Satam Robotnik is my favorite incarnation of the doctor. So when I was cast for the mystery villain and started reading my lines, I was almost in disbelief by the opportunity to attempt my impression of the legendary Jim Cummings that fueled so many of my childhood nightmares. Good work on the animation too. It's difficult to keep a consistent style but it's generally looking better than the previous episodes barring a few exceptions. (Key scenes in episode 2 still have the best looking shots and sequences in the series so far.) Sound design has also improved. The original ost is even more of a nice touch. Overall I'm happy to be apart of this and I can't wait to see more!

It's the best it's been so far and I think it's gonna get better. And that Whisper scene was amazing. Certainly wasn't expecting that lol. You guys really gave her a lot of mystery, especially for those who haven't read the comics. Also this felt like a legit 11 minute Sonic episode, I love it. Plus the Freedom Planet character and some of Jennifer Hernandez's ocs was really enjoyable to see since they we're actually in Issue 3. I'm more hyped for Season 2 now and I can't wait to see what you guys have in store. Hope everyone who worked on this has a festive holidays and a happy new year. :)

With only a couple hours left before the big reveal, I'm just gonna say it: I firmly believe the Mystery Villain is Mimic. It just seems to be the most realistic option. Considering Whisper the Wolf is going to have a more important role in the next season, the unlikely hood of the "Tangle & Whisper" miniseries being adapted into Sonic Rebound, and the fact that any character not in the idw comics is going to have a cameo role, all signs seem to point to Mimic as the main baddie. Plus, he's a shapeshifting mass murderer with a skull-like face, so he's definitely got the controversial part down. Anyway, good luck to everyone who made this. 👍

Not much I can say that plenty others haven't said already. This was a treat to watch. There's no shortage of good animations out there for Sonic in particular, but it's an amazing breath of fresh air to see animation this smooth on Knuckles and his various movements/facial expressions. Love Knux's voice actor here btw
if they ever finish this metal sonic arc and continue i dont know if i want to re-experience the metal virus arc fully animated whatever happens there will really hit you in the FEELS!
Y'know, I first saw this series when I heard the Protagonist was going to be in the voice cast. I started following the comics way back when the Archie series was still a thing, so I've been reluctant to get into the IDW series, but after revisiting this series and giving it a thorough watch, I'm genuinely loving what they're doing. As someone who develops stories myself, I think it's time I finally got into this series and got some inspiration of my own. Thank you guys for all the hard work that you do. I'm definitely going to be on the lookout for future episodes. Everyone who worked on this most definitely deserves to be included in an official Sonic series. You guys make this look incredibly professional. It must've taken a lot of time and hard work to get everything as refined as it is. I genuinely hope that this series will continue to see future installments. It deserves all the support in the world and then some. GamerGuyd, I certainly hope your information regarding the Sonic Adventure remakes holds true. You seemed to put things together in a very convincing way, and your sources also seem to have merit. I think I can speak for almost everyone at this point in saying that the series most definitely needs this. Nonetheless, at this point, we'll just have to wait and see when they release the news. Hopefully your prediction holds true. Perhaps it's just my naive optimism, but what we know now gives me hope. Anyway, keep on doing what you guys are doing, because you guys make some great content!

I'm a tad confused on the SatAm robotnik, but this series has gotten me hooked to see where it's going and if itd gonna follow the idw story still or do it's own thing

I won't lie, not into that mystery villain reveal back there. But everything else here was done beautifully, and i love how you introduced whisper into this series
This was honestly a great improvement! Episode two still has some of my favorite animation but the voice acting and audio design has gotten a lot better, and it can be seen here. The lighting in this episode was also really great, especially in that last night scene. keep up the great work!
I liked that we got to see whisper at the end and can't wait to see her later on down the way also everyone that was involved in the finale and to anyone reading this hopefully you all are having a great Christmas this week and I hope you all enjoy the last day's of this year and the beginning of a new year bye
Everyone who worked on this did a fantastic job! The animations were smooth and full of life! As a hobby animator (currently) it's great seeing other animators get some love and work. I'm taking some notes to help me on my own journey in the medium. The fight scene between Rough and Tumble especially had good stuff I had to look at frame by frame.
Seriously, this animation was so much more epic, that you deserved to be hired by Sega and make the new Netflix design (I'm a person, who prefers more 2D animations than 3D when it comes to Sonic). You are epic later, it was worth waiting for those months because it was too much !!! And I hope, for the next season!!!

