Your comment on the sabers being "earlier like prototype lightsabers when compared to the Prequels" makes literally no sense. Yes, it's further back in the past, but everything was *more* ornate and detailed back then in universe, not less. Not to mention the Jedi being around for thousands of years and the High Republic being very close in time relatively speaking. Definitely not less developed in regards to lightsabers.
They look pretty great and unique. The negative reception so far leads me to think these might be on clearance and I'm interested in the entire wave now because I've been enjoying the series.

Does Jecki have a cigar on her belt? These look great and for my head canon always need new Jedi. They sorely need a wash for those robes that yellow is too much needs to be toned down, that's what some of my old Kenner storm trooper figures looked like after my dad smoked 4 packs a day in the house when I was growing up!
Wonder when Hasblow will ever give us better articulation, cuz they really put me off from collecting Black Series, especially since their Joes have much better range and articulation.
I have never really bought these big figures before other than an Aayla and Ki-Adi who I saw in the shops and just HAD to get. I have so many 3.75" figures that it hurt when they shifted focus to these bigger ones. However, this wave looks like one I will get all of to display with Aayla and Ki-Adi (who also appeared in the Acolyte). Hoping for a Wave 2 with Qimir, the two mothers, Venestra, Osha in Sith training outfit (she looked cute in that) and maybe Kelnacca or Torbin (although frankly neither character really appeals). Sad that they announced today that Acolyte will not get a Season 2, but Season 1 is worth remembering especially with these on my shelf.

Do you know where to get these from? Most places say October 1st. Do you find that the lightsaber hilt is soft and flexible. There was an issue with some like the Shin and Baylan lightsaber hilts.
U know the lightsabers were very extravagant in the high republic. They became more basic as time went on until the prequels where lightsabers were quite plain
Almost looks as though a kitbash between Sol and Yorn would make a damned good Anakin, with some belt adjustments and the forearm from TCW Anakin of course.

Any how I do agree that these figures getting all the tooling and resources spent on them just to end up in Ollies or Ross in 6 months is a waste. However, It's more Disney and Lucas films making them make these figures than it is Hasbro actually wanting to most likely. Hasbro knows what sells and these Disney + figures outside of Mando stuff are all destined to end up at liquidation stores.
I'm loving the show and era (read all the books, comics), so I'll be getting multiples, as these have great custom potential. And let's be honest, they'll be going on sale pretty cheap, so it's a win-win for me
I hope they announce a quimir figure next, the set feels incomplete without him after the last episode

Series sucks imo but these figures are great so I’m also hoping I can get them on clearance. The new Jedi body will also be great going forwards
If I find these on deep clearance I might pick them up. The figures themselves are pretty nice, though Kelnacca would be a good addition.

Personally not a fan of the show but I do like Sol’s character and I’m going to get his figure if I see it in stores
Nice sculpts. The sabre hilts look fine to me. They really would benefit frome a shade wash to bring out detail.
