@@Brite-um2tq Not exactly certain the Facility was in disrepair which made the numbers glitch but its possible to genuinely be occurring during HL2/Episodes its a well-debated subject. This disrepair could possibly be the result of the Resonance Cascade or another Anomalous Event. Xen and Race X for instance rapidly terraformed the Environment so its possible to be the result of encroaching Alien Ecosystem rather than the effects of time.
Dang this song works so well with pebbles, it fits their personality very well. I really like the scene where the ancients activate pebbles and show him what they made him for.
I love shots like 0:50, 2:04 and 2:12, the second's use of perspective is so awesome, and how the first and the last timestamp have rivulet and saint so tiny compared to pebbles, making him seem like the god-like being he claims to be, and yet in both, his life is in their hands. and also just how creative this whole animation is!! like it feels like one of THOSE music videos where you can tell everything means something but first you just have to gawk at what you're looking at
I really appreciate this a lot... I took a lot of inspiration from Jack Stauber and Umami's animations! I've never tried to be really... sentimental and meaningful in my other animations... So I'm really happy with the response for this silly lil one, tysm! 💖

Of all the incredible symbolism here, my favorite is the final few seconds, where we see his decaying puppet chamber form zoom out to show it is within a titanic, snow-covered and sleeping version of himself, symbolizing how he is the entire structure. Then, little Saint comes along to this titan, who has been portrayed as this toothy demon until now where he's small and turned away from our perspective, and the karma symbol appears over Pebbles' metaphorical giant form, instead of over the puppet like we see in game. Then theres the duality of the phrase "Now I only want you gone," first its referring to the Slugcats and how he wants to ascend them, but then at the end he wants to be "gone" himself. The only way to have peace is to give in.
The visual of making the puppet the scale of the actual can is beautiful, it really lends to the true tremendousness of these damages gods , how much of it has sunk and broke to ruin, the immense scale. It also just looks awesome . And that's just one out of a hundred great visuals shown here , this is amazing .
"It's such a shame (living forever) will never happen to you" feels very different coming from Five Pebbles. GLaDOS probably has her share of mixed feelings about being a computer, but Five Pebbles hated being made to endlessly think about how to ascend the population while never being able to use any of the methods on himself SO MUCH he accidentally gave himself turbocancer. (An aside: cancer is basically cells that fail to trigger apoptosis even after accumulating too many mutations to function. How, how did he manage to remove the one self-destruct function he had while trying to remove the blocs on all the others?)
I had thought of this song for him before, but could never quite picture how it would look as an animatic. But this- this is AMAZING, I love the little bits of humor contrasted to the overall tragic mood, gotta be one of my new favorite RW animations.

It’s pretty interesting how similar they are in their body structure. Both are basically locked to their one room (until PotatOS, who still can’t move), have many other rooms within then, used to have a lot of people who then died, have some sort of organism eating away at their insides (the rot for pebbles, Chell and nature for GLaDOS), and both view themselves as some kind of “god”.
