Sombra’s invisibility has no indicator unless she walks too close to someone or is spotted by an ability. She uncloaks herself tho when she attacks. The invisibility is mostly needed to get behind enemy lines and hack the right targets. The hack just stops the enemy from using abilities and her ult is a big area of effect hack.
Okay, so attacking does reveal her. That makes sense. And since she is a hacker it also makes sense that she is just sneaking around hacking stuff 🙂
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames In Overwatch 2, she'll be able to hack while invisible (Though she'll be briefly revealed during the hack) and Hack will no longer disable abilities for its full duration, instead for just one second. A trade off is that Sombra will deal extra damage to hacked opponents, and they become visible through walls for her team for the entire direction. And her EMP will now deal damage to all targets equal to 40% of the enemy's current HP but no longer destroy all shield health as a trade off.
The little circle Baptiste deploys temporarily makes you invincible until it is either destroyed or time runs out. Pretty sweet skill set on him

I just finished going through your whole overwatch playlist yesterday so this was a real nice surprise! I think you guys have pretty much gone through all the overwatch content but there is a classic stop motion video by blizzard called Trace & Bake (featuring tracer and reaper) for the overwatch anniversary if you're interested.
oh my, Trace & Bake is my favorite!
There's also the Archives event story missions (3 of them now) with cinematics and decent in-game chatter and world building, each runs about 10-15 minutes.
Glad there is still some Overwatch left. And we have some unofficial stuff like the Overwatch vs TF2 vids 😁
Sigma has got to be my favorite of these characters you've watched. His primary fire, the hyperspheres, bounce off of anything they can't do damage to, making them great for trick shots around corners. His barrier is the most mobile in the game, making it ideal allowing your team to push forward. His accretion (the rock ability) is the only damaging projectile in the game that can't be deflected by Genji or absorbed by D.Va's Defense Matrix or Sigma's final ability, the Kinetic Grasp. The Kinetic Grasp allows Sigma to absorb projectiles, and depending on how much damage he absorbs, can gain up to 400 extra shields effectively doubling his health pool making him that much more of a threat. His ultimate is Gravitic Flux, where Sigma gains unrestricted flight and, once an area is selected, lift enemies into the air for a moment before slamming them back down, dealing damage equal to 50% of their current max HP, meaning if anyone is half health or lower when they hit the ground, they instantly die. He's a bit complex to get the hang of and requires a lot of cooldown management and careful positioning as he has no mobility tools, but he's so much fun.
Sigma sounds super fun to play with if you can get the hang of him. Bet there is a bit of a learning curve but worth it if you can master him 🤩

I love playing as Asche as she has a great weapon that has a nice range attack and her dynamite attack is really cool. It really good to get with people with it since like it shows in the trailer you can shoot the dynamite to really get it to blow up early. My other favorite is Orisa as she a great tank and can help hold a chokepoint to the character. Its been really fun to play with all of the characters.
Nice. Love Ashe and we haven’t seen too many people point out Orisa so it’s nice seeing her get some love 😊
Several of these characters had their kits changed since the initial launch, but Sombra had the most number of reworks since her trailer reveal. I actually started playing Overwatch because of Moira--I loved her look and her character (the idea of an evil healer was so much fun!!). I'd love to see if there's a side-by-side comparison of character gameplay "at launch" vs how they are now just to show how much the game has evolved over the years.

Update on Jamal he woke from his coma this morning around 3am his memory is still foggy but doctors say it should recover gradually its almost symbolic because it happens to be his birthday today. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers you dont know how much it means we're incredibly grateful. Will keep you posted on his recovery!

A new Overwatch character? Meaning new Overwatch content 😀🥳
WB (Hammond) is hands down the hardest tank to learn, the most fun to play, and the most hated by both the enemy team and your team because players don't understand how to play with any tank except Reinhardt.
Play him, your team will endlessly complain and the other team will swap to all his counters to make you hate life.
Bummer. Because he looks super fun to play 🙃

I use wrecking ball to stall the payload or just to give my team time to get back to point and force overtime. Sigma's ultimate can be used to get the enemy team off the point. If you get to close to someone, hanzo uses sonic arrow or widowmaker uses infrared sight sombra becomes visible to the enemy for a few seconds.

Can confirm, if you get really good with Wrecking Ball he's so much fun. Doomfist is also really satisfying to play when you're timing is right. But personally I was always playing Sombra and will never give up my sneaky beaky hacker, along with Roadhog...because he's such a chunky beast

Echo becomes a duplicate she does not create a duplicate, sombra cannot attack while invisible and has an animation when she comes out so its not op, sigma's ult is picking up whoever is in a small circle and slamming them down. Loved the reaction!

Yep, Dee Bradley Baker does the hamster noises. He does a lot of the animal voices for shows and movies, like Appa and Momo in Avatar. And then Jonathan Lipow voices the mech

The lore of doomfist cuz his origin story didn't mention it but, hie story is kinda similar to Ashe's but he put all his time into martial arts, until one day he lost his left arm and was forced to get a cybernetic implant (funnily enough from his parents because that's the business their into), however due to his implant he could no longer compete in tournaments, so he started underground brawling and becoming stronger until he met the guy who wore the gauntlet before him (also named doomfist), and through his ideology of every conflict makes you stronger he wants to force national war for the human race to "evolve".
Damn. Doom Fist is one of those “do evil for the greater good” type of characters 😨

Sigma, the floaty guy with the classical music is able to control Gravity. He has his Gravity orb things that he can throw and bounce off walls for trick shots, he has a projectable shield that moves forward from his location, he can gather rocks using gravity and throw it to stun targets and deal decent damage, he has a sort of Black Hole move that absorbs projectiles and then gives him a shield based on how much he absorbed.
the last move you see him do is Gravitic Flux, where he basically lifts anyone in the target range into the air and then SLAMS them down onto the ground dealing half their maximum life in damage, so no matter what he always does a lot of dmg with his Ultimate. For example, Roadhog has 600 Life, that means that Sigmas ultimate will always deal 300 damage to roadhog.

