I'm sorry to hear you were ill and glad you are doing better. Hand knitting can be a very Zen thing to do!
Knitting instead of doom scrolling had really helped my mental health, socks are so fiddly and time consuming bht they're saving my sanity. I have the long doctors appointments too as well as the super long wait times and if I forget my knitting it seems to take twice as long! I'm glad to hear you're doing better ❤️
We appreciate you sharing your time, expertise and life's curves 😊 Keep up th good work 👏
The camera following thing is making me feel nauseous :O
same
Me too - it was distracting
Yes, I’m prone to motion sickness and it’s definitely very sickness inducing
I was in hospital SIX months. I lost 1/2 of 2014! Not only did my hair fall out (think bald) but I had to do therapy to - eat, walk, you name it. You have my total sympathy. For anyone still reading this - GET YOUR FLU SHOT -- wow do I wish I had.
Thank you for your q&a very useful info. So sorry to hear you weren’t well last year and thank you for continuing your wonderful channel. I’m making your drop shoulder sweater in 4ply scrap sock yarn, I really like the simplicity of the pattern, just need to knit one more sleeve and sew up. Thank you again, take care
Welcome to the Passap club! So excited to see the E6000 in your collection and hoping you get it up and running smoothly quickly! Been using a Duo80 for about a year myself and have been loving it.
10:17 I’m definitely not watching this video on my phone while my code is compiling when I could pick up my sock project just a meter further away 🤫
From breakdown comes breakthrough! ❤️
at least you didn't loose all your eyebrows and eyelashes! I lost all my hair and i mean all my hair when i was going thru chemo and i looked like an alien without eyebrows or eyelashes lol
Ooh! I saw the e6000 console and got really excited! I would love to watch over your shoulder as you work through refurbishing it. So great! I have had mine for over four years and know ABsolutely nothing about it. So, I'll be watching with much excitement. Thanks!
hey @KnitFactoryImpl unfortunately the camera tracking you added this video is dizzying. I could only make it a few minutes before having to stop watching. I really look forward to and enjoy your videos, so in future would you consider turning the sensitivity of the tracking way down? I don't even have one of the disabilities normally affected by screen motion, so I imagine I'm not the only one who is struggling with the tracking.
I feel the same way about patterns. I don't hand knit. I can puzzle out the patterns, but they don't tell me much useful anyway, because I often have to work completely differently. For instance, right now I'm trying to figure out how to make a cardigan with a really interesting texture in it. It's hand knit bottom up, but I'm pretty sure I'll do it sideways so I can use short rows. Even machine knitting patterns are too row-by-row. I want to know where we're going and why.
I read the "Does the AYAB setup work with a Raspberry Pi?" as asking if you can use a Raspberry Pi as the computer running the AYAB desktop software, not as the interface board.
Yea, if you've got a supported OS (windows, mac, linux) installed on the RasPi you can use it as the host for the desktop software. It's just PyQt
@@KnitFactoryImpl Right, the instructions for running on Debian should work there (the default operating system, Raspbian, is a Debian derivative)
