I think this was Aerosmith's best song ever...From the 1st album..Wasn't a single or radio hit....Thank God for that!!
youre correct. well said. My favorite song of theirs over the past 50 years...insane
I also agree 100%
That is what I have always said
me too - it's blues rock grind motherfucker awesome
I prefer Movin Out slightly more, but this is right there. Whole first album is killer.
The best song off of the debut. That whole album is just wonderful. Has that garage band vibe to it.
sad they slipped from there (on their fans) ... after rocks ... all downhill
Omg!! The 1st one will ALWAYS be my favorite!!! It has a rawness to it that I think Too Fast For LOVE has!!! I wore this 8 track completely out!!!!
@@ernielanham2396 I concur.
@@atlasgunther8947 For the most part, I agree. Rocks is the high water mark.
@@atlasgunther8947 Bs
Their best song I'd say. This is early, bluesy , rockin' Aerosmith!
Easily their best song.
This is my favorite song by my favorite band of all time on my favorite album of theirs.
Lotta heart !!!!
Lyrics are real AF
Dream on, u imbeciles
Joe looks over to Brad at the 2:50 mark....you go first bro....this jam is crazy good. This record and the Get Your Wings are freaking timeless. From a 65 year old lifetime rocker !!
Theres never been a voice like Tyler's. Really awesome. Such a vocal athlete.
Agreed. He is fucking awesome
As a old man mofo can still do it Sounds like he was sick here though
Fo show! But without the other toxic twin doin da guitar riffs, insanity! haha
He's a really Jazzie singer..scattin and licking that harp!! He feels it
Really cool that they played this great song off the first album. Pretty obscure tune overall for all but the biggest Aerosmith fans. Love it!!!
The old stuff was their best!!!!
Brad Withford you are a geniusssss
Why this unplugged wasn't a HUGE album is beyond me!!!!! I've wondered this since it aired 30 some years ago!!!@
Do think the video or recird every got a big release. Every bit as good if not better than the kiss, nirvana, and Alice in chains unplugged.
Damn near forty
Not sure if it's due to some distortion in the recording, I had the "boot leg"cd a while ago and there were points in that which if was on the master tapes could be the reason. They were on the same label as nirvana so can't see it being a label issue
Over 40 years, my friend. I put it on a cassette tape in January of 1983….those were the best of times.
What a grove, I could stay in that pocket all day, Brad Whitford, talking about underrated, just pure majic🎧✌️
you hit it right on the head ! That grove....groove is insane. ive played drums almost 50 years and this is my favorite feel...its got such a fun bounce i think i could play it while sleeping.....with a big smile on my face. I grew up listening to their 8 tracks for my entire high school years....i have to admit i lost touch with their later albums that were over played on fm. i never thought i'd re discover Aerosmith at 64...
Aerosmith, They are Their first 4 albums, that's who Aerosmith is for me, I was 9 years old and now 59 still the greatest Rock and Roll band Ever.......!
My favorite Aerosmith song. I would have flipped if I had been in the audience!
Shanni S Mine TOO!
wsieb sweet!
I'm actually obsessed, like I have a problem...
I was there! it was awesome!
@@BilltheFifth I understand what you're sayin.....i grew up with this and forgot about it. ive had their greatest hits cd in my truck ALL summer. This song has played at least 100 times since May. My son thinks i've lost my mind. and i actually do when i listen to this unbelievable soulful, bluesy masterpiece. yes its a good problem. really makes you wonder how todays music is even played on radio.
Man I was 10yrs old watching this with my parents. Aerosmith is my mom's favorite band also my Dads to. I think it also helps that they are from Boston and we lived in Massachusetts too. I have always liked Aerosmith cause I grew up listening to them. To me they are the best Rock n Roll band ever.
This is pure gold! 70's music has something that new one doesn't: AUTHENTICITY!
THERE IS NO ONE BETTER THAN THIS MAN! I HAVE LOVED YOU STEVEN TYLER SINCE 1974 BUT IM A BIGGER FAN OF THE OLD STUFF. ❤😚❤
Me too., their first four albums were their best ,( respectfully my opinion )🎵🎵✌️
I liked them better when they were all fucked up lol
Stephen's got that cat scratch fever of a voice!!!
Back when people actually invented music that never existed before -- one of their best & loses nothing being acoustic -- thanks❤️
THIS is the VERY best of Aerosmith! Bluesy, rocking, Tyler at his finest!
Brings a smile to my face every time hear this ,thanks for posting this 🙂
AEROSMITH FOREVER! LONG LIVE AEROSMITH!
Saw em five times in the 70s!! From the first album to Rocks, Toxic Twins Tha Shit!!!
Aerosmith and LZ has been my blues, rock, melt-down, #1, go to sounds since the 80's. This song, I've just started to re-listen too... anyway its a great song, and as usual, I discovered another GEM of a video performance, that stands alone thanks to the internet and TH-cam. If I could see them for the first time live, before I die... Happy Happy Happy!
