I learned it as 30 seconds for a elevator pitch. It's like doing a marketing/creative brief, you have to focus down on what the priorities of your campaign are. Actually writing a creative brief for a campaign is a good idea.
You're in the land of falgoreth, for generations your families have lived in the town at the foot of the ever snow clad mountain. Farming and hunting has been fruitful and your lands ever safe thanks to the forces of the grayclads. However this last winter has been harsh, crops have not been growing like they used too and wild beasts have been coming down the mountain more frequently and the world seems more dark. Winter seems to be deepening even though you're well into the spring time. The town has organised a meeting to discuss what can be done.

I've always thought so. Getting players to buy in ahead of time solves so many common issues, such as 13th warrior syndrome
