If you set the departure airport as your departure and your arrival airport as your arrival, it will draw a flight plan that goes directly from one to the other without following any real world routes or nav aids. If you want to use a semi realistic flight plan loaded straight into the sim, you can click the arrow on the right of "VFR (Direct - GPS)" and select "low-altitude airways" or "High-altitude airways". If you want the most realistic flight plan, SimBrief is probably your best bet.

You have to download the aircraft with a separate app that you can find a download link to in the email that PMDG sent you to confirm your order. If you already installed the aircraft and the PMDG operations center isn't working, try restarting your computer (full restart not shut down and turn back on) then try again. If it still doesn't work, you may have to reinstall the plane. I hope this helps.

With some applications you can just rerun the installer and it'll give you an option to repair or uninstall. If it doesn't do that, you can just delete the folders from your community folder. If you want to delete the PMDG operatipns centre as well, you have to press the windows button, search for it and click open file location instead of opening it. You can then delete the PMDG folder it would have then just put you in. That should get rid of the majority if not all the files installed.
Hi i have a problem. So i downloaded, it and installed and everything went smoothly untill i entered operation center. I dont see it neither in the operation center nor in the simulator. What is interesting is when i entered the installing program it showed my to repair, modify or remove meaning it is instaled. do you know what im supposed to do?
I'd try repairing it then if that doesn't work you might have to uninstall and reinstall it making very sure that its installed to the right path. It might also be worth looking in your community folder to make sure it installed it there and not somewhere random. I can't remember exactly what the folder's called and it varies based on what plane you got but it should have PMDG somewhere in it.
I'd recommend checking you defiantly entered your email correctly just to be safe. Otherwise, it may be worth trying again today anyway as I think I heard about a similar issue yesterday so it could have been fixed since then. Failing that, you could try contacting the PMDG support team.
The PMDG 737-800 will install most of it's packages to wherever your community folder is so short of uninstalling your simulator and reinstalling it on a different drive I cannot think of any way to fix this. Sorry.
I purchased the 737-800 and I can't get past the Download authentication code that was sent starting in 2:53. The PMDG web-site seems to be stuck in a loop, I enter the authentication code that was emailed to me and when I click on the "Download link: Download Product", it takes me back to the "Generate Authentication Code" prompt with my email address in the text box.. The web portal doesn't open an explorer window that allows me to save the .Zip file. Any ideas?
You could try again today. It might have been something weird with your internet or the PMDG website that's been fixed since then. Failing that, I'd recommend checking the money actually left your account just in case something went wrong with your card when you bought it. Other than that, I can't think of much so you could contact PMDG's support team or try and get a refund so you can start over.

Hello, I have a big problem. I bought b737-800 for msfs from pmdg site yesterday evening, I installed the setup, but the program opens a separate community folder and uploads the files there, I enter msfs, I open the plane at the runway, the systems do not work, ruder and elevator on the far left, I can't fix it only fmc works, I can't start the engines, I paid money and the problem is i want it resolved, i reinstalled but same error
According to the forums, its meant to install in a different community folder so there's nothing wrong with that. As for the rudder and elevator, have you checked in any other aircraft? It may be a bit of dust messing up the sensors or cable. As for the engines, try going into the FMC, pressing menu, and loading the runway state. It may take a few seconds but hopefully it should get you ready to fly. The rudder and elevators may also be as a result of the aircraft not being started up. i hope this helps but if it doesn't, the forums can always help you.

I tried to reinstall the PMDG 737-800 after I reinstalled MSFS 2020 in a different location on the SSD 1 TB device on a Windows 11 computer with an i9 K9900 processor and I kept getting this error after I attempted to validate the Activation Key: "Unhandled exception" "Error number 0x800C0005 Description: The system cannot locate the resource specified". The original installation went without any issues. I contacted PMDG's support and I posted a message on their forum but I haven't gotten any responses from anyone yet. Thanks in advance.
I would recommend ensuring that you are running the installer as an administrator as not doing so can cause issues in some cases. If you were already doing that, you may have to reinstall the installer as moving the MSFS install could have confused it and made it try to install in the wrong place. Failing that, the PMDG support staff will likely know more about the installer and the product and can surely help. I wish you the best of luck.

Go into the menu in the FMC and click on 'STATE LOAD'. Then, click on the state that fits best to what you want. Set the plane up to be exactly how you want it. Then go back to the menu and save the state under a name that makes sense to you. Finally, set that new sate as your startup sate. Next time you load into the plane it will be set up exactly as you like.
You'll probably have to reinstall the plane again as it installs into your community folder which would likely be removed when you uninstall. It should be easy enough to reinstall if you can find the email PMDG sent you when you bought the aircraft.

If you can find the email that PMDG sent you when you bought the aircraft, you can follow the same steps as usual and it should work normally. There isn't any need to mess with files in your community folder because that would mean that you cannot update the aircraft.
Go to your community folder and see if there's a folder called "pmdg-aircraft-738" or replace 738 with 737 if you got the -700, 736 if you got the -600. If that folder isn't there, try uninstalling and reinstalling the aircraft and if it's there, restarting your computer might help. Make sure you restart it not shut it down and turn it back on. If it still doesn't work after restarting your computer, try uninstalling and reinstalling. I hope that helps.
The PMDG operations center is only necessary for updating the product or installing liveries. I'm struggling to understand what you mean by saying it takes you to folders. However, I can recommend restarting your computer as there may be some sort of error to do with your RAM and this would reset it. If that doesn't work, you can always reinstall the operations center by going to the PMDG website, clicking more, going to the downloads section and following the instructions under "PMDG Operations Center". This should fix any problems that may have occurred when you installed the PMDG operations center without you having to reinstall the whole plane. I hope this helps.
Did you download the installer or the aircraft to your iCloud? If it's the installer, you can just download it back to your computer and continue as normal. Otherwise, you probably have to download the plane again. I hope this helped.
Microsoft should handle it all for you. Once you've purchased the plane from the marketplace you should be able to download it just as you would any other item from the marketplace.
Yes, I see it too. From what I can remember, you nee the activation code and a one time verification code that is sent to my email. I haven't received such an email so I'm assuming its fine. Thank you for pointing that out, it could have been bad.
If you mean the file that you get from the PMDG website or email, yes. If you mean the file that that installer then prompts you to install, it's best to leave that at the directory it defaults to or if that's wrong direct it to your community folder.
You can keep the .zip file in your downloads folder. Once you extract it and open the .exe file inside it it should automatically download all the files you need into the correct locations.

I think PMDG should be ashamed of being so negligent and unfriendly in guiding its clients on how to download and install their products.

No need to move it to Community?
When you run the installer it should automatically detect where your community folder is and install it there without you needing to do anything.
