Edit: Mathew Mercer does have a Decent Track Record for his Voice Acting Career, however he certainly does not have any Decent Memorable Roles, because most of them he plays are sometimes either Supporting Roles or complete Minor Roles, it isn't a Bad Thing but it also isn't a Good Thing as well.

My favorite character or characters in this episode is the chaotix I have only seen them in the archie/idw comics,sonic x, and sonic forces but you did a great job establishing their personalities and how they work with one another also sonic,shadow, and rouge reacting to eggman saying eggman land was perfect
I never thought of Eggman possibly losing his memory and becoming a good guy to be a mechanic at a village. Then stopping his evil ways. That was a smart and great idea for him. It was wholesome
In a way, Having Eggman wind up like this seems a punishment. All that work, all those threats, and so much destruction; so much done to put an old man in command of the world. What does he get for his efforts? A world turned against him, great creations reduced to junk, and little/no legacy to leave behind for a relative/named successor to keep going.
I actually kinda doubt the Metal Virus arc will happen here. That’d be pushed into Season 3, which as far as I can tell is heading in a completely different direction with the Imperator Ix teaser
Wow. I'm blown away by how well this turned out--not that I didn't expect great work, but it still surpassed my expectations. Congrats to everyone on the project! I'm honored to be part of the cast.
Some of these moments between Mr. Tinker and Sonic are just really sweet. Ian Flynn wants you to make sure you never forget that even though Sonic let Eggman live freely after losing his memories, and that may have been a mistake seeing what happened, circumstances not withstanding Mr. Tinker was real, he was alive, and he pretty much created life in the form of Belle. Mr. Tinker deserved his chance to live as himself, and Sonic is a great guy for affording him that chance. Even if we know there's no Sonic the Hedgehog without Eggman to fight against, it still makes you sad to know that this sweet old man was lost to the "nightmare that is Dr. Eggman," as he put it. It's really something sweet and compelling, and I think the fact that we get to discuss the situation for its complexity goes a long way to show just how competent of a writer Ian Flynn is. Frontiers is in very good hands with him.
I like how Vector at some points here looks like an S-shaped Yoshi in with a Crocodile face instead of whatever dinosaur Yoshi is supposed to be based off of. 😆
The animation has really improved! I absolutely loved the few second of Dr “Robotnik” reacting to his surveillance drone being destroyed by Charmy. From the shadows to the background and contrast, the was well animated. Everything overall was executed pretty well. I also enjoy some of the jokes added in.
Well Now, SatAM Robotnik actually operating behind the shadows instead of Neo. Knowing the possible ruthlessness and creep factor of that incarnation, I expect some pretty twisted things down the tubes. But damn, you pulled off one HELL of a show. The animations, the voices....just a true chef's kiss.
Quite enjoyed this episode. I love the choice of Sonic music whenever it's not an original track. Something I love more is how freaking good Satam Robotnik looks. The animation in general is pretty good. I'm honored to be apart of this and hyped for what's next.

11:20 Dang! Vector actually tried to take a full bite out of Charmy here! I really love that change from the original IDW comic panel that this scene was reminiscing clearly where in the original, it just showed Vector looking at Charmy with an engaged facial expression and mouth wide open clearly implying he did furiously chase Charmy off in response to the bee purposefully crash landing on his snout from the tree above him only to mess with the poor Croc and give him a snarky "I told you so" remark. But we never saw Vector actually take a full-on chomp at Charmy with his sharp razor teeth in the original comic. I just thought that was especially a nice touch in this episode to really show that Sonic Rebound is not meant to be an exact frame-by-frame or panel-by-panel adaptation of the Sonic IDW comics. You really captured the intense yet wholesome chemistry between Vector and Charmy extremely well in this scene particularly showing off their usual cartoon shenanigans. 🤩😆✊🔥💚🐝🐊
This was fantastic! I am most certainty very excited for the next episode! I loved both the acting and animation and it’s significant improvements from last season. The actors played their characters very well. One other I liked was the change of pace with it showing what happened 24 hours ago before sonic arrived onto the ship! Overall a very solid start to this season! Keep it up, these are amazing!

Having binged a majority of the Archie series, until they explain how he’s here, I’m betting this Robotnik is the one that Snively caused to be scattered atom by atom. How he found a way to constitute said atoms back together into this world is the mystery of my theory.
I enjoyed the first season a lot, many aspect of it were very well managed when moving over most of the IDW plots to become actually animated, but in some cases it felt repetitive. With it just copying most of the stuff from the comics straight to the series, word-for-word almost. But this feels a lot more natural, with much more freedom given to the animation. Speaking of animation, the animation looks absolutely incredible! The original animation for the first season was good, but inconsistent with the constant switch of animators. But this feels a lot more consistent, with the switch between the different styles of animation being a lot less jarring then before. This was a huge step forward from what was already a rock-solid foundation I can’t wait to see more episodes from this season :)
oh my GOD i cannot get enough of this series. the production value is insane and everything is just SO hype! it doesn't hurt that the source material you're pulling from is just excellent. the work put into making this come to life really shines
This is making me kinda feel like it's own universe of the idw comics, like marvel universe stuff, where there are infinite universes and timelines where mostly the same stuff happens except for a small detail being different or a bigger thing starting to show how it's not like the universe this one branches off from, either way I'm actually excited seeing more of this and I'm usually the one to not watch something where they animate storylines from comic books like this

I am loving this series, and I’m also loving how it’s slowing but surely going towards its own thing aside from all that’s in IDW. And the animation quality is amazing, I’m surprised it isn’t taking longer for these episodes to come out. Though currently I’m on the lookout for Episode 7 in particular, since that’ll probably where things start to really differentiate from the first arc of IDW. I am gonna love what’s in store for Season 2.
Oh yeah for sure! Episode 6 is where the seeds will start to be planted more. Also Episode 7 has been flipped with Issue 8. Ep 7 will have Whisper in it :)
This was hype! Good animation, great music choice, and great voice acting. I know you didn't create the IDW comics, but Sonic needs to adapt to this type of style. Hopefully, the new writers will impress us just like this animated series impressed us with its quality.

I love the idea that metal sonic uses the SATAM version of eggman as a disguise
I am loving this series, and I’m also loving how it’s slowing but surely going towards its own thing aside from all that’s in IDW. And the animation quality is amazing, I’m surprised it isn’t taking longer for these episodes to come out. Though currently I’m on the lookout for Episode 7 in particular, since that’ll probably where things start to really differentiate from the first arc of IDW. I am gonna love what’s in store for Season 2.
Oh yeah for sure! Episode 6 is where the seeds will start to be planted more. Also Episode 7 has been flipped with Issue 8. Ep 7 will have Whisper in it :)

This was hype! Good animation, great music choice, and great voice acting. I know you didn't create the IDW comics, but Sonic needs to adapt to this type of style. Hopefully, the new writers will impress us just like this animated series impressed us with its quality.

A boy it's back also I have a request since almost all the characters haven't done so well please make Shadow a well-developed the character recently he has to have the best of Ken adult moments and Cooling in the IDW Comics so with all our hearts please make Shadow a free dimensional character not the same egotistical Edgewater we've had like who-knows-how-long the same shall we all knew and loved the old days so please make sure how good it wasn't love in this series of the characters
Oh don't worry, Shadow has his own subplot in this show that will come to fruition later
