
Now if I could get my squad to actually do these suggestions! Rabble

But talk a bittle more of the battle commands and warning communication.

Hi How are you!? Great channel!! I really enjoy your videos...
I got the game changing on every match, after a few minutes after landing, the game closes and shows me a message...
I start experiencing this about two weeks ago, at that time only crashes once or twice a day... But this week it happened on every match i play...
Do you know something about that??
Are you on Wifi? are you too far from your router?
@@TobyWanShinobi yes, I'm connected to a WiFi network but the router is about 3mts of distance, and the computer doesn't seem to have connectivity issues should I try using a wired connection 🤔💭
How are you able to be so smooth in red vs blue tobi wan I can be smooth in ZB but in red vs blue I'm constantly getting shot in the back
I have a video idea how to handle island 🏝️ how to handle island solo dropping in with no1 and expecting enemies how to handle and also as a team
It’s unfortunate that none of my friends/ teammates wnat to have good strategies or loadouts that help everyone they just want to play to play
Maybe send them this video :)
Failure to plan is planning to fail.
I'm super guilty of looting while my team is fighting. 😞 It's not often but I cringe a little each time I do it.
W's as always Toby!!!
Awesome and informative video I shared it with all the people I play with thank you for making it I am sure it will help us win more games
Anybody have similar videos to advanced strategies, tactics or maneuvers?
Where do you get these people to play with
Join the Shinobi Clan (click the join button and join the discord by visiting my yt page and going to membership tab then scrolling down, then link your yt account). You'll get access to awesome resources and tons of cool people to play with!
Good tips 😅
My old friends always went so far away without saying and it was so annoying!
Does anyone know if Toby has a discord server would be extremely helpful for finding someone to play with
I do, but it is private and members only. If you become a shinobi clan member you can join in! A master membership also gets your training 3 days a week.
I love zero build team gamemodes but I have the most inconsistent friends on planet earth so I mostly play solos :(
At the left handed peaks in the beginning 😔
Also don't yell at your teammates and blame them for everything lol😂. Especially yelling, it can cause unnecessary pressure and cause them to play worse and make them second guess in fights. In the end it's a game, majority of us make no money and don't get paid from Epic 😂. So try to also have fun and enjoy time with your friends.
Exactly, we are all here to have fun. Don't treat everybody as if they play fortnite 7 days a week and study the game like you. Be patient with teammates and laugh it off when things go south... never take it out on them, cuz chances are they already feel terrible and it doesn't help anyone.

what pushes me from duos is selfishness like people never even give anything or leave anything
Yeah, all you can do in that situation is give first... drop loot, point loot out, give them the feeling you want to get them good equipment and help them, they will usually return the favor.

So how do I send this to my squad without saying “PAY ATTENTION, DUMBASS!” 😂😂 including myself 😂😂
LOL... maybe say something along the lines of "oh my god guys... I didn't realize how much of this I was doing, apparently I am a terrible teammate... link. (sometimes you gotta take the bullet for the team haha)
tip: NEVER LAND SLAPPY SHORES!!!!
@@TobyWanShinobi Thank you for this comment! I appreciate your opinion.

Commenting for support G i love ur sh!t
biggest problem i see is people not landing together.
Yeah that's a huge issue and basically a GG
The moment I see this happen in a public lobby, I just quit to main menu. No question about it. Not going to waste my time with people that don't even know to land at least in the same zone.
Squads w/ Fill is complete garbage. People never heal/revive/reboot you.

Ayyyy 1st!