TROYBOY538 I've seen them 27 times benefits of growing up in RI
@virginiomello9244 ,,you are so very lucky to be able to see them all the time!!
That was quite the rendition.......AEROSMITH ROCKS........FOREVER.......ROCK ON.....
Stunning. Not sure how I missed this but so glad I found it! One of my favorite Aerosmith songs, done FLAWLESSLY. Wow.
Love me some Whitford :)
. This whole concert was awesome. Aerosmith killed it here. Great setlist. Love these guys!
Love my bad boys from Boston. Wow... better unplugged than live, and I would love to hear Kings and Queens.
+Angel Deville Someone in the crowd kept asking them to play Kings and Queens :p
+Angel Deville Yes. One Way Street and Kings and Queens, two of my Aerosmith favs.
Not from Boston... The outskirts... Lawrence. Favorite band... Honestly, These guys keep me goin! Amen to that
Angel Deville umm it was live and unplugged
@@jdgunz1309 They started playing live gigs in Allston-Brighton.
Great singer, better entertainer Very passionate about music and delivering a great performance no matter the size of the venue or audience.
Awesome hard core blues rock!
Muddy waters would love this shit
I loved this song from day one. I still listen to this album often and this song is one of my favorites! This is fantastic! ❤
I’m 62 and still listen to this .Reminds me of high school days!😄
You can tell the real talent when it’s unplugged!
Dude this is one of best unplugged ever!!! They sound sooooo good
New Hampshire's best group ever! Sunapee, Baby!!!
One of the best perfomance ever
My favorite song. Nothing like an groovin audience to enhance the music and musicians. Featuring Brad Whitford the unsung talent in the band.
I never thought I'd say this. But that guy is a harmonica-virtuoso.
Here's some obscure trivia:
On this day in 1791 {December 17th} New York City established a new traffic regulation, it designated a number of city streets for one way traffic only, and as a result the first 'One Way' signs were erected...
And a little of 182 years later on January 5th, 1973 Boston's Aerosmith released their debut album, which was simply titled 'Aerosmith', the album would peak at #21 on Billboard's Top 200 Albums chart...
Track four of side one on the album was the seven long "One Way Street", it was written by Steven Tyler...
Then on November 16th, 2010 Bruce Springsteen released the compilation album 'The Promise'; track five on disc one was "One Way Street", it was a song written by Bruce and recorded during the 'Darkness On the Edge of Town' recording sessions in the 1970s...
what a band!
Wow,,that sounds awesome man I have not heard that before but I'm going to be able to now!!!!!¿
Talent in spades. Great tune
Detroit bar bands had this one down. My ears rang all night. Good stuff.
One of the great early songs from my favorite Rock Band. We used to sit in my Dining Room at my folks house and play air guitar and air drums to this when we were teenagers. I so wish Tyler and Perry would write like this but I guess those days are over. You can`t even get them in the same room together much less write a song. SAD Love this Glenn Augustyn
Every song of theirs sounds great, even greater when performed live omg!!!!!!
rock and roll classic defined, brother
It's great to see they got their shit together and have respect for their music. A lot of shows in the 70s were, shall we say, very ragged.
Saw them in 1978 day on the green and they were laughed off stage. 80,000 people there when they started. 1,200 when they finished! Great concert, but they sucked.
The line up was Aerosmith, Foreigner, Pat Travers, Van Halen, and opening was AC/DC. This was right after Runnin' with the Devil hit the airwaves.
this song live is so fucking good!! fuck so goood!
This song always makes me want to cruise any damn street!
exactly.....i'm glad to know there are still people alive that understand how good music from this era is. peace
I wish they would release this. I remember this vividly
+Steve Bingaman They did release it, you can find it on Spotify :)
+carlyisneveronfire ughh. Which means I have to download another thing on my phone lol
+Steve Bingaman Lol

I love you Aerosmith
Love my hometown boys!
G.O.A.T......American Band
I remember this song cut out in the middle on my 8-track
DAMN! Just as good now as it was in THE EARLY 90s!"...Fuckin everybody, suckin everybody, lickin everybody." Love it.
I was talking about the Unplugged taping, but yeah
The bad boys from Boston at their funky- best.
One of The Greatest balladi in rock historia
Joey Kramer you are the most Amazing Drummer I know. 😘
Damn I forgot about that killer song!
+Aaron Mayer Yes, this has always been my Aerosmith fav. The first three albums were just great. This song, however, remained my fav. Kings and Queens, Toys In the Attic, No More, No More, and...(don't hate me) When Lightning Strikes are close seconds.
Bluesy 🖤
Absolutamente. La original del LP steven tyler tiene una voz muy particular
Thanks so much for the uploads
Tyler got more soul in his little finger than most rock guys got in there whole band
Strangest thing about my generation is that the mighty Aerosmith shared MTV with Nirvana, and the Smashing Pumpkins!!! It was all new music, and it was gold!
Other than Rocks this is my favorite Aerosmith.
Amazing version! This has always been one of my top 3 Aerosmith songs. Great jam, great arrangement, great group of guys
Bad Brad
