Love it! You make it look very easy but I know it takes years of practice messing around with Photoshop. Also, I think those original airbrushed Transformers drawings are some of the greatest toy-line artwork ever - they capture the cool side of the robots whilst retaining the 'toyness' of them perfectly. The Wheeljack drawing is my favourite :)
Spectacular video. I've been waiting for this video for a while. I have several vintage card backs I would love to bring back to life. I've been wanting to print something out on sticky back paper. Just big enough to cover the torn areas. So they don't look so bad on my wall. I figured it was possible. I just didn't know where to start. Absolutely fantastic video. As always thank you so much for all you do Dave. The time, care, and heart you put into doing these videos is appreciated more than I think you realize.
Really nice job dude. I must say I do very much enjoy the term "noise" when used in image description. That original card was certainly quite noisy. Cheers for the video Dave👍
Thanks Dave Looks excellent. I did a similar thing with a Star Wars vintage cardback a few years back. Not as sophisticated as yours but was very satisfied with the result. Used a glue stick to glue the bubble on. There's just something very tactile about the original cards. I'd love to give your technique a go, just need to master photoshop. 🙂
Outstanding! Can not love this video enough! Great to learn some new techniques, I might have to go and revisit some of the card recreations I have made to bring them up to “T.P. Grade!” Thank you 🙏🙏🚀
It's no accident. It compels people to buy two of the same figure. If you could painlessly remove the figure from the packaging then you wouldn't need to double up.
Great video ! Is there any chance of grabbing the print ready pdf ? As have a card in pretty much same condition, and am sure the same print would pretty much cover the bits needed ! Can feed and water you at tfn in return!
I like the original edge wear that is on the card (which you have left - for now?), Will you be leaving the newly photoshopped part clean/without the edge wear?
I plan to make a sticker for the missing part and stick a new blister over it. Chances are you won't see much of the new part as it will all be hidden. The original card will be left as is. Aged and rough around the edges.
Dave could you please recreate THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK 1982 - PALITOY - CATALOG-POSTER with the AT-AT in the snow with the toys figures. The poster it's self is almost impossible to get because it was folded so it has horrible lines going through the picture. You're expertise in Photoshop could definitely fix this 🤞🤞 Oh and I'll pay for it on your website 🙏 Ref. :
If someone has a nice scan of the poster I can take a look. It wouldn't surprise me if this hasn't already been done. Maybe check the replicator boxes and inserts website.
@@ToyPolloiTwo Do you know the poster Dave it's the same as the AT-AT box art from the 80s. Had a look at replicator boxes no luck I'm a afraid. They have the box but not great quality.

Photoshop god. Out here recreating artwork perfectly while i struggle to draw triangles.
I really liked the new music! The tempo matched the video nicely.
Dude you’re a wizard.
I just watched this. It blew me away. So im an official member of TP2 now as well!!
Great! Thanks so much!

Awesome! Thank you!
Absolutely incredible!!
This is one I've been waiting for. Will take me a while to get it figured out. But definitely appreciate it. Cheers Dave!
Glad to help!
Toy repairs & photoshop masterclass; what a channel 👏🏼
Thanks 😊
A lot of fun to see, Dave!
Always a treat to see you do your thing, Dave. Nice job. Thanks.
Fantastic job
Thank you! Cheers!
Impressive!
Love it, I just need to get really good with photoshop now!
If you only knew how long I was waiting for this video, Dave... Thank you so much for that!
Happy to help!
This is excellent 😊
Thank you! 😊
I wish companies used a glue that would loose when heated or something like that, so we can open and still preserve the cardback.

They could do what neca does. Resealable clam shell

I still need to do some finishing touches to the art before I make it available. Cheers
Dave are you just going to print out the missing ripped bit to stick back on to the original card or print out a whole new card ?
I plan to just replace the missing part and stick a new blister over the top of it.
I like the original edge wear that is on the card (which you have left - for now?), Will you be leaving the newly photoshopped part clean/without the edge wear?
I understood it as he was just going to print out the missing ripped bit to stick back on to the original card ?
@@Rick_Todd Hmm, could be. Although it could still have some slight edge rub done to it to blend it in ?
@@dantooine4279 Yes but if he is just going to add the missing piece in when he glues the new blister on it will hide the joins anyway.
@@Rick_Todd Looking forward to part 2 😃

Buying knockoff junk. Disappointing
It can be hit and miss. Some are good, some are a little disappointing.