As far as I know, Hammond the hamster actually came from the same genetic engineering project that spawned Winston.
That's correct. They both come from the moon base, but Hammond was an infamous escape artist and loved to go to Junkertown to fight in the arena. The Hamster is a trouble maker haha

A lot of people don't like Echo cause of what she represented so I'll give a little history lesson. A big issue Overwatch has always suffered from is how teams are balanced, specifically in terms of what roles are played (those roles being Tank, Healer and DPS.) For most of the games lifespan you just queued for a match and chose what role you felt like playing when you got in the game and that caused certain metas to form which, I wont get into those but it caused lots of balance issues from having too many of one role so eventually the game got role queue where you'd matchmake for a specific role. This had ups and downs, for Tank mains such as myself you'd get a match in about a minute but for the DPS players it was more like 15... This is mainly due to about 80% of the games roster being composed of DPS characters so naturally most of the playerbase would play only DPS and I think the last Healer the game had seen was March of 2019 so lots of people were vocal about the lack of Tank and Healer options. This leads us to Echo who was originally announced as a Healer and was hyped up as one and visually designed as one, small tangent here but they design characters around what their role is so Tanks usually have massive character models, DPS tend to have their weapon take up most of their silhouette and Healers usually look small and unassuming and Echo falls into her role perfectly right? Well apparently Blizzard thought her Ultimate was too cool for a Healer (I wish that was a joke but I'm dead serious) so they did a last minute rework on her and dropped her as yet another DPS and then proceeded to abandon Overwatch in favor of OW2 (and we see how that went) and naturally most people reaaally didn't like that. It also didn't help that she was beyond broken at launch and was a plague on the game for a time and is honestly to this day annoying to go against which is a real shame cause her design is cool but I just feel bad playing her
Bummer. We heard Brigitte broke the game but now it seems like Echo might have as well. Hopefully Microsoft can fix it or maybe Overwatch 2 will fix everything 🤔🤗
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames Yes Brig was also a terror, more so than Echo was actually but that's a whole different story. Blizzard was notorious for being incapable of balancing and with all the stuff that happened there, I'm pretty glad that Microsoft is taking over. I think with them at the helm OW2 could revive the franchise, so long as it comes out sometime soon

Funny thing about echo you don't know about is he's she actually copys and becomes the hero she copied with her ultimate but the real kicker is when she becomes the copied hero(except herself cause you can't copy echo)you get an insane amount of ultimate charge gaining if you copy a tracer your just gonna lob a bunch of tracers bomb ultimate

@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames yes and no but here's another thing she has a ability that can pretty much let her flight and like jet pack forward upward etc and you can combo her sticky bombs into her laser which if your target is at half health it does stupid damage believe it's 200 each for the duration of the move and if you killed her when she's in copied state she just detransforms and has I believe half her health pool I think

My fav of all of these is Sigma! He's so fun to play, you have to angle your hits correctly because they can bounce of walls and floor to hit other players! You can put your shield in specific positions to protect others! You can use his abilities to cancel multiple ultimates so that's a bit op but I like it! And it's always fun to hit someone with the boulder 😂. Even tho he's a bit (more like a lot) crazy, his voice lines are funny
I’m terrible with angles so would suck with Sigma haha. Never was quite good at pool or geometry 😛
Ah Overwatch, one of the games where I love the characters and the setting but have dropped since I don't play PvP games anymore. Tracer is still my favorite and always will be!!
But Overwatch 2 is supposed to have a campaign to it so hopefully it won’t just be pvp anymore 😀

Orisa trailer is a bit weird because they changed all her abilities.
Was she too weak or too powerful 🤔
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames She was good but Blizzard changed the "shield meta", she had a deployable shield and she could protect her ultimate which was a damage buff for the rest of the team. So by removing her deployable shield they also got rid of her ultimate. Now she has throwable javelin that can pin enemies to wall (pretty fun), she can deflect projectile and push back enemies by spinning her javelin for a few seconds and her ultimate is an aoe that can deal small or big damage the longer the player charges it.
Also she is now absolutely broken, very hard to kill and deal massive damage.
Moira is my favorite support to play. She's the perfect mix between damage and a lot of healing, so those pesky dps in the backline run from YOU instead you from them.
Fun fact about Doomfist's video. That the start plays in is called Numbani and they basically changed one of the spawns after that video came out to show the destroyed OR-14 (robots he was fighting) and that giant crater he created with the last one, which was cool. Not in the video but before he came out they teased his release by removing his gauntlet from the objective, which normally was what players delivered to a museum on the other side of the map.
Another fun fact might that Ana's trailer shows her on top of a high ledge, being her supporting sniper self, but the character in game has absolutely no way of getting up there by herself. The only way to do it would be with Symmetra's teleporter, which if I remember was still her ultimate at the time, so not something that was used to just put a single teammate up on a very exposed easily to shoot spot.
Widowmaker, Ana and Ashe are the only characters in game with a ADS mode, so when Ashe came out it was a huge deal, since she was the first non-sniper with that option. As shown in the trailer she's amazing for dealing with flying characters because of it. (Also I love Bob. he deserves all the love)
And yes Echo can select and turn into any enemy on the opposite team with her ultimate. she gains their weapon, abilities and ultimate (which she generates at a really fast rate, so she has the chance to use it before her own runs out.)
