What are the ingredients please? I have tried making them but they always come out hard. How do I make soft chapati? What makes them soft, is it cooking oil?, Is it eggs? Is it milk? Is it warm water? I want that when I make them I the morning, they can reach evening when they are soft.
You need to mix flour with warm water, you can also put little milk (optional), mix the dough with same cooking oil (little), cover the dough for an hour or before you start making the chapatis. Also cover your chapatis & will remain soft even for the next day. Bona appetite
I have cooked chapati several times that is why i did not explain the ingredients sorry for assuming. Just to add on Kates comment boil cooking oil for mixing the dough that one helps too.

When I travelled by plane toward Kenya and backward (that s a long travel friends!) and sit a long ride in a train, autobusses etc for 4 weeks entertaining my family etc etc.... I should recover at least for a month after coming back... It not stress but normal recovering time from a lot of efforts during the hollidays... spending very well..
