CONGRATS!! love this! your sister said she really liked brown bc it’s a good school for people of color. how so? (i’d like to know bc i’m a junior and i’m currently in my college search)
great question! brown has a really strong poc population. for the 2020 admits, 12% of the students identify as black or african american, 12% of the students identify as hispanic or latino, and 26% of the students identify as asian. you can find the statistics here: diap.brown.edu/data/diversity-dashboards
you can also find more information here: www.collegefactual.com/colleges/brown-university/student-life/diversity/
feel free to ask more questions if you have any :)
@@to.elvina2296 thank you!! i’m so happy for your acceptances! you’ll be great wherever you go!!
Wait are you from Duluth!?
Yooooo are you from Minnesota? I live by macalester
Stats video please
Affirmative Action
@Chigozirim I. yes, affirmative action is racist, radical leftist idiocy. Until affirmative actions ends, an asterisk * exists on any prestigious degree 📜 earned by a black person.
so anything more than a miracle is affirmative action? smh bro stop being salty
@@x-rated7675 affirmative action isn't limited to black ppl, that's how ik yr an undercover racist
You're just jealous because you got rejected from ucla
@@x-rated7675 That “asterisk” doesn’t exist to employers and at the end of the day they’re getting that degree not you. Worry about legacy admits before you discredit the achievements of every black or Hispanic person
Congratulations!!
Wait are you from MN!?!
