-0:54 MC starts with a 1 1/2 metal guard on his Oster clippers. This will remove the bulk and create a foundation.
-3:16 He creates a shape up using Andis Trimmers.
-4:45 To remove bulk and blend the sides and back, MC uses a sculpting technique done with a straight razor.
-7:12 Switching to Wahl clippers, he uses a closed blade to taper the neckline. He adjusts the lever when necessary.
-7:30 MC moves to a 1 plastic guard on Wahl clippers.
-7:55 To further blend his fade, MC does some freehand work with a 1 1/2 metal guard on Oster clippers.
-8:05 MC moves on to tapering the sides.
-9:35 Using a straight razor, MC sharpens the shape up line.
-10:35 Moving to the top of the head, he uses a straight razor to create texture and remove bulk.
-10:48 MC uses scissors over knuckles to remove length and blend the sides.
-11:34 He uses scissors over comb to further blend the sides and back.
-12:15 Watch a quick blow dry/style.

The days of classic men's haircut are long gone and forgotten. My local barber used to do this type of haircut for me for about $15.

Nice work, we learned how to do faceshaves and hair razor work with a TONDEO RAZOR..old technique.. what this does is taper the ends of the hair to blend..also a good way to reduce bulk and works good on curly hair..💈💈

How do you cut so smooth with the razor? I want to know how to use the razor with confidence to add texture and define my cuts. I always watch your videos and try all your techniques on clients and so far it has helped me.

love the videos but this could be described as an advanced cut. I was hoping to learn on how to work on the guards up to clipper over comb. I am not at the stage where I can just free hand it all that way lol. Keep up the good work!

Awesome cut mc barber. Bought a wahl five stars and Im gonna do this step by step except I dont have a razor. I already have my brother in law volunteer as my model. Anyway is it just me or there's really something wrong with the audio? I dont hear it that much with my AKGs but its noticeable with my jaybird x3.