Wow. Just...Wow. You guys really meant it when you said the ending would be controversial. I seriously can't tell if this was a good thing or a bad thing. That's how shocking the ending is. Regardless, everything else is amazing. I watched this episode on my TV and it was a blast. Every character is always moving instead of just standing still and they move so fluently. And I love the small additional scenes that weren't in the comics. I'm not really fond of Rough and Tumble's voices though. I'm sorry if this sounds selfish, but I'd imagine those two to sound more like their Adrenaline Dub voices. Its hard to believe this is an unofficial fan-made series. You guys really do an amazing job. I'm looking forward to the next two seasons. Let's do it to it.

There’s one big highlight to this series for me. Seeing comic original characters come to life beyond the page with a voice and animation. Rough & Tumble are so much fun here.

I'm going to be bluntly honest here: I feel really sorry for the actors and animators involved in this. I'm actually friends with a handful of actors involved in Rebound so I know they're good actors, and I know animating isn't easy so I'm sure the animators put their all into working on these episodes. But it feels like they're all weighed down by a director that has no idea what he's doing and is making such dumb decisions most likely for the sake of shock value and nothing else. Especially for something that is very clearly riding off the coattails of the IDW comics, it just makes me wonder why even bother setting it in the IDW world if you're making such drastic (and frankly, unneeded) changes to it. And from what I've heard not even some of the actors involved (won't drop any specific names out of respect) have any clue why the series is going the way it is.
That's right, only the animators, a few VA's and I know what the entire plot to this saga is, and we're keeping it that way. Thanks for watching though! :)
This was really fun to watch!!! The only issue I had was that the fighting felt a little in the slow side. Mainly with kunckles. Felt like if it was sped up just by a little bit it would have improved a lot.

Much better animated than the Cyborg vs. Terminator Beatbox Battle, that's for sure! I'd love to see Whisper Brapping and beatboxing in outer space.

Good question, but can't really comment on that until later. We'll be dropping a Season 2 trailer this Christmas though
And if not, at least have them show up as cameos or background characters. Anything honestly would suffice.

There’s one big highlight to this series for me. Seeing comic original characters come to life beyond the page with a voice and animation. Rough & Tumble are so much fun here.

I'm going to be bluntly honest here: I feel really sorry for the actors and animators involved in this. I'm actually friends with a handful of actors involved in Rebound so I know they're good actors, and I know animating isn't easy so I'm sure the animators put their all into working on these episodes. But it feels like they're all weighed down by a director that has no idea what he's doing and is making such dumb decisions most likely for the sake of shock value and nothing else.
Especially for something that is very clearly riding off the coattails of the IDW comics, it just makes me wonder why even bother setting it in the IDW world if you're making such drastic (and frankly, unneeded) changes to it. And from what I've heard not even some of the actors involved (won't drop any specific names out of respect) have any clue why the series is going the way it is.
That's right, only the animators, a few VA's and I know what the entire plot to this saga is, and we're keeping it that way. Thanks for watching though! :)

I have to say for the voice of rough You did really good 😌. I also did the voice of Rough in a sonic comic dub with my cousin adventureruler
End scene: If I had not seen the comics, I would have thought we had ourselves a cybernetic Mobian Batman
This was really fun to watch!!! The only issue I had was that the fighting felt a little in the slow side. Mainly with kunckles. Felt like if it was sped up just by a little bit it would have improved a lot.
