It's so cool to see you finally get around to this one. April Wine, Triumph, Rush and Neil Young were my favorite Canadian bands. This song was the one that I had playing when I made love to my first wife back when we were dating in the 80's. It became our song, But my love for this song didn't end when our relationship did back in 91' Thanks for teaching this one. It's an awesome work of guitar solo's. Not to mention a great song.
Make sure to give this video a "Thumbs Up! 👍 It really does help Kelly a lot.. It makes his tutorials climb the list of tutorials on You Tube. Not many teachers on You Tube will teach as accurately as Kelly does.
I remember their first hit in the U.S. "Could have been a Lady". Years later some friends from up north introduced me to them and brought several albums with them. Great band and great tutorial.
Huge fan. RIP Myles. Definitely a "Titan"! Lucky to see them LIVE several times in the early to mid 80's and would forever answer "April Wine" to the Q "what is the best concert you've ever seen?" Thanks Kelly.
What a great song and tutorial Kelly. Saw his 3 man solo tour Just Between You And Me in 2022. Then on Oct 29, 2023 April Wine in Oshawa . I was shocked to not see him on stage as he retired in April of 2023. ♪♫♪♫♪
FYI, I live on the Louisiana Gulf Coast. All of the rockers here listened to April Wine when we were young. They even played here. (Lake Charles, LA). "Just Between You & Me" and "Say Hello" were played at too many parties to count and even a lot of graduation events.
Thanks for taking the time to honor this great Canadian artist and that great song. I remember fondly seeing these guys at the Montreal forum wayyyyy back then. Now, I'm taking that Les Paul out and give it a try! Thanks again! Great tutorial!
One of my favorite groups from the 70's. Have seen them live in Montreal multiple times. Request for a tutorial on Could Have Been A Lady. RIP Mr. Goodwin. 👍
Kelly Dean Allen, you mentioned that April Wine didn’t see a lot of success outside of the country of Canada, but I have to correct you sir because I live in United States and I live in Chicago Illinois. Myself and my brothers and my friends all grew up on April Wine triumph and rush. We love Canadian music over here and we seen April Wine and triumph in concert and rush many times so yeah, April Wine had excellent success, United States!
April Wine was a great band. I'm in the USA mid-Atlantic region. The ones I've always heard played around here are Just Between You And Me, I Like To Rock, Sign Of The Gypsy Queen, and Roller.
RIP Myles, thank you for the memories
Duude! I've been on a huuuge April Wine binge since we lost Myles... This is awesome, thanks KD!
They were big here in the Midwest. Roller and All Over Town are 2 of my favorites. RIP Myles. Thanks for sharing!
This and Sign of the Gypsy Queen were great power ballads. Nice lesson.

Seulement entre toi et moi
A pleasant one on the ears back in the day.
A ballad that holds up over time better than others.

In North Carolina April Wine was huge.
Thank you!
I've been listening to April Wine for over 40 years. Roller was one of my favorite songs until this album came out.
Boy does that bring back memories how about Roller
Wow was wondering if you were going to do this AW song!! 👍👍
👍
Hey any idea where I might find tabs for it?
Not accurate at all.
That "F chord" is called F Maj7. Play it as such.
