For the record: Milk Cow Blues was written by Sleepy John Estes in the early 30s and has been covered by many artists in many different styles, often with each artist changing the lyrics a bit. One of the early covers was don by Robert Johnson. To claim that one particular artist did the definitive version is a matter of personal taste, not fact. Just listen to the music and enjoy!
I love your name, so funny, and even more your thoughts. I was searching for something else and came upon Sleepy John Estes early this A.M. TH-cam is so great. You can always get what you want.
++Wagmore Barkless Wikipedia has Milk Cow Blues as written and originally recorded by Kokomo Arnold in 1934, and by many artists since, including Elvis and Doc Watson. If this is the same song there are a lot of changes in it. Still, I like it. It's also nice to hear som acoustic work at times.
I love this tune and the album! I used to rock this tune hard. One of my favorites! I used to love jamming Rats in the Cellar off the Rocks album too, great stuff for sure!
No lights no fire works nothing. Just pure music. Nothing can beat that. Frankly speaking most of the acts today use more lights sounds effects because they know they can’t sing live anymore.
This guy has heard many versions of this song, most notably the original by Arnold, the one by Elvis Presley and another one by the Kinks, and he SINGS it with all those memories in mind. Fantastic.
A song inspired by Elvis Presley doing a show (Unplugged) again inspired by Elvis Presley. It's amazing how much influence he has in the music world. He truly is the fucking king ain't he?
memo echeverría He didn't do the original version of the song. He copied Elvis' version of it. Elvis' version was a completely different song than Kokomo's version. In fact if Elvis changed the lyrics he could have said he wrote the song himself and nobody would have been able to trace the original. Aeorsmith was doing Elvis' version of the song. So you obviously don't know anything about the blues now do you?
With lips like Steven's you know he's gonna boss that mouth harp around like a champ. Soul. Blues. Rock both hard and guitar driven. Yodeling. Ballads. Hard Pop. Country Funk. Rap/Run DMC. Name it, they'll bring it. Thanks again Aerosmith. Aeroforce One over and out.
How in the world have I not heard this until just now. I've had an aerosmith pandora station for over a year and never heard this and automatically its one of my new favorites.
shinaz000 They covered this song since the seventies! I once had a bootleg tape of a 1975 concert where they performed it and then they recorded a studio version in 1977 for the "draw the line" album!
All of them are great that’s why I worked out in the long run had nothing had it all lost it all and got it back and now are millionaires again remember Joe bumming a cigarette off of me in 81 because he was broke after just playing a show
Didn’t they change the lyrics of the second verse ? I think îts suppose to go down like : Well I'm sick of all your crying When you should be leaving me alone If you don't believe me You pack my bag, I'm gone But it doesn’t sound like that
Please no pity but having A. L. S it’s makes me smile it’s. All ways been a fav on the flip side of that album don’t tell the band but I didn’t like that record 😜
@@cody4763 It's from Draw The Line. I mean why didn't they release the MTV unplugged. Nirvana did it and it was very popular. Aerosmith's labels just want to release Greatest Hits collections.
There is a notable lack of microphones in front of all those "unplugged" "acoustic" guitars. Sure, they are not brandishing their usual electric guitars, and sure, they can play these other instruments, but "unplugged" this is not.
Never Ever Will there be another band like Aerosmith again What a national treasure they were
Still are
Wow. You can truly hear their talent when they're in raw form.
It's amazing how the harmonica sounds in this
Brad Whitford is the man! What an unbelievable performance.
Howdy...would you know what brand - model of guitar Brad is playing during this show? I can't figure it out. Cheers...

My definitive version has always been The Kinks cause that's who I heard first.
This is great,just Enjoy this
Now this is a good song. I don’t get why people hate Draw the line when you have such an epic closer.
Draw The Line is one of my favourite albums. Very underrated and some brilliant tracks.
I love this tune and the album! I used to rock this tune hard. One of my favorites! I used to love jamming Rats in the Cellar off the Rocks album too, great stuff for sure!
I don't think anyone hates draw the line. It has kings and queens and draw the line on it. It just wasn't as good as the first 4 albums
❤❤❤i love you increible❤❤❤
Wow Steve Tyler is amazing on that harmonica!! Awesome 💘 ❤💙
No lights no fire works nothing. Just pure music. Nothing can beat that. Frankly speaking most of the acts today use more lights sounds effects because they know they can’t sing live anymore.
Steven Tyler Lord of the harmonica! So so so good! 😍
Lol yea at around 4:20 he hits Joe. Like "Alright it's my turn."
thought you were going to say "Lord of the thighs"

Aerosmith, up to Pump, is still the greatest music there is. Those ten albums are the apex and the first five of those are the apex of that apex.
get a grip, nine lives, and bobo are brilliant as well.

Off Draw The Line, their most underrated album. Early Aerosmith are brilliant.
@@alibobsmarland9572 The only problem with Draw the Line is that it followed Toys in the Attic and ROCKS! 😁🤷♂️
@@anthonyorlando5425 A great run of albums!

Didn’t they change the lyrics of the second verse ? I think îts suppose to go down like :
Well I'm sick of all your crying
When you should be leaving me alone
If you don't believe me
You pack my bag, I'm gone
But it doesn’t sound like that
woww!!💗
At 04:30 and f.f. you can see that the guitar to the stage right of the singer is actually "plugged in".
