Hi … enjoying your videos. You mentioned all costs except the cost of your phone usage … and how to set it up. How about some precise info. Do you have a monthly plan, do you buy plans upon arrival? I have an iphone but roaming and data is very expensive. I’m currently with Verizon who charge me $10 a day! Thanks and keep them coming … JIM

Pattaya is relatively cheap for Thailand compared to more major beach destinations like the Karon area of Phuket or Ao Nang in Krabi. Accomodation can easily reach 5-800+ usd in thailand(in my experience) if your in a high value area and you want a good hotel or airbnb.
I saw allot of people suprised by thailand's costs earlier this year when i was there. But its not really a true 3rd world country anymore at this point so the costs are understandable.

I would be interested in a video by yourself on how you really fill your day? How you deal with Boredom? Many expats talk about this being the number #1 problem when you are there long term.
I also have a passive income from rental properties about the same amount as you, so could retire there. I have spent extended periods of time there from 1 month to 3 months and so much downtime in the hotel room staring at 4 walls wondering what to do next, I get really homesick. Many just end up in Weatherspoon's all day.
The thing is with work it fills the best part of the day for better or worse. All the better if the work is interesting and pays well. I read somewhere although a lot of people look forward to retirement, many shrivel up and die within 5 years. The pensions companies know this. So you genuinely seem to be enjoying your time away from home, would be interesting if you could address this subject?

Hi! Really enjoying your videos and thanks for your service. I haven't traveled internationally in a while, but in the old days, immigration would require a round-trip ticket to "prove" you weren't planning to over stay your tourist visa. Is that still the case? If so, how do you get around that if you haven't decided where you'll go next? I would much rather book one-way tickets, but don't know if that's possible. Thanks in advance for your advice. See you on the road.
