I just put some in my car 2 days ago like the directions said and I drove the car around no problems today, while 2 weeks ago my car overheated for no real good reason so I stopped the car and drove home. Two garages told me the head gasket was bad and I wasn't going to spend a couple of grand saving a car I got for $500 anyway. I will drive it some more later today after work for errands. Today it warmed up to normal and then got a little warm at red lights and then cooled back down to normal as I started moving, just like a normal car that works correctly.
I used it had anyifreeze mixed in my oil blown head gasket ,i flushed the radiator, flushed the engine oil ,took out the thermostat put .new oil in it let it set over night to get good and cold next morning put in the blue devil in the engine block run on idle for a hr so far so got no headgasket leak realy worlth trying 50 bucks and a little work save u a bunch money i highly recommend it.
A mechanic told me about this product, and it really works, but only a small pin hole leak not a big hole, it's been allmost 3 years still going strong, yes it's expensive, but it really works, and saving you thousands of dollars 👍👍👍👍👍👍
That's how I picture this stuff to work. It's good for minor stuff but not after the valve cover gets all warped and the car drinks through all it's coolant and burns a mix of oil, gas and coolant out the muffler.
If your transmission is leaking its better to install the pan gasket because to be honest i wouldn't put bluedevil or any other chemicals in the transmission.
What made you to use blueDevil Puer n go? When you have a white smoke coming out from your exhaust system? How did you determine that u only need that bottle and not the other one 32 oz with yellow sticker? . My wife's car Nissan murano v6 I can see white smoke is that a blow head gasket?
You have to get it checked out to make sure its a blown head gasket, mine was a headgasket because it overheated on the highway , I have a 4 cylinder engine thats why I only used that small bottle.
@@dannysautorepair the Nissan Murano is not overheating, just when we turn the heat on we smell like a plastic ruber burning and I can see white smoke getting out from exhaust system and check engine light the code :Air fuel sensor ratio .
That might not be a headgasket issue, it could be a sensor problem. Get it checked out at a auto shop and they can tell you which one you need to replace.
@@dannysautorepair thanks for your reply and opinion because I am worry that could be a expensive repair after looking information about head gasket replacement, and some bad mechanics are cheaters don't tell you the problem is something minor because they want charge more money. 👍🤝 I used my scanner the code : P1273 Air Fuel Ratio sensor 1 bank 1
Do you think it’d be safe to use on my 1995 LS400? I need to transport it and can’t fix it where it’s currently at, I just need to get it 700 more miles
@@jagblue81 It turns out that the guy that diagnosed my car got it wrong and it wasn't the head gasket. I had a friend that is a mechanic look at it and it turns out that it wasn't the head gasket. It was just air in the the engine not allowing the coolant to flow in, causing the engine to over heat. It took 10 min and he fixed the problem.
Maby it was clogged before you poured it in, remove the thermostat. Usually when the head gasket is going bad you can see the mud like substance on the oil cap
The one i bought was a smaller size than the other regular bluedevil. Thats for a much bigger engine, also if im not mistaken with the regular big bottle you have to drain the coolant and use it with only water, this other one I used works with coolant and no need to drain your coolant.
@@dannysautorepair I appreciate your input.... Little milky oil under oil cap but not on dip stick, very slow internal coolant leak, misfires at start up, coolant burning off for about a minute Does not over heat But still scared to use, I hear lots of horror stories. Would you still recommend?

And new update ?
You stated you waited for the thermostat to open? Aren't you supposed to take out the thermostat per the instructions
No not with this one.

The yellow label is made for bigger leaks.
How long after you use it can you tell if it worked??? how long will smoke?
Give it about 30 min
Will this work with a warped block
Not sure but you can definitely give it a try .
Did you use up the whole bottle or only half
Yes I used the whole bottle
Can you put Blue Devil transmission sealer in a 2017 Dodge Caravan

Yes but follow the directions closely.
How's the car running now?
I sold it but the blue devil definitely worked .
whats better or any difference between the pure n go and the other one that you use water
Bluedevil is very good just follow the directions on the bottle .
I think it depends on the size of your engine.
Yellow label works better
Yellow label you gotta remove the thermostat and most cars only need half a bottle of the yellow label.
My 2007 jeep commander has a blown head gasket maybe I should try this to see if it works

I recommend it but follow the instructions on the bottle or it will not work. Also after you finish doing it change your oil and filter
