I think Yumi's reaction was valid, because he was told that the alternator would be replaced and that the oil would be changed, so that he could give it to his dad without his dad having to worry about the car breaking down. However, he's met with a purple GamerSupps themed wrap on the car, that isn't even fixed. I'd be pretty upset too
