Thousands of buildings demolished, including those of cultural significance, just to erect ugly Soviet buildings; women forced to procreate countless children against their will; people thrown into prisons because of their opinions; a system made up of corrupt and controllable people; industries with no pollution control; a failed health system, etc. We were all equal; equally poor. For what? If he wasn't an evil man, but he was, then he was the worst manager. If it weren’t for the Russians, life would have been much better.
