At about 1:19 Ken and Alec talking at the bar and Ken just about finished his drink, he orders "another St Clements" from Betty. A fresh drink was already waiting beside the cash register and that's the one Betty picked up and brought to Ken. Oops LOL
They ALL gossip, yet they will get on their high horses and look down on certain people when they do the same. It’s so weird to me. They all know and share each other’s business but it seems to be ok for some and not ok for others
Audrey at 56 minutes, using her 'feminine' wiles to try & get rid of her arch enemy Ivy, absolutely sickening, I never knew she was so awful!! 1:07:00 Good Riddance.
Audrey is such a self centred, gold digger, it was such a shame that when, Brian fell ill the writers reconciled the couple. Audrey needed to be brought down a peg or two and remember that, without Alf she is nothing.
Audrey’s ingratitude is highlighted with these episodes. Alf might be a bit of a skinflint but he’s worked hard to provide Audrey with a comfortable standard of living.

A mixed month - Alf and Audrey shown at their very worst, I began to feel that they deserved each other. And Derek's vengeful pomposity plus Mavis's timorous hysterics over the boat debacle was so irritating. But June 1991 still a huge improvement on June 1990 stories.
Could have said something similar for Elsie Tanner, she was always in and out of jobs, yet smoked like a chimney, a new hairdo everyday and never wore the same clothes twice😅
How interesting that she wasn't seen on the street until Alf put a stop to her sticky smelly skinny mummified ugly fingers having access to his money. Then the first time she was seen on the street was to get her sticky smelly skinny mummified ugly fingers in Alfs till. I have to remind myself constantly that she's just acting 😂
All the plots in this month are great. Can't wait to see Audrey hopefully get a rude awakening. Hope Mavis and Derek get what they deserve as well. As always, love Martin and Don's sound advice, and Gail's disdain of her mom finally.
It certainly looks like Audrey and Alf were headed for divorce prior to Brian Mosley’s heart attack. He had no interest in a reconciliation and she just wanted a roof over her her head. He knew it. They were completely incompatible. The days when Audrey was a party girl were great fun. Today, there we see Audrey getting sloshed, attempting suicide and scammed by her grandsons. I suppose the best thing the writers did for her character was to establish the hair salon. Seeing the cafe featured in so many of June’s scenes makes me miss Elsie Tanner BIG TIME.
